Let the guy do his ECA, it'd help their application. What he graduated with doesn't matter. I'm not sure if WES is best for lawyers though.

Check the procedure listed above for Lagos, it is pretty much the same for Abuja. Only difference is transmission fee per kid is #10400. Pay, print out your receipt and enclose with the other documents in same envelope.

Yes.
You will pay transmission fees for kids under 14years.
Note that they didn't come for biometrics, meaning they haven't paid anything before unlike the parents.
I passed through all that 4th of this month.
If u r using lagos VFS, go between 8 and 10am to avoid story that touch abeg.

Which NOC did you eventually use for your AINP application and IRCC PR app post ITA, the one that got initially got you the AINP NOI or the new one you changed it to? Sorry that bit wasn't clear to me.

If you use any other VFS apart from where you did biometrics each family member including children must pay transmission fee. If you go to the VFS where you did biometrics it seems children still need to pay transmission fee (if they did not do biometrics) according to these people:

Search NL for "VFS PPR Passport" and you should find a treasure of info. If a VFS doesn't permit walk in, you'll need to courier your package to them. I don't think you must walk in even if it is permitted. If you are not in Lag or Abj, courier it is.

Email VFS though to be 100% sure.

3211 was the NOC that got me AINP NOI but on applying i used 2221 that now stalled me. So I had to apply for a switch back to 3211, then came nomination, ITA and RFV.

For your passport submission, got to any of the VFS you did your Biometric and submit your passport, it's Free. You can just work in,no appointment needed but for VSF Abuja, Passport submission starts from 8am and end at 10am,Monday to Friday.i don't know about Lagos Office.

Hallelujah! It's RFV...

Not too long but a roller coaster daunting but eventful journey.

My siblings in Canada have been on my case to relocate but for some weird reasons I rather prefer to just do visit and come back. Until I got married and my wife became so scared of naija wahala. Easily my people were able to make her start the process.

She applied in mid month of Dec 2020, for our ECA and used etx for transcript, we both have masters from UNN but surprisingly, her WES was completed in first week of Jan 2021 while mine was eventually completed in June 2021. That delay got me involved because of transcript issues and that's how my interest started, coupled with the lack of foreseeable end to insecurity and above all the kids future.

My wife's first and only IELTS result came ending of June, 2021 with just an average score of 7 (I didn't write IELTS). This was enough to enter the pool. We both have more than a decade work experience from a single organization.

As at when we joined pool our CRS was a paltry 347! Before we got nomination it dipped to 327 due to birthdays, lol. So cos of the low score we dont visit the EE portal, we were focused on getting PNP.

So just as the EE profile was created, an EOI was submitted for SINP and within few days we got an ITA. At this point, I now put on my researching cap and carried Canada immigration matter as case study especially SINP.

I realised since we didn't have POF ready and SINP has a rigid 3months old POF rule, we had to painfully ignore the ITA and went all out to gather fund. When it expired we were now set and ready to receive another ITA. Unfortunately, the rules have changed! SINP draws paused and eventually health professionals need to get job offer to be considered!

In between this period of dilemma, we took a stroll into the EE profile and found notification of interest (NOI) sitting pretty but now old in the account!

AINP sent us NOI end of September, 2021 but we didn't get to see it until mid November! It was a rush of emotions. We noticed that, we didn't accept to click getting mail option. So we couldn't get mail from EE portal and since we weren't expecting any miracle we just abandoned the account.

AINP usually gives 2weeks for applicants to accept their NOI else it goes invalid. Well, we sent an acceptance using the link provided and also followed it up with a letter of clemency, stating why we missed it.

Fortunately, after 48hours, we got a response that we can continue with the same application under same stream. That was the first miracle for me in this process.

Unfortunately, cos of the experience we have had with SINP as regards health professionals and Canadian licensing. We opted to fill in another NOC that does not require license during the submission of application. This was even recommended by the licensing authority of my wife profession in Canada, cos licensing can take some time and makes immigration process long.

So after we submitted AINP application in Jan 2022, by march most of the applicants we submitted same month have been nominated but ours was not touched. We knew that our delay was cos we did not apply with the NOC upon which we got NOI. We didn't know what to do. We were scared to make any move to avoid disqualification.

On a fateful night, kidnappers came and made attempt close to our home, the gunshots were terrible! It was in a prone position, lights off, shivering, that I drafted a letter of change of NOC for my wife to send to AINP. We gave them reasons why we had to deviate from the original NOC based on the recommendation of a regulatory body over there. We showed all evidence, dropped links to the website quoted and prayed. This was around April 10, 2022.

