eme.eco:Not with the way that guy was talking about it. . . More like 500+ to him . . . Check the particular threadAnywaiz, outta una thread. . . Enjoy folks! |
deturla: , but remember sir, change is the only constant thing in life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Get thatI completely agree with you miss. . . Change is indeed the only constant thing in life. If not, how do we rationalize someone who wants to leave a '6-figure Per Month Dream Job in a Big Company' to start working as a Fresher (Management Trainee) in a cigarette company? You're right, "change is the only constant thing" is responsible for it ![]() |

Is there someone here who can do something about these things called 'Spam Bots'? I was in semi-rage and a call away from getting a few itchy fingers in Shanghai to descend on NairaLand on my behalf . . . ![]() Afam clarified it in a call and it was good 2kno I dint have to utilize 'the address list' if an MOD were to be responsible. ![]() MODS, please, there are some of us who don't know how to "take things in a small way". . . Do something about the Spam Bots, mbok. |
Splinz: WAT NONSENSE! SO ADAM CN'T EVN STAMP OUT KIDNAPPING & ODA VICES IN A STATE HE GOVERN? YET HE SHAMELESLY GOES ARND SPEWIN LIES ABT "APC" GOVT EFFICIENCY? IS THERE NO SECURITY FORCES IN EDO, DAT GROUPS OF THIEVES & DESTRUCTORS SHLD B GIVN RECOGNITN?I would have 'liked' ur post. . . If you didn't type in ALL CAPS. Its kinda offensive to the eyes you know. . . |
Just one observation. Aren't many of these Frat Members also part of the Criminal gangs (robbers, kidnappers etc) that they are 'trying to fight'? How will this be different from awarding pipeline protection contracts to the same militants that vandalize and keep vandalizing them? |
I copied this from @MightyThor. . . "Oga's @the top, are wasteful and what have they done to bring money into the coffers of the country?. and if i may ask what is wrong with their current residence? and the security threat that they are running away from, who are they leaving it for?" . . . That's all I can for now Nigeria, it is well. . . |
Apart from one comment, every other post is another classic demonstration of how majority of Nigerians deserve to suffer, and miserably too. We all complain of corruption, bad governance etc but most of it, without proof. Someone however comes out, not in the usual fashion of talk like others, BUT ALSO exposes details that could undermine oppressors in the state. Now, that person is being mocked by the thoughtless elements of NairaLand (and Nigeria) as usual. Biko, tell me why anyone else should expose rot in government? Tell me why someone who didn't plan to join them in looting won't decide to join since after all, 'we will" all make fun of him 'for being stupid' to speak out? With this negative disposition to issues affecting their own lives; Now, tell why the lot of senseless Nigerians deserve any better life than they currently experience? |
This is very very disheartening. I actually have this feeling my eyes are getting misty. . . Even if they must steal, we can't completely stop it now BUT must they rub all these stealing sprees in our faces? Must they steal this much and without the tiniest attempt to cover their tracks? Making all of these things obvious is nothing but insults on our sensibilities as Nigerians. . . Someone even said if this was Dangote nobody will talk? Is that poster one of Tompolo's former criminal thugs? Like seriously!! This money looks like revenue of barely a year of work. Abi? Good Lord! People make more than that in shorter periods of time BUT the whole world can actually point at what those people did to earn the money. While I have my well founded reservations about Dangote this shouldn't even be used as comparison. So much for EMANCIPATING the Niger Delta. . .*Smh* It is well Oo |
Was that not meant to be expected? Me thinks some people are just being 'attention seekers'. . . They should kno its al part of the drill |
I don't know if this is where the OP saw it; www.theheraldng.com/akpabio-reportedly-banned-aso-rock-alleged-dollar-distributions/ . . . I read it there tho |
It so happened that Koko Garri was one of the souvenirs given at a wedding party yesterday (don't ask if I was the one that collected it, lol). If any NairaLander has seen this VIP Garri before, raise your hand . . . Cos I've got a copy ![]() But, seriously, I was wondering who now owns the GARRI franchise since it carries Mo'Hits as Labeled owners as well as Mo'Hits contact info plus website. Anywaiz, come join me as I munch away on my cup of Koko Garri. . . ![]()

SON OF ELOHIM: MY FRENEMY YOU BETTER BE CAREFULL...DONT START A WAR YOU CAN'T WIN.. MIND YOUR BUSINESS.Ogbeni, I'd like to see you try! Ul run pass Terry G by d time I'm done wit U. . . Mtscteeewww #U nor dey look face ![]() |

