coma131:this is expected of everyone. So, let 'here after' takes care of itself after life here. But while we are still alive here, we must live it to the fullest. |
MJBOLT:now, you tell me if you know, is a million years greater than forever? ![]() Before i commented i have thought over it, so think first. |
As time changes there have never been anything that remains permanent. Evolution encompasses languages as well, names can never be spared. So, if you are putting much importance to names you are simply just deceiving yourself. It was yeshua when every knees bowed 2000 years ago according to the original greek text(who knows if the pronunciation of yeshua was much deeper than what we are pronouncing it today ) Today, it is Jesus(english and other related) or jesu in yoruba. 1 million years from now it might be something else. One thing that remains unchange is change, there is nothing anyone can do about it today. |
vaxx:Even the hebrew language and a lot of it pronunciation have evolve over time, to what is known as today hebrew language how much more names. Another 1 million years from now do you think that name jesus will still be in vogue? The name will change to something else, but it will still be noted that someone was crucified a million years ago to save mankind from sin with some other name known to the people of that era. So, i dont know what freeze is shouting? What will be will surely be. |
Seun:you are absolutely right here. One could argue that there is no magic in any of the names: they've all been used against ISIS and Boko Haram and none of them worked.we all know that the original intention was not to set up the name for physical battles or some substantial achievements but only for spiritual justification which is eternal life, thats why he said my kingdom is not of this world |
Seriously, names are not important what is this man saying? Whether you choose to call him yeshua or jesus atleast you have identified that there was a saviour with whatever name? I dont know why people keep stressing themselves putting emphases on names? |
You are very on point op |
Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo on Sunday disclosed that he was learning the ‘Shaku Shaku’ dance steps ahead of the 2019 electioneering campaigns. Osinbajo made this disclosure as a Special Guest of Honour at the launch of Five Fascinating Books written by Funmilayo Braithwaite. The VP, who stated that nobody knows what will work in Nigerian politics, added that his friend recently polled large number of votes just by dancing. “And hopefully, we will be able to find resolution to some of the questions raised in our political lives as well; I know that is one of the reason Alhaji Shittu Kabir, Chairman, Advanced Peoples Democratic Party is here. “As matter of fact, for those of us who are politicians, when you see `Politicrisis’; especially as elections approach, you might think there is a formula somewhere. “Kabir and I and are the opposite sides but we are here to learn; I was saying the other day that politics in Nigeria is becoming very exciting; you never know what works. “I can never forget my dear friend in one of the states who just danced his way through the campaigns; all he did was dance; he did nothing else but dance and he won 250,000 votes. “So myself and Kabir are now learning Shaku Shaku; we have to learn; who knows what will win,” he said.

a child questioned his father for wrong doing the next thing, the father disowned him instead of giving reasonable answers to his questions. What kind of a tyrannic father are you? |
While there are so many claims on what led to the absence of the preacher’s estranged and divorced wife at her daughter’s wedding, A source who spoke with an insider, got Anita’s side of the gist on the entire wedding debacle. Here are excerpts below; Tell us about yourself? I am a very close family member of Anita and I have been opportuned to witness horrible treatment meted on Anita since the divorce order was approved by a UK court. It is another example of how our society treats women, it is total shambles. I have also read some articles on Social media misinforming the public on the reasons why Anita did not attend her daughter’s wedding, painting a picture that Anita is bitter about the divorce. This is a total misrepresentation and it is unfair to let this go unaddressed. Why then do you you think Anita was not at her daughter’s wedding? Since the divorce judgement was given in favour of Anita, Chris had vowed to make life difficult for her; as a result he ordered his daughter (Sharon and Charlyn) to not have anything to do with her. How did you come to this conclusion: It is simple Chris made verbal vow within close circles threatening this, he backed up his words by instructing the children to cut away from their mother, he secured accommodation for the girls in London, far away from Anita who lives in Folkestone, Kent UK. This is to ensure the gap in interaction is wider and also to flex his financial influence as a bait in exchange for control over the children. It is very clear that he is desperate to spite Anita. So how did the children react to this? They are probably afraid of Chris, and also worried about hurting their mother. However anyone who has followed Chris closely will note that he enjoys control and would go at any length to ensure he controls everyone around him, even if it means resorting to blackmail and propaganda (this is the reason he obtained a restraining order from the Family Court in the UK preventing Anita from speaking about the marriage). On each occasion Chris is having a ministry event in the UK or their annual IPPC, his church leaders would make headlines about Chris and Anita reconciling their differences, just to attract a crowd and make people believe all is well. Some other time the same mischief makers would lie that there was no divorce. Was Anita not involved in the wedding preparation? No, Chris was the event planner and he was responsible for the finest details of the wedding, including who attends or not (note former President Obasanjo and Pastor Benny Hinn were invited by Chris and Anita wasn’t). Yes, Anita never set her eyes on her daughter’s wedding invitation, people can ask if a mother needs to be invited to her daughter’s wedding? In this case, yes because Chris runs a tight mafia-like organization and Anita’s security was not guaranteed if she gatecrashed the event. There were rumours that Anita will be embarrassed and disgraced if she ever attempted to attend without formal invitation. Anita would have put herself in serious danger of life if she went on that trip. How did Sharon feel about this whole drama? I think Sharon understands from the divorce that her father doesn’t want her or sibling around Anita and therefore knows the danger she would be exposing herself to if she attempted to attend. Did Anita attempt to make up for the miss? Yes, Anita was planning to have a wedding reception when Sharon and Phillip return from Nigeria, however this was hijacked by Chris. He rallied his members to make donations for a grand wedding reception in the UK (this took place on 20th October at the Willows Ilford UK after the couple returned from Maldives honeymoon vacation), who does that? Is Chris not rich enough to fund such a reception? How does Anita feel about this? She is distraught just like any real mother would! She wants to be there on the most important events of her children, she wants to pick up her life

