Nothing bitter about it.
My only suggestion is that it should be illegal to remove gifts after they have been willfully presented to the members of the public.

Or gone into negotiations to get paid or just not taken it out.

ZaraIhua:

This post just took me back to the days of my childhood. My eldest brother in particular would give us a hard knock on our head if he finds out we begged or borrowed from a neighbor/friend and ask us to return it instantly.

Act of contentment has helped me alot and is still helping me till now..... Especially in avoiding insult and see finish.

Whatever I don't have, I work towards getting it but if my hand no fit reach, I kuku rest. I can't come and kee myself for nothing.

Thanks Op

God bless him for teaching you from an early age.

Family / Learn Contentment; Do Not Be A Beggy Beggy Somebody by PeachtreeReside(f): 6:17am On Mar 16
Growing up, one of the things my mum taught which still remains instilled in me is not being beggarly.

It was considered a crime to ask for what our parents could not provide for us. In short, make peace and be content with what you have .

This lady in the picture is carrying a YSL bag which is not a knock off and a total stranger had the temerity to ask her to gift her the bag and the shoes she is wearing.

The lady's response?

I have sisters that will inherit it.

As a woman especially, please curb your hunger or thirst for things you cannot afford .

That is why a lot of women have being made objects of derision and mockery for being Oliver Twists .

If you cannot afford luxury hair, go for synthetic. Do not go borrowing to look rich for a couple of hours.

If you do not have nice clothes to wear out, make do with what you have rather than borrowing clothes from your friends who might be mocking you for doing this.

You cannot afford to buy expensive meals when on a date? Do not go ordering beyond your budget or ordering for your family of friends. That is a horrible social faux pas.
It does not make you look good at all .

Learn contentment as it is the key to self respect.

Do not form the habit of asking for stuff from people you do not know too well.

Save up to buy those stuff you admire on people.

Education / Re: 4 Kwara State University Students Beat Colleague To Death For Filming Them by PeachtreeReside(f): 6:14pm On Mar 08
Wawelexy:
Someone will just come out of the blue moon to video you for the sake of content creating, that's not even the problem, majority of them will frame their victims up with untrue stories that are catchy just for click baits.

I'm in no way supporting them for beating him up till death, but I think there should be a law that prosecute anyone filming someone without the consent of that person, and also a more severe actions taking against those that attached false caption/storyline to such content.

You won't know how painful this is, until you are a victim.

RIP to the lost soul....

Common Sense and Social Etiquette should let all know that you should not film people without asking for their permission.

If you give your house to someone who cannot feed well a house like these ones, they would not be able to maintain the house well.

I had a house for sale and the horrible state the person that they gave it too made it into an eyesore that would require millions to upgrade it to one's taste.

The hypocrisy with this group is funny.
When they were handing out pardons to their herdsmen brothers they did not forsee all this food shortages.

When herdsmen will let their cattle run amok on farms, kill and rape farmers at will they were silent and blind ba?

May we train our minds to see things logically and as they are always.

Food / Re: Say Odabo To Boring Rice Recipes- Rice Pudding Recipe by PeachtreeReside(f): 4:40pm On Feb 13
Instructions
1.In a heavy bottomed, 3 quart sauce pan, combine the milk, water, sugar, cinnamon stick and rice. Stir to combine.

2. Bring to an intense simmer (just below boiling) over medium high heat, stirring often.

3. Reduce the heat to maintain a steady simmer and continue cooking, stirring often until the rice is tender, about 35 to 45 minutes.

4.Some liquid will remain. The mixture should have the consistency of a thin oatmeal but will continue to thicken as it cools.

5. Remove from heat and remove the cinnamon stick.

6. Stir in the vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract and raisins, if using.

7. Spoon the rice pudding into individual ramekins or small containers OR transfer to a large serving dish.

8.Let the pudding cool slightly before serving or let cool to room temperature, cover tightly and refrigerate until ready to serve, up to 1 day in advance.

9.Just before serving, top with freshly grated cinnamon or ground cinnamon. Pudding can be enjoyed warm or cooled.
1 cinnamon stick

Notes
For maximum vanilla flavor, split half of a vanilla bean and scrape out the seeds. Add it to the mixture when you add the cinnamon stick. Make sure to throw in the pod as well!

It can be served and eaten cold.

Enjoy!

Bon Appetit! grin

Why not pray for a change of heart for the Club owners and the prostitutes? Which is a more loving and Christlike prayer.

He moved against the pastor with our everyone knows polluted judiciary, same way he used the polluted judiciary against his opponents to defend the massively rigged and useless last 2023 elections
