Good leaders makes a lot of difference. The buck stop at the leadership. The leaders are the trailblazers. Nigerians are overwhelmingly good and honest people that have to deal with corrupt and inept leaders for several decades. That will have effects on people psychologically. Americans are not the easiest people either but the leadership is what makes America what she is today. When Nigeria leaderships rise up to the occassional, I believe the overwhelming good and honorable people of Nigeria will follow the trail. My point of disagreement with Mr Knowitall was him calling Nigerians mentally backward people. That's uncalled for.

I Agree with you, Nigerians are not mentally backward.

Good leaders alone cannot make much difference. But with Good Leaders and Good Citizens, a Transformational Change sweeps every sector and can make a country to belong in the first world country within a decade.
Nigeria have Leadership as well as Citizen problem. There is need for a paradigm shift in the perspective of the masses and remodeling of the leadership structures and systems of this country.
A new system & kind of government such as regionalism, true federalism, full resource control, confederacy e.t.c doesn't hurt either. Something gotta give

I hope you stop calling Nigerians backward. What do you gain from calling people mentally backward ?. The difference between the Western World and the Third World to me is simply leadership. Good leaders are needed for the country to move forward. Name calling doesn't do any one any good.

Diamond bank visa card works
I used it to register for my TOEFL on May 3rd.

You just have to create I-pin for the card by sloting it in a diamond bank atm and then select I-pin. It's very easy and swift. I also love there exchange rate

just take ur visa card to diamond bank atm nearest to you, slot it in and then click on I-pin.
choose a four digit pin. And that is all, you can then use it to make payment online. No further registration or any online-banking-activating ish

You can pay with visa card. I used diamond bank visa card to pay on May 3rd and it was swift. They charged me N36,549.42
The registration is easy. Go to ets toefl page and create account.( It doesn't require any bank information at the point of creating account). Then afterwards u can login with the account and register for the test (this is where u will pay with ur visa card or paypal)

I actually created the ets toefl account with my phone browser, so it tells u how easy it is. But I will recommend that u use computer (not phone) Chrome browser when u want to register for the test

They are a million and one reasons.

1. State pays monthly allowance. 6k per month. Yes not so big but better than more than 20 different states.

2. Peace

3. Respect. You will be valued. Like me and my fellow corpers used to say. " Anything wei you talk correct!"

4. Cheap life style especially in places outside the capital

5. Easy to get Ppa.

6. You will surely meet brothers and sisters from ur homeland who are currently serving there. So need to be scared.

7. Good for learning and experience. You will discover that The north is not hausa as most of us think. Niger state is dominated by NUPE and Gwari tribe. Who equally divided between the two religions moslem and xtian.

8. Minna the capital is just like any urban area in nigeria. Anything you want you get. I mean in terms of flexing.

9. Personally i didn't serve in minna. I served in one of the other local govts. At first i was sad. But later when i got reports from other corpers who got posted to minna and the difficulties faced in terms of transport cost, feeding, even getting PPAs to accept u. I praised God for my luck.

8. Made lot of friends from East, west, north and south.