Why will a reasonable christian keep distorting money from his fellow christians using a law called tithing that was never practiced in christianity but in judaism? Do they realise that old testament including malachi was judaism and not christianity? It's like a muslim telling christians because there was one man paying tithe in the quran therefore christians should come and pay tithe, does that make sense? |
Popular On-Air-Personality and leader of Free the Sheeple Movement, Daddy Freeze has described the decision by Pastor Enoch Adeboye of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) to anoint combs while praying for his congregation, as “sorcery” In a video of a 2015 RCCG programme Daddy Freeze shared, the revered man of God could be seen lifting up a comb as he led the congregation in prayers. Pastor Adeboye had told his congregation to come to the program with their combs, which he later prayed on them. He then instructed the congregants not to loose the comb. He said they should make sure if they’re going for any interview or visa application, the comb he prayed on is what they should use. Commenting on the practice, the controversial Daddy Freeze said, “First he asked his congregation to pray to a rod he lifted up, now this comb? Isn’t this sorcery? Or how do you explain this? Using a comb when you need a visa? “Singapore is 5 years younger than Nigeria, yet they don’t need combs for visas because their passport is the strongest in the world. When are we even going to get sense in this country? “In my opinion, Adeboye needs Jesus.”

Sodiquinone:christians themselves are the ones taking jesus christ backward with their primitive beliefs of the existence of spirituality, juju, witchcraft in the face of education, science and technology this modern day ![]() |
nickvanilla:we will do that when we are ready for it, we do not intend to have children for now, just enjoying and making a honest woman out of her?i didnt say she is not a honest woman Do not be deceived for God is not mocked. What you have is an immoral relationship which can bears no close resemblance with marriage. I advice you to repent, suspend all sexual interactions till you have tied the knot with this lady. God be with you.i thought you will make reference to scriptures like i did. Keep saying things without having scriptural back up |
CodeTemplar:mr waec holder, there is no accident that is strange, a careless driver caused it. or external happenings beyond his powersthe external happenings nor get name? Keep livin in delusion. ![]() |

bf and gf is marriage already like that take it serously. I have sex with my gf i am commited to, it is never sin. Isaac and rebecca were bf and gf. Joseph and mary didnt do any marriage they were bf and gf yet they were married like that. Dont allow any church or pastor to deceive you saying you must marry before you enjoy your sex, it satanic teaching. |
There are no spiritual kidnappers or demons anywhere dont mind mfm, they are all imaginations of D. K. Olukoya. Focus on your handwork you will succeed. People fail not because there are demons anywhere, They fail because they didnt study first . There are no proves that mfm members or christians are the most successful people on earth. |

