Yes we still have arsenal and city, but 3 points from those games we are still ahead of all those teams.

Nobody expect Valencia to finish above madrid, or spurs to knock them out, same way no one expect Watford to finish above arsenal. The gulf in class and statue between Madird and Valencia is not same with Chelsea and united. United is a bigger team than Chelsea so being ahead of them, though they may go down at some point, should not be sneered at. playing "better football" as you term it does not put points on the table, result does. Wenger played better football than fergie but fergie won 10 EPLs 2 champions league.

To your first question, it means nothing at this stage that's why you will not see any sane man banking on Valencia to win LA liga or Spurs to trash Madrid in the knockout stages of the league.

To your second question, they have played the better football and it's only a matter of time before it's reflected on the epl table, we still have Arsenal and City to play...I mentioned them to highlight the impact of Poch, Conte and Klopp on their play...

Thank you, you talk about dead weights as if it is our fault and not Mou, Pep met Kolarov, Clichy, Fernando, Sagna etc and he replaced them with players who are not only younger but better, Walker, Mendy, Bernado Silva, Danilo and his other buys are doing great, Sane, Gundogan etc. Mou has no excuse, we still have the so-called dead weights because he thinks they can do a job...

That we are outscoring isn't a pointer to our dominance or collective strength, most of our play is reliant on moments of individual brilliance and when Martial/Rashford/Pogba have a bad game or are tightly marked, we suffer...
Talking about personnel, I think we have got a far superior team to Spurs, Arsenal, Liverpool and we are on par with Chelsea so it's definitely not the personnel...Off the ball movement has nothing to do with personnel, it has everything to do with training and the methods emplyed by the coach, yesterday, we were poor defensively, we couldn't control the game and we didn't create enough chances and to be honest, it's not the first time we've been subpar this season...

One glaring problem with our overall play is our off+the-ball movement. We hardly make intelligent rums, don't utilise space, and of the top 6 teams we are the laziest.

That's why we've been struggling.

Mkhitaryan likes to be very direct while Mata is more useful in the slow build up. The more direct player is usually the better player, but he needs good build up players around him to help his directness.

The more direct player is likely going to make more wrong passes, fail to make a good first touch and lose possession because he is thinking of how to attack with the ball rather than making a pass (backward, sideward, forward).

So a player like Mkhitaryan might go to a team like Barca or Bayern and excel while a player like Mata might go to such teams to make up the numbers. In United, Mkhitaryan might play better with a player like Pogba and Martial. These guys take men away from the number 10. He will be able to do counter with a player like Rashford when Pogba gives that long pass.

At this point, we have to rate them based on their ability to perform on the right wing cos Zlatan is more likely to be given the nod to play behind Lukaku and for his ability to bring Valencia into the play by constantly drifting inside and helping us retain possession, I'd opt for Mata rather than Mhki on the right...

I think Pareira is an average player.

He already has a good passing range to his game, with more game time, I reckon he'd fit in as an able deputy...

I feel the closest player to Pogba in our books in terms of passing range is Andreas Pereira, we should recall him come January and let him deputize for Pogba...Herrera should rotate with Matic for games against the bottom teams at Old Trafford, Mou should rotate to avoid burnout of key personnel.
Now unto the next game, if Shaw doesn't start at Basle then he is officially gone. I'd love to see Rojo and Shaw in the first team for the trip to Basle I just hope Mou will not start Matic and Lukaku, they need a bit of rest...