About 2weeks after, my wife was called by AINP, for some fact check. The agent is a Nigerian so the talk flowed well. He asked for her NOC, and she told him the initial NOC filled and that she sent a mail for change to the main NOC. The officer said,he's calling cos of the mail (our second miracle) and fortunately for us, the reference letter submitted was in favour of the new NOC as well.

Nomination came the following day as my birthday gift, after we sent the payslips he asked immediately.

Unfortunately, EE draw happened that same day before we could link the nomination to EE. So early may ITA arrived and we submitted application using same documents used for AINP. Our reference letter was about 6months old, spouse foreign work experience was clicked but since I had collected my reference when we applied for my wife's, so I just uploaded it as asked. Thank God mine wasn't assessed cos the job duties no too rhyme at all with my chosen NOC. We didn't see IRCC guideline when we were making request for reference letter. We only wrote it as our usual routine came to mind.

My wife's reference letter was better off but can be better. Remember we wrote her letter to have semblance with that initial NOC we filled during AINP?

It was when we got nomination that I joined this group. I had a lot of struggle within me to change the reference letter but cos of the tussle involved in getting it from work. We just decided to use it because we didn't want to delay any further. I was not comfortable with some entries too on our marriage certificate.

Anyways, I remember in one of my queries when the amiable @Graciouswords advised that I should look for WhatsApp group of my AOR and join to know when eligibility is passed for people around me. That advice was the bombard. Those WhatsApp groups are real tension relievers.

Pls to submit passport in Nigeria to VFS where biometrics was done, do one need to go online to do anything? Are we making any transmission payment for dependents who didn't capture for biometrics? The recent announcement that one can walk in to submit passport physically in Nigeria, does it mean that passport are now being stamped in Naija also? Is someone residing in naija but outside Lag and Abj supposed to just courier passport 2way to Abuja/Lagos and that's all, even with below 14years old dependents? Pls what's the process?

Please what should someone that lost his passport after PPR do? IRCC have been informed of the incident with all supporting documents that lead to the passport been stolen via the webform. There’s no response yet. The 30 days given to submit passport will lapse next week and it also seems getting a lost passport replaced is an inundated task. It might take like 3 months to get a new passport.
Will this have any effect on one’s application ? Will the application be reopened ?
Please help a brother out…

Simply Scanning and uploading them just the way it came from account/finance dept is fine.

I was in this situation with my spouse, I uploaded statement of result first and the transcript was sent, School refused to verify because he had certificate, so I uploaded certificate copy on wes portal and waited for them to resend verification and they resent using the certificate plus transcript before the school then responded to verification and we got the ECA about 4 days after verification was received.

Pls how did you know the reason why the school refused to verify and did you have to follow any special protocol with WES to newly upload your certificate?

If supervisor's details is not amongst what's on the letter head
used, then add it (Phone no, email and designation).

there is debit and credit card in Nigeria. Dom account debit card works too. Let the relative send their card details or you do screenshare. The signature may show a stamp backend or IP address. Or how else did the officer notice

Before getting ITA people should also try and open dom account. Looking for relatives to pay for you sometimes is blackmail as they may not need your naira equivalent at that point. And selling that naira for cad is extreme sports. In groups where people do peer to peer cad/naira sales. Once someone offers to sell in 10 seconds it’s bought already.

Advice on way forward for new applicants is very valid.

But Nigeria's debt cards are useless for the application.

SINP or was it a regulatory body SINP needed to certify me, they specifically stated that cards from Nigeria are not allowed.

IRCC needs to be categorically accurate about their claims too.

This signing matter was quite obscured before, not many people took cognizance.

I didn't know these rules sign in existed......but IRCC seem to track IP addresses for GC key login..... I once got a message that I wouldn't be able to log in for having tried from IP addresses indicating different countries within a very short time.

If these are the rules, then applicants need to get the credit/debit card details of someone who trusts them rather than give their own GC Key details to a relative/friend/consultant/rep/lawyer. That, OR get their own dollar card which some Nigerian banks offer.

The application was deemed incomplete and returned which we usually means the person needs to get ITA again, but the last line says for IRCC to CONTINUE processing. Can the fellow not resubmit using their own portal details based on this? Is this what they typically write in a cancelled app? Abi na me no read am well?

The last paragraph of the rejection letter lost me as well.

Lots of people have hitherto got help with payment by sending login details to relatives, should we say they are lucky or this officer did too much or there is more to the application than we know?