For †ђε sake of my blood pressureYou and I know exactly who you are to him. . . So if anyone can get him to drop an update, its thee ![]() |
figment232: Ofcourse! Inec is the Umpire hereAnd what are the guidelines in 'recognizing' LAWFUL factions? If any exist of course. . . All the Jonathan apologists should get this through their thick jonathan-like skulls; No Party Will Ever Admit the existence of Factions within its fold! And it shouldn't be in INEC's place to recognise multiple entities within a fold, WHEN they declare they are a faction, what yardstick will INEC use to 'Authenticate' them? Once again; Jokers!!! |
utumunta: With all due respect sir, are you aware of the ruling of the High court sitting in Lagos? That decision subsits and has not been vacated. INEC rubbed pepper into the nPDP's injury by declaring them non-existent. Pray, can something stand on nothing? Can u give what you don't have? Are u trying to say courts can declare which faction/factions is/are legal in a party and which is/are not? |
SON OF ELOHIM: ..........thank you for the correction.....but its merely typographical..but if you want to be spiteful.AM READYWhile you're at it with the other fellow, you may also wanna learn to type in SANE 'letter cases'. . . Or don't you think its offensive to the eyes to type 500 lines in all CAPS? |
SON OF ELOHIM: ..........thank you for the correction.....but its merely typographical..but if you want to be spiteful.AM READY |
figment232: Its like u jst woke up from a deep slumber.INEC has recognised d old PDP as d authentic PDP,in other words there are no factions in d PDP.So INEC can decide to willfully recognise FaCTions in a party? Did you really just imply that #Jokers# |
taharqa: Don't be an IGNORAMUS. An Executive position may not be declared vacant if porting occurs, but d seat of a Legislator that ports can be declared vacant as long as there are no factions in his/her party. That is d lawSorry sir, which constitution did you quote this from? Oh! B4 you answer, isn't PDP now 'factionalized'? Does your argument still stand? |
frodobee: Dont kid yourself. The earlier you quit that baboon work, monkey chop work and work for yourself the better.I like your comment, but I also have a reservation; Not everyone can or should go into business. We only talk of entrepreneurship not because its the best 'for us' BUT because we lack abundance of gainful employment. If you can't stand heartbreak(s), business is not for you. . . |
Licensed-2-Kill:Ignorance! That's all your post shows. . . Which country's Apache Helicopters were at the forefront of military offensives against Lybian forces? Whose Apache helicopters led the assault in which one of Gaddafi's daughters and grandchildren were assassinated during the war? Including assassinations of several regime officials? Including attacks of the State TV headquarters!!??! Which country provided aerial support where Ghaddafi was corned and murdered? Please be Enlightened before making comments. . . There are many poor minds on NairaLand that get swayed by a lot of half-baked thrash. |
Was he/ are they deceiving us or not? God knows all, and by now Lar should be standing hands behind his back, receiving judgement from God. #NaDemSabi |
Amya: I broke up with my boyfriend 2days ago. Let me tell you all the story. My honest opinion? You soooo got what you deserved!. . . QED! I mean, how do you rationalize being with SUCH a hopeless loser? And expect you won't be a victim of his unserious, lack luster, "vision-less", "mission-less", NFA-ish way of life? Can you imagine how much more things many people would have accomplished if they didn't have to do it all by themselves? Someone like that who has no problem with squandering golden opportunities offered by his parents SHOULD HAVE been expected to definitely screw up with any good girl as well. Summary; that guy can never appreciate ANY good thing and its your well deserved fault for not being thoughtful. |
Slim Shawty: Make I waka backwards before?Na forward tinzzz dearie.Unlike some peeps here.*Smh* By the way, Ul probably understand what we're talking about if U juxtapose the achievements of Old Missionary churches and your hip-hop churches of today, , , |
I'm the 1st son, followed by 2 girls. . . And am almost certain at least One of the girls will get married b4 me. For Girls it might be a big deal tho. . . |
Slim Shawty: Annnnd who told ya he doesn't cater for the needy?Lol,whenever they mention Oyedepo or Winners' chapel, some peeps just want to kill themselves, smh.Excuse you? Waka forward abeg ![]() |
I will say this again; The Old Missionary Churches did a lot for Nigeria. They gave us hospitals, schools, portable water and countless social amenities. As at 1942-50 if I'm not mistaken, 97% of educated people in Nigeria were products of missionary schools. What are the new generation churches doing today besides enriching church coffers and pastor's vaults with the Widow's mite? What a shame! Mind you, the old churches did not even develop Nigeria with indigenous tithes and offering! I mean, how much did we have back then? They were bring the church's money from overseas to come and develop our society. Today, churches making money even here on Nigerian soil are not making adequate efforts to live up to the creeds handed down to them by Christ. What a shame! |
stagger: Why don't you do a documentary on that and pay a visit to the churches in question on welfare days. In Winners, I cannot recollect how many of choice clothes and suits i and my wife have given away. Some bring food. Others bring all sorts of materials, given to people who need them. Not to talk of the outreaches.Point of Order! You and your wife give to the needy thru the church, NOT Oyedepo using the church's money to cater to the needy instead of re-stocking his arsenal of diverse luxuries! |
Symphony007: Libya should stop being weak and stupid to get back rebuilding their country. They said they wanted freedom but now they can't handle that freedom. Look how tunisia is stablizing after deposing ben ali. Look how egypt is crushing opposition. Libya is still rolling in the gutter and giving some people reason to regret deposing that monster called gadaffi.Excuse you? Which Egypt are you talking about? In case you're not enlightened, power has returned to Mubarrak's camp, so, strike out Egypt from ur wishful list. Even Tunisia is recording violence ontop of assasination ontop of aaall other manner of destabilization. The so-called uprising was nothing but pure senseless charade! |

. . . Check the particular thread
cheers
