HOW DOES ONE DEVELOP A HEALTHY SELF ESTEEM. 1. By accepting that the past that birthed you. 2.By reading books that help understand oneself. 3. Take it to God in prayers how you want to let go of your insecurities 4. By adding learning skills both soft and hard skills. 5. By associating with those who are better than you virtually or otherwise. 6. Journaling helps. 7. Accept that there are people who are better than you. 8. Practice gratitude. 9. Practice being happy for people when good things happen to them . 10. Do not be gleeful when bad things happen to those you feel are better than you. 11. Do not feed on negatives. 1 Like |
Family / How Does One Develop A Healthy Self Esteem As An Adult? by PeachtreeReside(f): 5:34pm On Nov 30, 2023 |
Our self esteem can have been messed up from when we were younger due to our circumstances or via our parents, family members, guardians, teachers and friends. With the help of self introspection, some are able to deduce why they feel inferior to others and how it affects them. You would know when your self esteem is bad by how you respond to those who are better than you because they will trigger your jealousy đź’Ż and you will get angry around them or when good things happen to them. You will also try to put people down when you have self esteem issues. You accuse them of telling lies because you only know how to bring people down and try to break their confidence. If you find yourself telling lies about people and trying to spoll their image, then you have self esteem issues. 2 Likes |

Most women seem to be the ones pushing for the relocation majorly for prestige and punishment on their husbands. Then the kids and "better life. " Personally, I feel whoever pushes for it should be able to foot half of the relocation expenses. It makes no sense you insist your spouse sell their assets you did not help too much In building to finance your japa dream. Starting school at over 40 is not easy for most. Anyone who gives you attitude for not funding theor Japa moves is beyond silly. Remember, retirement looms ahead of you ooo. Mat we find happiness, wealth and joy wherever we find ourselves is the prayer. |

I guess this informed his decision to marry a foreigner. I think he should have held shares in the companies he set up for his family then have an Accountant cum General Manager be his eyes and ears. This without doubt make them sit up better and run if like a profit making center. |

whatisthetruth: Read what you wrote a bit slowly again and try and realise that your insulting everyone that does not agree with you is telling of your kind of person. That he went to MIT does not make him qualified to be a Governor of any State. He might make a good enough Architect BUT not a right fit to be a Governor. What has he achieved that should make him a great leader? Can he manage emotions and people of diverse social cadre and tribes? He was going to play tribes against each other and would not augur well for a cosmopolitan State. It smacks of gross low self esteem on your part for you to cite his MIT certificate as his basis for qualifications. Theory and practicals are light years apart. Show me your works apart from your certificate and what do you have ? From your outburst I know where you lean towards and that is not why I responded. I responded for others to see and understand that being highly educated is one thing and being one who has been exposed to service is another thing . LP gave him a platform that he was not qualified nit suited for. 4 Likes |

A client of mine got to Walter Carrington yesterday morning only to be told that his interview had been cancelled. No email from them to give him a heads up. Sad thing is the available dates are in 2025. I guess they have so many applications hence this cancellation. In all these , we give thanks. |

You want to ground Nigeria because one person was assaulted... He was assaulted in IMO State but went to Abuja to ground economic activities to a halt. He now wants to go further by grounding the whole country after Abuja episode?? Not enough reason and not at this time. This is not the time to down tools as a form of protest. 13 Likes 1 Share |
