Richard Branson is an individual, he ain't UK evil government. we know who they are, the British government are Biafra number one enemy. why won't they roll red carpet for the Chinese president bunch of selfish mofos.
Then Nnamdi should renounce his British citizenship as a protest against the British government for being an enemy to a cause he believes in!

Richard Branson is more concerned with his balance sheet than with being in solidarity with any agitation. China has a Ph.D in ruthlessly clamping down on dissenting voices and secessionist movements such as the Tibetans which forced the Dalai Lama into exile and despite their appalling record, the UK government rolled out the red carpet for the Chinese President when he went visiting recently because they are eager for Chinese money!
PoliticsRe: Oshiomole Accuses Igbinedion Of Giving Father 200, 000-hectare Of Land by Pavore9: 5:16am On Nov 12, 2015
The 200,000 hectares of land alone is enough to generate billions of Naira and thousands of jobs for the youth if put under good agricultural practices. I can only imagine the tens of thousands of litres of fresh milk that can be produced there on a daily basis, the metric tonnes of strawberries, cabbage, lettuce, carrots, aubergines, celery, banana, coriander, capsicum. red stark apple, tomatoes, spring onions, cauliflower, plantain......Nigeria is really wasting away in the midst of possibilities! sad

PoliticsRe: Buhari Is Not Here To Effect Change – Bishop by Pavore9: 4:57am On Nov 12, 2015
” The International President of Association of God’s Servants, argued that both Buhari and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) are not prepared to govern the country. Meanwhile, Reverend Chris Okotie, the general overseer of Household of God church has said that former president Goodluck Jonathan would not have contested in the 2015 presidential election but was swayed to contest by the false prophecy of Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, the president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). Okotie said this during a sermon on Sunday, October 25 in his church in Lagos. He said the president of CAN falsely prophesied that Jonathan would win the election convincingly which was why Jonathan went along to contest in the election which he eventually lost to Muhammadu Buhari''.......False prophets everywhere! angry

PoliticsRe: Quest For Biafra: We Can Do Without Britain – Elder Ikedife by Pavore9: 8:50pm On Nov 11, 2015
The last paragraph.....

“Freedom of speech or association does not allow you to roll out war drums and to say people of a particular ethnic group are animals qualified to be in the zoo. I know that there are many pro-Biafra groups and I am satisfied that there are some of them who consider legal means and diplomatic approach to their pursuit. They are not arrested and nobody can arrest them because they are operating within the law of the land. Biafra cannot be achieved through violence or insulting people with reckless abandon and those who believe in non-violence will not be molested except those who violate the law,” he said.

How about this scripture:

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised" (Luke 4:18).

Before you go on to compare the pope with our Lord Jesus Christ did the Pope ever preach the gospel or heal the sick to the poor and oppressed? undecided
I will never compare any human with Christ neither will l further burn any more energy or time on this thread as l have a beautiful life to live outside it! cheesy cheesy cheesy

You sound very reasonable and I will be too within the context of practicality of the biafran dream.

The dream is achievable but no matter the level of madness ou think you have, you can never achieve it alone. You will only succeed in ringing more misery to your land. What is the way forward?

There should be a constructive alliances and bridge building across SE, SW, SS and NC. This was built in 2011 for GEJ's election. The alliance should demand confederacy or regionalism. We should put it to vote and based on the population, I am sure it will sail through.

After 5-7years, the alliance can agree to pullout of the confederacy individually.

Without this strategy, any agitation is a mere early morning exercise.
l totally agree with you on this. Going regional is the best first step then productivity will now been seen in a different light. A region that is not keen on developing its own human capital will have itself to blame! You can't stubbornly stick to child marriages and still expect other regions to be supplying you female doctors and nurses. When there is dearth in female medical practitioners and they have to pay through their nose to attract these personnel to their regions they would be forced to rethink their ways!

We should reach out to other regions and the certainty of achieving our aim will be much higher.

Come to think of it, it will be good for your urban planning because you will be forced to grow your cities vertically by constructing skyscrapers and high rises.

Withing 3-5years, Biafra will suddenly turn to the Dubai of Africa.

grin grin grin
Vertically doing things is the direction my thinking leans to. People who are very conversant with the Agric section know me very well for that as l have personally sent down materials from Kenya to Nigeria to help many start up their vertical farm projects. Go through my topics and you will see highlights of different approach to Agriculture. l can boldly say l can grow and produce 2 tonnes of strawberry on a monthly basis within a space of a plot of land anywhere in the South-east!

So while we agitate, we should be open to discuss practical issues with civility as no one is know-all and no one's eternal destination will be based on being a Nigerian or Biafran!

Yeah I was prepared for the Yoruba accusation.

It's just like the Scottish. They got a referendum but were FORCED to look at the PRACTICALITIES. They voted NO.

They realise they were not in the position to separate.
Nnamdi still holds tightly a British Passport, same Country they continually abuse on Radio Biafra, does it not smack of hypocrisy? Many are choosing not to discuss PRACTICALITIES but riding on emotions. In another thread l brought up the fact that the 5 South Eastern states when put together is not even up to the size of Kogi State nor even up to 40% of the size of Niger State and should people head back home and we have about 25million there, how will such number get to feed, where will the farmland come from? angry

I believe more in restructuring Nigeria into regions with the power at the centre weakened. Let every region stretch themselves intellectually to develop at their own chosen pace as against the feeding bottle federalism that is obtainable today. It will mean that if a region chooses to be lazy, other regions will no longer continue to subsidize them and they are forced to sit up! Regionalism will ginger the spirit of competition to outdo each other in development.

Nigeria today is akin to a school that operates a system that mass promotes its students, so what is the point in studying hard! angry

Biafra is bigger than the five eastern states and whether we can feed ourselves or not is non of your business. Simply support our quest since we are all the problems Nigeria is facing. Won't you be happy to be separated from your problems?
It is my business and have every right to air it. A wise woman should not just yes to any man's proposal of marriage all in a haste of wanting to bear Mrs without having to think, how can this man be a value to me? What are the qualities he possess that would be a strong foundation for the family life ahead? etc.

My primary identity is tied to being Igbo and any extra identity is subject to choice. We have igbos all over the world who have taken up citizenships of their Country of residence, does it make them less igbo than you and I? HELL NO!
PoliticsRe: When Will IPOB Ask Ibos In South West To Come Back To Biafra ? by Pavore9: 7:38am On Nov 11, 2015
IPOB can not decree on an igbo man who is legitimately and peacefully earning the sustenance of his family in other parts of Nigeria to relocate to the South East. The size of the entire 5 South Eastern states is not even up to the size of Kogi State, how can over 25million people squeeze in there? Where will the farmland to grow food to feed that number come from?

Yes, one may opine that Lagos with a smaller space have over 20 million inhabitant but that has made Lagos a concrete jungle and feeding that huge population in dependent on what is grown in other parts of the Country as Lagos State cannot feed itself!
