Thats nice but from a business perspective if they really valued them why did they not give them credit for writing the music? These guys will not get one cent from the music APART from what PSquare gives them. If their relationships ends tomorrow they are entitled to nothing. I know as Ive been in music publsighing for years as a side business and a lot of people in the music industry especially instrument players and band dont know how it works. If they had gotten credit as the co(writers) they would have gotten royalties, now they get what PSquare gives them. A pity they dont know this. Years from now when PSquare is no longer touring, they will have no income. |

YES we are not GAY BUT.............. We are jobless with unemployement among the youth more than 50% We are dont have constant light, we are happy to get 18 hours and see that as a great achievement We cant afford 3 square meals, those that can afford 2 are like gods and the rest are dying of hunger Our primary school children go to school in make shift huts with boards from the year 70 We house our Police men in shanty towns and yet expect them to protect us If the crime doesnt kill you our roads will as seen daily on NL with the now common post GRAPHIC PHOTOS Our currency is becoming equivalent to toilet paper IN the same country the minimum wage is NGN 18k ($90), whereas our politicians make more than President Obama But as for GAY NO we dont want that because as you can see THAT IS OUR MAIN PROBLEM WHICH HAS BEEN HOLDING AFRICA BACK We Africans can fool ourselves, we will cut off our noses just to spite our face. The guy who is talking his people squalor in hungar while he lives as king, yet he is called the leader. They are praying for his death in that country. |
So funny............Actors wanna be singers..........singers wanna be actors ![]() |
In all honesty find her presence a bit of a nuisance and a distraction as well as very unprofessional from the Governor, who constantly talks about being professional. Is she a government official? This is becoming childish. |
NL forum followers, why do you even waste your time on this individual. Its a phenomenon called Trolling. The picture on the profile is not from her (or him). Nor are the fake signatures and quotes. The intention is to rile people. I sincerely doubt that the person is Muslim or a practicing one. When have you seen a practicing muslim or christian for the matter with such bigotry. Also why would someone with such views place their picture in the full glory on one of the most visited websites for her ( or his) acquaintances see, answer THEY WOULDN'T. Wouldnt surprise me if the troll is even IBO This profile is owned by some disillusion human being with clear psychological issues that derives pleasure from erratic comments and the response they get. Best medicine DONT GIVE ANY ATTENTION, then the game is no longer fun for our troll. I dont reply to these but saw that some were getting so riled up I decided to comment. Peace out and keep calm and dont let anyone shake your spiritual equilibrium kestolove95: |
Please dont take offense as I commend that you have spoken with your honest heart so I commend that, but you have just proven everything that is wrong in that country. We have gone so far that the idea of doing right has to always come with a price and we wonder why our politicians steal. Indirectly you have said, if I were to be in public office with all the money at my disposal I will eat it all to hell with the rest. Im so happy that this lady has done the honorable thing and mark my words her blessings will be 10x the 17mln she returned. Her name will be praised daily and ppl will pour blessings and well wishes when they mention it. Isnt it someone whom she didnt know that gave her this and isnt someone wishing to give her a scholarship. I would rather be likened to men of honour ( Ghandi, Mandela ML King) who had no real riches not in the size they could have, but dared to do the right thing then to be likened to the thieves we have with the blood of destitute and poor people who curse the day they were born. Its obvious this man wants to be famous so we should help him in his quest to become famous. Post a film of this fool on the internet and watch how quick action will be taken as it will be bad publicity for Nigeria especially the new government. Title it: THIS IS WHY WE WANT CHANGE IN NIGERIA..............upload and wait for the ........... to hit the fan. |
Seun:Truly my pleasure! |
@ Seun If I may give you some advice. Be careful when stating that a site as a SCAM site. The internet address in question : http://www.standardlifeinvestments.com/ Seems to be a legitimate website, its seems that scammer however have comprised it in their scamming. This is common (using a legitimate site). By saying that the site itself is a scam is not correct and could be viewed as slander since one could argue that their name is being tarnished. As Nairaland is a hot search topic if one were to google scam and standardlife, this would turn up and I dont think thats your intention. |