krushdripper:is it true that there are more satan in africa than elsewhere? Because, africa is still under developed which may not be the case in most other continents |
That thing called real analysis or econometrics, e no go better for who event that kind thing come this world. What? Dem won kill pippo |
FrostyButter:ofcourse he has added value to the country in his own way, But pointing out where he has failed in his responsibility as a pastor does not mean that i hate him. ![]() Ok, it was nice talking |
FrostyButter:before nko? Multiply 10 naira times the number of poor people in winners lets see how much it is ![]() How would poor people give what they don't have? Is there sense in that? Or did you see where anyone was forced to give offering?forced? They all give willingly we all know that. But obviously they do it ignorantly because, these same poor people many of them did not go to school. Now, can oyedepo extract a population from the uk or america to ask them to give money continually every sunday? Its not possible, because most of the citizens in uk and america are learned people. Infact, living faith is the first church I would visit that collect just one offering, you tithe and everything as one. And after offering time that's It.no one begs you to bring your money.yes! Tithing. Infact this is the biggest scam. If church members were paying offering, that is understandable. Now the church had the responsibility to educate church members about tithing but they are not, perhaps because they are benefiting from the faulty scheme. 2) there are so many very very very wealthy people in winnersyou can say that again. But are they intelligent people? These are the questions you should ask. Because as far the international community is concern they are still the same nigerians ![]() 3) those that cannot afford the fees of CU, and are members are open to a lot of scholarship opportunities.i know about this, winners chapel have been trying a lot on scholarships, they should keep it up, God bless oyedepo for this. 4) even those that are not member, as a student you are open to the David Oyedepo foundation scholarship. I know over 50 people personally that benefitted from it.this is very good 5) would you rather have the rich people travel abroad to avoid the public school system or put the money back into the economy and industrialized areas like Ogun state that have benefitted greatly from having Covenant University close by.the only industries i see in ogun state are church university and ota farms thats too bad Ok, the bishop i believe have travelled elsewhere and saw the good idea of building a university, why cant he also import the good values of those foreign education and inculcate them to his students in africa so that there will be no need to travel abroad to get good values? Must he rely on church teachings? Because the church teachings have been infilterated by faulty african values and no matter the facility, he will keep breeding the same kind of nigerians with low mentality and corrupt thinking even though they may be financially successful. 7) finally, let me tell you what inspired CU initially. A student with drug problems from the US where he was schooling was brought to cananland for prayer and rehab. The bishop was very sad that about the lack of discipline in universities, the perversion as well as waste of huge amounts to send a child abroad when we can do it here. The bishop is already a teacher, and teaches in a Bible school as well as as an architect in his spare time. If it were you, wouldn't you go for that?drug problems are everywhere, infact we still have graduates from the same CU who are still into drugs, and i think the fundermental issue still remain educating the church especially of scriptures(which includes parents) which our pastors are not doing, because the african society is lacking the family upbringing too, infact it is even worst in africa inspite our conservative tradition It's sad the way we Nigerians antagonize people trying to make a difference. Also, most of the things you see the man enjoying are gifts. When you have wisdom and you solve problems, one way or another, the consequence is wealth. Shalom.our society is very deceptive, they will only praise you and give you gifts when you preach what suit their tradition even when the tradition is faulty unknown to them, and if you are not careful you will think it is God that is blessing you |
FrostyButter:i didnt say they affect the intellectual development of students negatively. Infact building facilities should be commended, but i am only saying these pastors have set up good universities yet the students are brain washed and not intelligent enough to see How does it affect Nigeria?currently, how do see the perception of the international community to nigeria inspite our universities? Are you not sad that we have no good stadium to host sporting activities in Nigeria other than the one in Uyo.one of the reason why i am speaking. If our universities were doing as expected, intelligent leaders and politicians should come out from them and do the needful. This opportunity from that structural edifice is endless.are these opportunities of national benefit or only rich nigerians who can afford sending their childen to covenant university will benefit from them? You spoke about the webometic ranking and how sad you are about it. Yet you are sad about the significant achievement of the university to reach such heights. Are you not contradicting your self.wrong!! I am happy about it and i will be more happy if the school have been graduating intelligent nigerians over the years who can question the pranks of oyedepo Now about the webometic ranking, CU had done exceedingly great when you look at how far they have come and how old they are.check all the universities above covenant and other nigerian universities, there are no pastors in their country who distort money from ignorant poor citizens to build universities the poor could not afford. In conclusion, you based your whole baseless argument on the stadium which in my view is a plus and shooting your self in the leg. But it would interest you to know that like Havard alumni and other great institutions around the world, CU has produced great achievers, the likes of :is it not because these people went to havard that makes them to become achievers? There are graduates of other nigerian universities who have gone to havard and achieve more, not only CU. so shield your sentiment. Ayokunle Adeniran, a US-based Nigerian mechanical engineer, invented an iron that works without electricitymy friend, even africa have been using charcoal to iron starting from the pre-colonial period stop deceiving yourself that this is achievement |
amazingspiderma:you should have started by telling me what i did not understand rather than saying i should ask question. Ask question of what? What the op clearly posted and celebrated which everyone have seen and commented? ![]() Look, there is decedence in intellectual development of nigerian students and building infrastructures only cannot solve that problem. |
Mumu africans, na stadium una they celebrate? How does building stadium in a university translate to intellectual development of the university students and nigerians at large ? Have you ever seen webometric ranking of covenant university and every other universities in nigeria? You go cry instead of celebrating. The only evídence to know whether oyedepo is doing great or not remains ,whether covenant students are intelligent learners or not. Not only in sport and university facilities built. So far every child going to covenant university and other nigerian universies have been subjected to religious brain wash by this bishop and other pastors over time, and these university students are not intelligent enough to detect. Its a pity ![]() |
jesusjnr:you are welcome! But study to show yourself approved first before you come out preaching thats what we are saying, otherwise you find yourself disgracing christianity and the jesus christ you are preaching, infact there are atheists here waiting for you this is not church everything a pastor spew out of his mouth bad or good the congregation will say ride on sir. People not agreeing with your terms like your church will do does not mean they are demons ![]() |
