The draws for the qualification tournaments of the 2022 FIBA Womens World Cup were held earlier today.

D’Tigress were drawn into Tournament B alongside France, China and Mali. The top three teams in each group advance to the World Cup in Australia.

The qualification tournaments run from February 10-13, 2022. Tournaments A and B will be hosted in Belgrade, Serbia; Tournament C will be hosted in Osaka, Japan; while Tournament D will be hosted in Washington D.C, United States

I’m not surprised at all. US/European carriers cannot intentionally discriminate based on age, so there is no way they will fire a 50 or 60 year old FA unless it’s due to misconduct.

Rohr has been a steady hand so far, with knowledge of the players and a merit based squad, unlike before where we would be seeing rubbish and old players who obviously paid bribe to get in.