Did the Honorable Ambassador mention Abacha and stolen money........excuse me sir PMB confirmed that Abacha didnt steal and was not corrupt. |
So i guess crime does pay. |
My fellow Nigerians, when will our leaders learn (and if they dont we make them) that charity starts at home. This is an embarrassment. Tomorrow we will be forming Giant of Africa. Such a situation an any university of learning in an advanced country would cause its immediate closure. Is it so hard to : Build meaningful universities of splendor and sight that encourages our students to learn. Ask any student that has walked on the campus of a US or UK university and they will tell you that the surroundings lifts their spitits to want to learn and be great. Can we not educate and for God sakes pay our teachers well and on time to enforce the learning at the grass roots. Can we not have a respectable well PAID and Trained police forces that evokes respect and honor. Jeez why are we so damn backward. We cant even maintain a damn toilet....a toilet ladies and gentlemen !!! |
BishopMagic:Hmmmmmmm, so based on this one can come to the conclusion that the most educated ppl come from the South South, followed by the South West....................THEN WHY THE HELL HAVE THE LEADERS ALWAYS COME FROM THE LEAST EDUCATED REGIONS!!!!!!!!! |
As our politicians debate on whether or not they should get the remuneration they think they deserve, they should see how Lagos ( though not the capital, I agree) is rated as the 5 worst cities to live in. Before someone jumps to tell me that Lagos is not the capital so its meaningless, I think its safe to say that Lagos is the main metropolitan for Nigeria, as NYC is for America. Source: most-livable-city-2015-melbourne_55d320fbe4b0ab468d9e40ab The five least liveable Country City Rank (out of 140) Overall Rating (100=ideal) Libya Tripoli 136 40 Nigeria Lagos 137 39.7 PNG Port Moresby 138 38.9 Bangladesh Dhaka 139 38.7 Syria Damascus 140 29.3 |
And folks this is where we as a country have totally fooled ourselves. An example: The cost of the US congress ( senators an reps) = US$804 mln p.a. The cost of the Nigerian Congress =approx US$ 360mln. Note however that the US has 535 members to 466 for Nigeria. When you pro rata it works Nigerian lawmakers make about half................. but wait a minute................... US GDP 17.4 trillion, Nigeria 1.04 trillion, almost 17 times. Average wage US 44,888, Nigeria US 1100. All this in a country where our police men take bribe NOT because they want to but because they dont get paid well if at all. Teachers are frowned upon and our kids sit on dirt floors with no windows. Our leaders should be ashamed of themselves, and if PMB is truly a man of the people like he said, he should put an end to this raping of the country. |

I can never understand why grown man well into his 30/40s would want to dress like a teenager. Looks quite stupid if you ask me. |
So when someone says I have been to the Mountain top, they dont have to be Martin Luther King ? ![]() |
Neither, CONNECTION aka NETWORKING. |
Dude get in contact with Spydaman (spyder880) aka Peter Parker. They guy is legendary when it comes to building. Checkout some of his works here on Nairaland. |
They dont earn this per year, this is per month!!!! Can we stop the BS please! ![]() |
Let me get this right, the domestic help is charge for stealing, but no charges for stealing from the national kitty to buy the watch and other things. Naija we hail thee and we wonder why these guy suit up at night and blast people with no mercy, really?? |
Dont mean to sound hard, but is that his catch phrase for everything I WILL PROBE. Sir this is the least of our problems, let Amnesty first finalise their finding of American war crimes in Irag, Afghanistan and Gutmo. I can also careless for actions taken to fight terrorism at this moment, maybe later We need light, education, jobs and security. Probing these claims will not feed the masses. |
It was actually documented by the world press (Int Business Times a.o.). On ownership of assets, unless documented prior (notarial deed), I thought that common law sees what they have as one. I could be wrong but stand to be corrected by Nigerian law specialist. This is how it works in most countries. importexpert: |
During the inauguration and follow up pictures taken, the incoming First Lady was spotted with a immaculate time piece. For those that dont know, its the Cartier Baignoire Folle 18-Carat White Gold Diamond Ladies Watch, valued at around USD 52K. I know that much was said of the leaving First Lady and also that the incoming President would launch a crusade about corruption. Buhari has claimed to have and give little to luxuries, how does this rhyme? Im not judging but wanted to know the thoughts of other NL.

