@ megastu, Spreekt u nederlands? Where did you school in Amsterdam? There are international job offers mostly in the Hague and Amsterdam. I love the Netherlands and I look forward to visiting that place sometime soon again. Can I stay there? NO, I don't think so for now. Most of my friends have left Netherlands, so it will be boring for me. ![]() |
There is no way development is going to meet Lagos State, that certain foot will not be stepped on. Unfortunately, we live in a society where alternative planning and arrangement factoring 'risk assessment and management' are not been undertaken and compensation given to those who are 'negative' recipients to such development. If Pa Ibrahim or whomever decides that, the easiest way to survive is by armed robbery, he would have himself to blame. It is a crime against the law, and there are consequences for such an action. If his brain can think of a negative means to earn his living, I am sure, there are more than one other alternative in positive thinking and development to Lagos State, as to how he can once again make his earning. |
SuperPap:I would not easily want to call it a stupid article if I were you. The report indicates that some people have now seen begging as a lucrative business, giving insights into how much is being made and what the global meltdown is having on them at the moment. |
topup:No, she is not expected to play dumb or neither being naive. Every man, has his ego. To some, it is an 'emotional ego', for some others, it is 'financial responsibility ego' which must not be crossed by the woman. A woman has to learn what her man wants when it comes to his emotion and adjust herself within negotiable and reachable limits. There are men who prefer that, even though you can read my emotions, give me 'SPACE' to sort myself out emotionally. Do not come rubbing it in my face, simply because I give out my emotions easily. On the other hand, there are men, wherein their ego lies in making their women not being able to read them emotionally. It gives them utmost joy and satisfaction. Should the woman in that case play dumb or naive to the man?? I hope you get my picture more clearer now. ![]() |
Pataki, do you wash yourself?
Yes, in whichever terms your question is interpreted to mean. ![]() |
A relationship entails both party being able to read one another. It is not only the man who is expected to read her woman, and it is also vice-versa for the woman. A woman who cannot read her husband's mind emotionally even without the man talking, should clearly note that is the first signal, her relationship cannot work. It is an underlining statement to understanding your man. In respect to a man feeling threatened, it is relative. Some men are comfortable with their women understanding and reading them easily as it makes room for less quarrel and hassles, while some men feel a woman reading them/their mind, is a clear interpretation that, they (the man) are weak emotionally. Therefore, they tend to back-out and become emotionally distant from the woman. Should such a man be blamed and accused of being immature? NO, I don't think so. However, there is the role a woman should play, once she observes such. As it beholds on her to use utmost discretion, when dancing around the terrains of a man's emotion who feels unsecured at such. |
Often times, we get things so wrong and never want to get out of it. There are men who were trained to do their washing by themselves. They sometimes end-up having a wife who is so dutiful, and ready to do anything for her man which includes washing his clothes. If this goes on for a while, there is the tendency for the man to become over-relaxed and never take on the challenge of washing his clothes again. In such situation, a woman should make the man understand that, if the relationship is going to work effectively, he should not see it as: ''a master - servant'' relationship. Hence both party must be ready to sacrifice, and work in harmony and unity. A relationship should never be viewed in the eyes of: ''I am the BOSS'' so my say is the final, and what I instruct, you must obey. Never should a relationship be about 'talking to your partner' rather it should be about: 'talking with your partner.' @ Poster, You are in the wrong. And if you think you can continue with it, there are repercussions in the nearest future. |
spikedcylinder:Just the right topic you do be found in. Isn't it? ![]() |
Now this is getting better and interesting by the second. At least with the coming international break, there should be less noise making from those scummies. ![]() Who says footie is by stats? Keep referring to stats when evidently Fulham, Liverpool, Chelsea are making SAF useless. Oh what a beautiful game the Premiership this season is. ![]() One thing is certain, it can swing in any way. But the probability of the title going to ManU this season is very very low. No truer words can be said other than this. ![]() |
Very funny coming from a GAYnner. Are you aware Arsenal are potentially 13 points behind Man Utd as we speak?? 2 losses = 3 draws. . . . .Not catastrophic!!! SAF is still in charge.