Okay! So it means you can't login from different IP or how could they be so sure about the applicant did not write the name himself?

Secondly, their guidelines stated that debit or credit card can used to effect payment, which is not correct for Nigeria.

So does it mean people asking relatives in canada to help them pay because of dollar/bank issues here are flouting the rules or are relatives not considered as third party for this purpose?

Does this now mean that, it is wrong to send login details to relatives in Canada to help in payment of application? Which people usually do cos of the inability to do regular dollar transaction in Nigeria?

Even people who use representatives are getting jittery with this letter. The person who received this said he contracted a certified representative and declared same in the application but still got this kind of rejection.

This rejection is very wicked in my opinion.

Good day everyone. Please I received a refusal letter today due to an error from IRCC. I recently had a newborn and I formed IRCC to that effect via the web form. I received the automated reply that they would reach out to me. They did reach our and asked that I upload the passport biodata of my new born which I don't have yet. I reached out to them via the web from to ask for an extension and was expecting to hear from them that the extension had been granted. But to my surprise yesterday, what i did receive was a refusal letter yesterday stating that i did not provide the passport page requested before the stated deadline and did not communicate with them either for an extension which i did. I have sent another web form this morning explainingthis and also attached the automated email i received on the day I asked for an extension. ( it was not my first time asking for an extension regarding any document that I needed time to provide, the last being my spouse's renewed passport biodata which took forever. I was granted the extension for my spouse so Im no novice with their web form). Kindly advice me what other steps I can take to rectify this because starting the application from scratch due to IRCC's error is not an option for me. Looking forward to your kind contributions. Thank you.

So sorry about the refusal. When you said they got in touch with you, I guess it was an ADR sent to your account right? If yes, it'd have come with a placeholder where you should attach the requested document.

Here is where i feel the problem arose from, you said your "reply to them was via filling of webform". This usually take time for them to "see". They would have been looking out to get your response through the means they reached out to you within the specified period.

However try follow the advice given here so far, that you should mail your VO or all their contacts, showing prove that you sent them the document. So that they can temper justice with mercy.

SINP is very critical about their POF guidelines. Personally last year, I had to abandon my SINP ITA cos of their unbending POF rules.

However, with their recent stream especially for health personnel and some other regulated NOC, where you have to get a Job before you can even submit EOI. I am tempted to say POF rules may be adjustable since you already have a job. But pls do a thorough research on their site, since it's a relatively new programme you may not get many feedbacks past experiences. I dont know much about this new, get job before applying stream, cos I got another PNP and didn't push SINP again.

Final word: Check the specifics on their site and if still in doubt, give SINP a phone call.

What is the difference between nomination and ITA?

ITA: Invitation to Apply for nomination, you get this if you are selected from the pool of EOI.

Nomination: Implies your application for the PNP is successful, earning you 600 points that will be added to your EE profile CRS.

Hello guys, I have been trying the Saskatchewan PNP program in a while and just if recent I got a request to upload much more information and also was requested to make a payment of 350 CAD. To the best of my knowledge regarding Saskatchewan PNP, I know it's only when you get a nomination that you will be required to make the 350 CAD payment. This is making me a bit confused. You dont have nomination yet, but based on your expression of interest (EOI), you have been picked from their pool and given invitation to apply (ITA). When you want to upload those documents you claimed to have in your EOI. That's when you will pay the 350 CAD as application fees. Thereafter, your submitted application will now be processed for you to have Nomination, if your documents are satisfactory.

Read her post again if you may, she said she got the COVID19 testing job based on her WE in Nigeria meaning she's got foreign work experience and not having Canadian license is a concern! That's what I typed spoke to. Equally check out Graciouswords suggestions to her. Both messages are valid. Why is she focusing only on CEC since she is equally well positioned for FSW?

As far as I understand it, one does not need a licence to apply for FSW even if the NOC says so (as part of the employment requirements). This is clearly stated by IRCC: https://www.nairaland.com/6081746/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/537#101136249

However some PNPs may require licenses when you choose some NOCs e.g. SINP

You may also require a license to actually work in that profession (NOC) after you become PR.

Licensing is not a pre-requisite for EE FSW applications though, as far I as know, so at no point in the application must the person provide a license (the key thing is for your chosen NOC to match your JD as provided by your employer as per IRCC format).

Thank you! It means the nurse who has few years of experience in COVID19 testing has no fears in using her nursing foreign experience of many years, provided she can easily get hold of proofs since she is far away.
