YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT. THIS GUY (PICTURED BELOW) IS ONE OF THEM. https://www.globalnews-ng.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/Pastor-Akinade.jpg READ THIS PROPHET'S ATROCITIES Four Mistresses With Love Children Appear At Prophet Akinade’s Funeral The Holy Scriptures say that in the last days, wonders shall never cease to happen. They explain further that many fake prophets will come up, claiming to be messengers of God; meanwhile, they are only messengers of evil, working for their personal interest. Since the death of the acclaimed man of God, Prophet Akinade Elijah of CAC Lion of Judah become known, controversies have continued to stir up, challenging his spirituality and ministerial life, some of which, as revealed in our story, exposed his immoral and unspiritual lifestyle. Many of his church members were calling and castigating us for exposing the man they hold dear, and who they believed could not go wrong. But if the revelation in our earlier story shocked many in his flock, they are in for another shocker of their lives when they hear that their General Overseer, before his death had other children outside his matrimonial home. Till his death, Pastor Akinade was ostensibly known with one wife, Lady Evangelist Augusta Oluwatoyin Akinade who is fondly called Iya Shiloh, mother of Obafemi, his known first child, in accordance with the scripture and the doctrine of the church he represented. But it may surprise you to know that something not befitting a Christian, let alone a man of God, happened as four mistresses, with their children born for the pastor out of wedlock, ranging from 15 to 19 years of age, except one of them known as Abiodun, who is said to be older than Obafemi, which puts his age in the range of late 20s to early 30s, appeared at the prophet’s burial which simply means that the late prophet has had him before he married his legal wife but the identity of the young man was shrouded in ultimate secret to the members of the church and from some people said to be close to him. Many that graced the burial rites in Ibadan were shocked to the bone marrow when the four women arrived simultaneously with their children who, according to insiders who witnessed the whole scenario, bear a noticeable resemblance to the deceased. We even gathered that prior to his death, he had called and given a substantial amount of money, running into millions of naira, to two of the mistresses and even left them a standing order to attend his burial in the company of their children in the event that he didn’t survive the ailment that had confined him to his sick bed. This, we heard, prompted the invasion of these mistresses and their children at the burial.Further learnt that some family members allegedly rejected one of them that they don’t want to have anything to do with. The legal wife, Iya Shiloh, was said to be dumbfounded at this revelation and church members as well as sympathizers could do nothing but grumble. It would be recalled that the prophet had to flee from his initial base in Ibadan to Lagos when a woman who was said to be the wife of a military man died in the course of her having a bout of the sinful act with him in a hotel. Be that as it may, tongues have continued to wag on the controversial lifestyle of the late man of God. While a faction in Christian circle allege that during his earthly ministerial life, he was forcing church members to make compulsory donations, an attitude that never portrayed him as a genuine man of God, others believe that there was nothing like that. Be that as it may, a leadership tussle in the congregation has also continued to gather storm. While Akinlolu, the immediate younger brother of the late man of God, who is also the husband of the popular gospel music act Bukola Akinade known as “Sewele Jesu” is said to be perfecting strategy to make things work Oba is warming up to take over the reins of leadership of the church.Though many people said the baton of leadership should be taken over by one Pastor Oyelaran a dark man with tribal who has been with the church for a long time. Oyelaran who is in his 50’s and said to be well loved by everybody because of his upright spiritual life and who we also learnt didn’t quite agreed with the reckless lifestyle of his boss, this we learnt prompted him to stay put in Ibadan just because he wouldn’t like to see the atrocities of his boss. Some members of the church are believed to be working seriously on making the deceased’s son, Obafemi, the one who will succeed his father the action that is contrary to the rules and regulations of Christ Apostolic Church. This, we gathered, has been preventing the elders from presenting Obafemi who is already presenting himself to the congregation as the new shepherd of the church that has been going through many problems, especially that of credibility, since the founder, Prophet Akinade passed on to the great beyond. source: globalnews magazine SOURCE (http://www.jangola.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1106:four-mistresses-with-love-children-appear-at-prophet-akinades-funeral&catid=42:lifestyle&Itemid=105) |