The three rules to becoming a good tribalist: ONE Anything good done by a Nigerian, even if its not your tribe, claim Nigeria immediately TWO Anything bad, check first if your tribe is involved if not, point the finger THREE If your tribe is involved, pretend you didnt read the article There you have it folks, how to become a tribalist on NL ![]() Demmzy15: |
Ah the honorary THIEFS of staff |
ziqqz:My brother though I can see with you, its wrong but its not your fault. You are playing the game by the rules forced upon you. Read carefully what you said... even your mom will question this...why..because these are the rules she and all well meaning Nigerians live by, taught to us by all the previous poli-thiefs and Head of Stealing (not state), we have had. The corrupt DNA has been embedded in us and we do need change to get rid of this. If you doubt what Im saying do the following test: Ask a Nigerian the following question: If you have a President who steals and is corrupt but at least does things for his people like roads, electricity is that ok? I can guarantee you that 99% will say as long as he does something. Now ask that same question to someone from a developed country like US, UK Germany etc. They will look at you as if you are crazy and reply No thats his JOB and no he shouldnt steal PERIOD. Not to say corruption doesn't occur, but its not seen as normal. Here its normal, so though I dont agree with you, I can NEVER blame you for thinking such. But I pray that you get your riches the right way my brother so your mama will be truly proud of you and you can look yourself in the mirror. |
How many times must I tell you...ABACHA WAS NOT CORRUPT, at least thats what our corruption crusader Buhari told us abi Taylor86: |
ibisko04:All what you have said here is really rubbish. Instead of Jonathan government to fixed the local refinery, he was busy pandering to please the cabals. The way to go is to make our local refinery functions, so as to produce all the products locally, not to import products when you have the raw materials and the technical know how to process it to finish products with additional valuables. 32. MugabeRobert: Quote Post ichidodo: Well, first off Buhari never built any refinery maybe he commissioned one or two but he never was part of any team that conceptualize, initiate and build any refinery at any time whatsoever. Now we have gotten that small humdrum out the way tis better for us to come to an agreement as to the fears of these marketers currently brewing this artificial scarcity,if Buhari will shut down subsidy-ironically, the same motion GEJ sought about to initiate but was opposed by the opposition, the cabals and ordinary naive Nigerians decieved in #Occupy Lagos- will these same marketers get their investments back especially now the dollar is at an all time high? If not, tis businness savvy to start a scarcity and sell your product at quadruple the normal rate so as to get back your capital and profit before the new government settles down. We don't see how the blame is Goodluck's instead we have gullible Nigerians to blame who protested against their freedom and occupied Lagos when Goodluck sought to liberate Nigerians from the shackles of the cabal...Freedom,we had the chance to be free or dum(b) but Nigerians were bambozzled by the opposition and cabal into choosing dum(b). Jonathan is weak, corrupt and clueless. The issue is not subsidy removal but ascertaining if there's subsidy in the first place and to what extent are we subsidising fuel. The dunce sat down and allowed cabals destroyed his government. How many subsidy thieves are in jail? You think Buhari will seat down and allow this nonsense continues? The new sheriff in town is more than capable. END QUOTE To some extent Ichidodo is correct. Why do Nigerians have such short memory? Do you not remember the riots when Jona wanted to remove the subsidy. The main problem was: 1 I dont think Jona understood how it REALLY worked, Buhari does, he can dream it. When did Jona ever give such a clear concise explanation on how this worked. 2 Many of those in his OWN cabinet profitted so whilst they pretended to be with him were secretly hoping and planning against it 3 Jona surroundend himself with criminals outside of government. Most of the Niger Delta thugs are in his inner cirlce, hence our man there has been making noise cuz he nows what is about to come. 4 Jona didnt have cojones (balls). I think he was a bit soft and never put his foot down and those around hime knew this, so to some extent it made him weak. I mean when in all his years did you see he was physically upset, I realise that you must act presidential, but I have even seen Obama give his I AM NOT AMUSED LOOK. 5 Buhari has an advantage that Jona didnt, alotof the cabals are EX MILITARY so purely out of respect and seniority they will not like to offend their former commanding officer. All in all, I think that the Oil industry is in for a shake up. Yes there is new sherrif is in town and he knows hows this works, so I have one advice, LEAVE TOWN QUICK |
I can tell you that this is a scam! The bank MDs are giving loans to their friends who claim they cant pay, these debts are written off and the money is shared between the MD and his friend. Nigerians are SOOOO gullable. This has been going on for donkey years that Im surprised no one has written on this. I can guarantee you that when you check those that have defaulted, itwill lead back to someone in the bank. The real losers the shareholders and society. Im not talking out the side of my mouth im in investment banking and have been in banking for over 20 years. |

.50k/month for a year, that's
...this is the main reason I wont even hallucinate on returning the money