Just because you still have a pending game does not mean any additional point to you guys. It is ZILCH! So zip it. What is not catastrophic? When last did such a shaming by Fulham occur? 45 years ago! Is this shameful and despicable? YES it is! Two of your players got sent off the field today. And you tell me SAF is still in charge? Get it right dude, y'all are going down. ![]() |
bagoma: and made a FOOL of ManU. |

. . . . . . . Culled from BBC United's frustration at Craven Cottage was epitomised by Cristiano Ronaldo, who twice had to be warned by referee Phil Dowd for his petulant complaining and was booked for a reckless lunge at Murphy in the second half. In truth, Ronaldo, like his team-mates, was completely out of sorts, harried into giving the ball away with shocking regularity in a first half in which Fulham were rampant. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/7937081.stm |
@ Sauron, How it do mate? ![]() Even Fulham made a FOOL of MUMU today. Pity I could not watch the match. Where is my sweet little Cristalz? I have got some kleenex for her. ![]() |
Happy birthday kiddo! |
iReport:I seriously feel like slapping you silly for this statement above. ![]() |
I am sure if ''Obasanjo'' is placed on the search engine google, this thread will pop up. Allow me to throw my own internet eggs with my stinking and rotten tomato at that rotund, fugly, lips gigantic, animal oriented, gorilla looking person called Obasanjo. He never knew, he who laughs last, laughs best. The interview he had in Hardtalk showed that, it was not the typical useless and nonsense NTA interviews that those silly and stupid tv interviewers - journalists in Nigeria usually conduct for him in Aso rock villa. I was truly delighted that the animal called Obasanjo, indeeds knows that he can never be loved by his own people who thought he was a man coming to redeem our economy, make things better for Nigeria. A bloody thief, a murderer, an adulterer. His own first daughter, an arrogant and bloody thief as well. May Nigeria never again, experience a man called the 'Ebora of Olowu', a christian by day, an occult by night. |
Just finished watching Obasanjo's interview on hardtalk with Stephen. I cannot help but laugh how that Orangutan of a human being was being questioned, and his usual temper flaring up. Pathetic liar and a disgrace to Nigeria. Here is the link |

The Ibos have turned guinea to a drug zone! they have bastardized visa applications with their drug minded intentions. Moderator and Administrator, Can a ban be set in place for any further comments on tribal bashing? What is the meaning of all these for goodness sake? Does all this serve any purpose to the development of the country? Does it bring any intelligent discourse to any topic on nairaland? This is becoming annoying seriously. |
A Nigerian man tried to smuggle nearly 200 pounds of marijuana into China in his luggage but got nervous and left the cache sitting at the airport for a day, Beijing customs officials said Wednesday. The man flew into Beijing International Airport from the Nigerian capital of Lagos on March 2 and left the airport with just one bag packed with clothes and some cash, said a statement from the Beijing Customs Bureau. He returned the next day to retrieve the rest of his bags, which were found to contain 72 bricks, or 190 pounds (87 kilograms), of marijuana thickly wrapped in black plastic, said the statement posted to the bureau Web site. The bust was the bureau's biggest so far this year, it said. The China Daily newspaper on Wednesday published a photo of the man, who was not identified by name, handcuffed in a chair as one officer gripped his shoulder and another questioned him while pointing to dozens of plastic bundles laid out on the floor. The customs statement said the man was detained but did not say if he had been formally arrested or charged. Calls to the Nigerian Embassy in Beijing rang unanswered. Drug trafficking in China is punishable by death.http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2009/03/18/asia/AS-China-Drug-Bust.php
I think this report gives a bit more clearer picture to the details unlike what was obtainable with Punch newspaper. Still the identity - name of the man was not disclosed. It is very possible, money must have exchanged hands at the Nigerian airport for this large consignment of drugs to have passed through easily. Nigeria - **sighs** |
sunej:I knew an ignoramus will jump on that bait no sooner or later. 1) Tell me where in the report, the guy was traveling from Nigeria? 2) I have never traveled out before. Is that satisfactory enough for you? 3) Most airports have dogs that sniff luggages. If you are oblivious to this, go and get upgraded. 4) He did not abandon his luggage. He checked it into the airport storage and came back the following day to pick it up. Do you people bother to read articles before posting? |
He could be a Jamaican carrying a Nigerian Passport. No Nigerian is this dumb to travel with 87 kg of Cannabis into China(of all places). His toe nails would be removed, his eyes gouged out and his balls fried. . . . . .Far East Asia is the last place to commit any crime as a NIGGER.
That is very possible. I suspect there is more to this story than what has been stated already. I am still questioning why is identity - name was not revealed. ![]() I am so sure what possibly could have led to his arrest easily was the excess weight of those marijuana. If it had been within the specified kilos of luggage required by the Chinese airport authority, I am sure, the guy would be smiling to the banks right now. |