Drugs? No. I've never seen one with my n.a.k.e.d eyes and never touched it. Nigerians, Religions and Hypocriticality? Yes! The so-called Men of God: Priests, Bishops, Archbishops, Imams, Babalawos, etc, ARE ALL, WITHOUT AN EXCEPTION, WOLVES IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING. Generalization? No. At my age, I've never seen or heard of one that one can truly say, "this is indeed a pious religious and spiritual person in whom there is no guile". If Primates, Archbishops, Imams, etc., say "good morning", I'll gaze the skies through the windows and be sure the sun hasn't set. Conversely, if the likes of the Late Tai Solarin and Wole Soyinka say "good evening my brother", I'll unflinchingly take their words as the truth. Given that you and I know that religion is only a smoking screen and that our people are, as you rightly pointed out, hypocrites, why can't we face the reality? Dump religion! Yes, Africans are, historically, incurably religious. In postmodernity, as a result of INTELLECTUAL ENLIGHTENMENT, people, increasingly have come to realize that religious beliefs are, at best dubious. To deploy philosophers' diction, religious beliefs are unfalsifiable. To belief in unfalsifiable claims is to have been indoctrinated; to remain a product of indoctrination is to lack autonomy; to lack autonomy is to be enslaved; to be enslaved is to lack freedom. Freedom (which do not impinge on others' rights) is what we want in Nigeria. This is what makes the western and the developed world a fascinating place to live, work and prosper. And, quite frankly, this is why Nigeria and Nigerians never fail to amaze me - always leaving realities to chase shadows. Is it any wonder why this country, more than 50 years after gaining independence, has nothing to show for it. It's failures in all facets of life: education, medicine, politics and governance, to mention a few. I'm fed up, but thank gosh I only belong there remotely. |
I KNOW COUNTLESS NIGERIAN GUYS IN THE UK WHO HAVE WIVES AND CHILDREN BACK HOME IN NIGERIA, AND WHO BIGAMOUSLY TOOK 2ND AND 3RD WIVES IN EUROPE. TO CITE AN EXAMPLE. ONE GUY HAS A WIFE WITH KIDS IN NIGERIA. HE LIVED IN DUBLIN WHERE HE MARRIED A SECOND WIFE WITH WHOM HE HAD 3 KIDS. THIS GUY CROSSED OVER TO BELFAST WHERE HE MARRIED A THIRD WIFE WITH WHOM HE CURRENTLY LIVES AND HAVE 3 KIDS. ALL UNDER THE GUYS OF RESIDENT PERMIT. TO BE SURE, ONLY DATE A GUY THAT HAS CORRECT PAPERS, THEY WON'T STAY FOR LONG. |
IS THIS A WAY OF INSINUATING THAT NIGERIAN MARRIED MEN SLEEP 'ROUGH' |

Can someone do NLs, Nigerians and the whole whole a favour by helping to get GEJ's PhD Thesis Deposited Online, making it accessible to the whole world? ![]() |
Is it true this guy has a PhD. What's the benchmark/canon/rule/yardstick for GEJ's assertion that Nigeria isn't a failed State? |
Come to think of it, all the past and present Christian and Muslim Presidents, senators, LG chairmen, etc have failed this country. Isn't it time we allow secularists/humanists/atheists to take charge of this country? The future of this country, Nigeria, is in the hands of each and every Nigerian and certainly not in the hands of any deities or its adherents. |
emenim:I beg to utterly disagree with you, sir. In the developed world, even in China which is currently dominating the world economy, PRAYER and GOD is completely out of the equation. Well-meaning men and women sit down, brainstorm and come up with solutions. The problem with Nigeria and Nigerians today is that the time we should spend putting things right we deploy in praying and fasting. Nigeria's future is, collectively, in the hands of Nigerians and not in the hand of any deity. |
Who's gonna take over from him? I suspect a member of his family! Onyearas & Onyenochis |
I recently met a guy (on a flight) who used to be a Church Minister. He's been married for over 22 years without any offspring. His own family 'pressurized' him into dating another woman who, within a very short time, became pregnant. Overwhelmed with the guilt, he privately confessed both to the church authorities (who defrocked him) and to his wife (who dumped him straightaway). This guy, who is now in his early 50s and highly educated had spent the most useful part of his life exclusively in the church. Whilst his qualifications could open doors for him, his lack of secular experience potentially would mitigate against his success in securing secular jobs. But that's not the issue on hand. My concern is this: HOW SHOULD CHRISTIANS/BODY OF CHRIST DEAL WITH LAPSED CHRISTIANS? Would Jesus have sacked this guy? Would Jesus not have forgiven Judas if he confessed and repented? This guy wasn't given a moment, following his confession, to repent. Would Jesus have treated him this way? If the church turns away those of their own who lapsed (or backslided), where do they expect such to find solace? Just some thoughts!!! To conclude, I've met a lot of guys who would never subscribe to any religions because whatever they do would have to be gauged by the precepts of the religion(s) they subscribe to. If this guy were to be a lawyer, medical doctor, etc., his life certainly wouldn't be placed on hold as this guy's life currently is. Any thoughtful (and not bashing) thoughts welcomed. Thanks, Pty! |
