Politics › Re: Obama Leaves Nigeria Out Of $110m Peacekeeping Fund by patrickmuf(m): 12:17am On Aug 11, 2014
9jalyte: I want to thank people like Davitogreat, I was almost choking with the first brainless comments of some bubble heads roaming around niaraland, always looking for where to spill the excess bitterness in them. Very shameless fellows who are so proud to display their emptiness by insulting their own country thinking they are Gani Fawenmi. The world has engaged Nigeria on a psychological warfare, the aim is to destroy every sense of patriotism in the citizens, then they will implement the Egyptian and Libyan models of revolution - using the citizens to destroy the country. Every day, every where it is all about Nigeria - CNN, BBC, etc, just as if they were commissioned to burn Nigeria down. The most painful thing is that our young men, who I expected to smarter than the older generation are even showing indications of greater intellectual poverty. they can't see beyond the tips of their noses.

Have you asked your self, why did ECOMOG die. Who really destroyed ECOMOG, and why. Nigeria was the supper power that funded ECOMOG and tackled the west African crises without asking anybody for help. Nigeria was clearly seen as the God-father of west African, and a strong force in Africa. That obviously did not seem cool for some tyrannical countries that will never want any country to make them look irrelevant. Ofcource, for any super country to show her big brother gesture, it has to be in Africa, and all of a sudden, it was being clear that they may turn irrelevant and Nigeria becoming more relevant. Systematically, they used the UN peace keeping force to overshadow ECOMOG/Nigeria, and that was it. Now, they are cementing the long time plan of burying any possible African independent peace keeping force, and some are clapping. This dependence syndrome embedded in some of our people is becoming scary. Who cares if the fund Malawi, are we same?

It is painful that other countries respect Nigeria, I mean, if you have not gone out of Nigeria to see how the other African countries respect Nigeria, you will not understand. Nigeria is the last hope of the black nation, and it means alot to every black man. Any Nigerian that is playing into that strategic destruction plan of some vested interests should look himself in the mirror and call him self a FOOL. Yes, we are not perfect, but who is. do you think oyibos are as good as they project? What do you think you will gain by always messing your self up. We should all focus on rebuilding our intellectual infrastructure, that is the most decayed in Nigeria.

We do not need any support from any country, we can! in fact they should stop insulting us with those petty grants. Over the years they have been giving, what great change has taken place with those. Except we face our challenges, we can never be seen as a force to reckon with.
stop blabbing each time the cook one propaganda against Nigeria, cus if you do, you can as well consider your self as zombie, cus you have been manipulated to act the way some people want you to act and you acted exactly that same way. We will overcome this battle.
No offense but reading through your post, you kinda agreed with same people you tagged as brainless... Most of your write up is propaganda based...

davitogreat: Your just typing nonsense. My comment had nothing to do with feelings. Or licking ass.

It's all about facts. If the Americans see it fit to share defense funds with Uganda, ghana and Rwanda. ( countries with very questionable corrupt/shady governments and institutions)

Uganda- very corrupt. Government has history of abuse. Also history of using child soldiers.
Ghana- very corrupt and is a poster boy on how NOT to run your economy
Rwanda- though Rwanda has made great improvements economically Kagames government has also been very oppressive towards opposition and anyone who speaks ill of his government. Has played a role in assassinating journalists and opposition members in Rwanda and even outside the country.
Plus lets not forget rwanda and uganda have been caught assisting rebels who are destabilizing the congo.

So with all that What makes it right to skip Nigeria? Jonathan with all his faults is not as bad as the leaders of these countries.

nigeria is one of the worlds leading peace keeping nations and a country that does and has done a lot for Africa. So it's logical to work closely with such a country if one is looking to further peace in Africa.
Bro, i think in the grand scheme of things Nigeria is too big to be looking up to others for financial aid...It's like a 35yrs old man working with NNPC yet still seeking assistance from his dad, a senator, doesn't make sense, does it?

Nairaland General › Re: Why Are Nigerians So Unserious?!? by patrickmuf(m): 10:19pm On Aug 10, 2014
Barywhyte: I really do not see that happening. Nothing wrong with being optimistic though. Nigeria citizens are too laid-back and the only thing they spend their heads thinking about is money and living extravagance lifestyle. A Nigeria with an average monthly pay will not participate in protest against bad leadership. He is ok and there is no need to risk his precious life over protest
True but it looks the surest way to redemption
Nairaland General › Re: Why Are Nigerians So Unserious?!? by patrickmuf(m): 9:45pm On Aug 10, 2014
OP, same question lingered on my mind some time ago till i had to question my dad during the protest in Egypt, why Nigerians couldn't do same...He's reply was that Moubarak ruled Egypt for almost 30+ years and all it took was just a moment he never envisaged and boom he was out...Relating his response to our plight in Nigeria, i think one day the masses will shock the political elites holding us back...
Shocking to see members of state and federal house, chairmen, governors, ministers, president, special advisers and so on driving the best cars, living in the best houses, taking trips abroad for every itch, sending their children to the best schools etc at the expense of the greater populace. This trash has gotta stop, i must live to see the Nigeria of my dreams.

Sincere9gerian: Kindly share with us the PROACTIVE measures your masters in Alausa took to safeguard Lagosians from possible Ebola outbreak.
Lame as usual...So Fashola should have banned all flights entering the country from Liberia or set up quarantine units? Do you even know the roles and responsibilities of each levels of government? You're are so not sincere, your case is more like Satan being called God.

Nice one...At 30, they should be no stopping...But with GEJ who has not really shunned the old practice of recycling politicians, i doubt if he's supposed to be taken seriously... Even if native doctors tell GEJ to create a ministry for them, he'd give it a consideration...It's all about 2015

xp17: bros, if you know how many humans and animals died during the world war 1 and world war 2 respectively, you would have gone in your quit to pray that God should not allow this happen in your generation.

America is very civilized, we believe in diplomacy, not like Russia. we've been at the centre to resolve the crisis in the middle east as a guardian of freedom to the people and the American way of life.

Russia is a small country and too small to be
ended by the US in 24hrs. the numbers of the US
army+marine+air force+ navy is more than the
size of the Russian population

America is the only country in the world that has fought 2 war simultaneously and still conquered.
note: the US army creed never accepts defeat and never quit.

God is good, that was why he made Obama for this time. if it were Bush's administration, the US would had since invaded Russia , take over her oil and leave Putin on the run to take asylum from one of the G6 countries. thank God Obama believes in peace talk to war.

as dumb a'ss as putin, he gave a sanction that his people would suffer most, more than the sanctioned . seriously putin would be better off in the rehab .

war is ugly, so as Russia
peace is beautiful , just like America
Stopped reading when you referred to Russia as a small country...Ignorance at its peak

upko: With a combined USA and NATO power Russia would burn to the ground in Two Weeks, Air supremacy would be achieved in Just 2days. Russia stands no chance......But foolish Nigerians especially Muslims who hate the USA would Keep living in denial. grin
Don't kid yourself, in a war between US and Russia, they'll definitely be no winner... Russia burn to ground in two weeks? Try another joke

meforyou1: And so? anambra that reconstructed federal roads nko? rivers and akwa ibom too did the same, so why cant your brother okorocha do same? there is no single good road in the whole of arondizuogu, be them federal, state or local govt roads.
That Anambra and other states did it does not guarantee that Imo state must follow suit... Why are you dodging the fact that it's a federal government roadhuh