It's amazing how gullible some so called Nigerian Christians, many of whom have been indoctrinated, are. The irony is that many of these so-called Christians (Akingbola, Ibru, et al.) are endemically corrupt and the faith they profess has no bearing, whatsoever, on their actions. PAGAN 9JA:@ PAGAN 9JA: Thanks for that, yeah, I've come across some of those stuff in my ongoing work! Horus:@ Horus: You're damn right! Joagbaje:because we often fail to analytically examine and critique the past, we repeatedly fall into the same trap as those who have gone before us. @ Joagbaje: Your thought process is, in my estimate, so twisted that engaging with you would apparently tantamount to flogging a dead horse. You need a sound, and definitely not the crooked, theological education which the likes of you have, at your perils, been subjected to. |
This says it all and reminds of a similar case which took place in Ibadan some 15 years ago. A Pastor and founder of a church who was about relocating abroad from and needed funds to perfect his relocation plans sold the church building, land, church vehicles, and all the church's assets without the knowledge of its members. Only after he's cashed out on this and relocated that his gullible members got to know. These eventually returned to the churches (i.e. Anglican, Baptist, Catholic) to which they originally belonged. Religion is the greatest scam in the world. Whilst its adherents are the most gullible people on this planet, its leaders are the greatest scammers of all times. |
this is another example of a religious scam, just bugger off with your lies! |
These guys are NOTHING BUT ROGUES. See the smile on his face. It seemingly implies "imagine how stupid and gullible people can and will forever be. Boy oh boy let's enjoy ourselves". |
I'm currently involved in a research project which investigates the roles and attitudes of the church towards the trans Atlantic slave trade. Trawling through archival materials, I must say I've not only lost my faith, but also my trust in the church and the so-called servants or men of god. Religion is the greatest scam in the world and all religious leaders are world class spammers. |
Justified or not, this is the oldest 'profession' in the world and these 'professionals' are patronised by people from all walks of life: medics and paramedics, lawyers, academics, politicians, priests/pastors/bishops/imams/rabbis, school and college teachers -- the list is, in deed, endless. This isn't simply the question of men patronising female pro.sti. tu. tes. There are male pro.sti. tu. tes who are patronised by women 'clients' many of whom also come from all walks of life. Several reasons have been advanced, even in academic research publications, regarding why people work as pro.sti. tu. tes or why people patronise them. Less than 2 years ago, the news broke out that one Dr Brooke Magnanti of the Bristol Initiative for Research of Child Health, University of Bristol, who holds a PhD in informatics, epidemiology and forensic science and is an expert in developmental neurotoxicology and cancer epidemiology worked as a pro.sti. tu. tes, also called escorts, whilst pursuing her PhD in London (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1227946/Is-Dr-Brooke-Magnanti-scientist-34-Belle-Jour.html). Believe it or not the amount of people working in this industry is breath-taking (http://www.adultwork.com/Home.asp). It is estimated that there are half-a-million pro.sti. tu. tes in London alone (http://www.adultwork.com/HomeIEC.asp). |
i can't make a sense of these so called inventions. rubbish claims. |
I AM IN A OPEN RELATIONSHIP WHERE THE NOTION OR CONCEPT OF CHEATING IS NON-EXISTENT. HOPE THIS HELPS. |
so that when the marriage collapses, the woman could simply take off her husband's name and revert to her original surname. she can of course do for every marriage she enters and comes out of. ![]() |
claremont:Claremont, who else would have blown the whistle, a Ghanaian, Liberian or Sudanese? No! I guess it's a fellow, lousy Nigerian. |
bee444:THAT'S THE REALITY. WELL SAID, bee444. BRING ONE INDIAN/PAKISTANI NATIONAL INTO UK AND YOU OPEN A FLOODGATE OF DOZENS OTHERS. CONVERSELY, NIGERIANS ARE EXTREMELY GOOD AT VILIFYING ONE ANOTHER. BUNCH OF IDIOTS. |
mama-gee:Mama-gee are you sick or drunk? Whichever, I'm only looking for those who can intellectually engage with issues. i'm not looking for any psychopaths to dabble into this discourse. So, you may well just piss-off this thread! tonyx4x44:Well tonyx4x44, there is no controversy in this matter. Abraham repeatedly lied. Yet, he is the father of faith. Can you shed light on how a serial liar can be adjudged a Father of Faith? andrewdg:andrewdg, what is it I don't understand in the bible about this matter? |
The Bible is full (though not exclusively) of countless immoral precepts than many are ready to acknowledge and accept. One such immoral act is DECEPTION. Even Abraham, the so-called "Father of Faith", was himself a serial trickster, who repeatedly told lies to get on with his life. What morals can one plausibly learn from this? Is morality logically independent of religions as some scholars aver? |
LOUSINESS. NIGERIANS ARE POINTEDLY LOUSY. |
GNBohr:Honestly, no better way of describing these miscreants. Well done! |
