Whatever you do, don't beat her.

Be looking at her until her plans comes to light.

Do not give in to her demands anymore.

She has a plan in the offing.

Let her folks know what is going on.

Ego and pride and lack of love for one's State is what we are seeing playing out.

Hi Everyone,

I need your opinion, especially visa gurus in the house. My parents were recently denied their visit visa to come for my graduation in the US.
To put it in context,
My dad has not traveled before; however, my mum has been to the US three times, but her visa expired in 2018, so she could not do Dropbox again. She has applied again twice (alone), and this recent denial with my dad is the third one.
She used 179 days during her second visit to the US, and I think that is why they kept denying her because they always asked what she was doing for that long all three times, she was denied.

I want to apply for them again next year and was wondering if there is anything I can do to improve their chances.

I used almost same number of days in 2018 and when i reapplied in 2023 I got it.

I think if she had replied that she was recuperating from a job stress related job it might sound plausible for her to stay that long a time.

There probably was a red flag in her form hence the refusal.

Or they just didn't want to give as per the quota for the day already filled.

That's why giving the form to be filled by a visa assistant gives clarity. We see stuff you would not ordinarily see as a problem.

Best of luck on your applications for your parents next year.

Hello Everyone,

please I need your advice. My parents are planning to visit for my graduation (I'm an F1 student) in the USA. My dad's friend's son is also graduating in May 2024 close to my graduation date. On their DS160, they plan to use his (my dad's friend's) as the contact person in the USA since he's a PR holder and is more financially suited to host them and also since they would be going there first before coming to my state.

My questions are:
1. Is there any risk in doing this?
2. Does he need an invite from his friend or my school to take to the interview?
3. Has anyone (student preferably) had an experience of inviting parents for graduation, and did it go well?
4. Any other advice on this?

Thank you and i look forward to your responses.

I would advise they use you their son as the one whose graduation they are coming for.

Reasonable IMO.

Any girl dating a man of questionable character needs to be on her guard constantly.

A love-vendor will love-vendor you one day.

A drug addict or drug mule will lead you into drug addiction or being a drug mule.

A ritualist will use you fit his rituals one day ...

A yahoo boy will use you for either rituals or make you a yahoo specialist.

A thief will make you a thief or an accomplice one day.

A paedophile will turn you into an enabler or a sadist fellow paedophile.

Market leaders needs to take market sanitation very serious

Exactly!!!!!!!!!

Most of us are just pigs throwing trash anywhere and everywhere.

At the Mile 2 Train Station a guy casually dropped his empty bottle on the floor.. A Train Staff picked it up and reprimanded him.

Not only Market people who are dirty and that is why I wish they had not stopped the monthly sanitation in Lagos State.

It made people to be more aware of cleaning their surroundings.

Does that mean I can’t get appointment for around May/June 2024
Thanks dear

You can but you would have to keep checking and pray that a date comes out.

I would advise you to lock down any date you see and keep checking.

That is what I do for my clients and check day and night.

You CANNOT get an appointment WITHOUT filing DS160.

You need the Confirmation Number that is generated AFTER you submit the DS160 to book appointment.

Yes you can.

Once you start filling your form, you get a DS160 number and use it to get your interview date.

You do not need to submit before you get an appointment date.

I do this for my clients always.

If she was on her way to an event, she could have worn a more appropriate outfit to The Police Station and then changed on her way to the event.

Her and her stylist are tone deaf and did not read the room.

Even it was meant to get people talking, still inappropriate.

Suddenly, Jimmy who never found any attraction in the "work of God" is called to become the head of the table of a multibillion naira spinning company. Jimmy answers to the money call . Lousy fellows who have Americanized the gospel . In a matter of time, the dreadlocks of Jimmy will become the way of the company staff . Romance / Re: What's Your Opinion About Splitting Bills With Your Partner? by PeachtreeReside(f): 4:41pm On Sep 29, 2023
Every woman and man in a relationship must partake in the bills paying of a home they co-habit in.

That is why a man should not prevent a woman from working or being ambitious for any reasos whatsoever so that when it comes to bills being paid it won't become a problem in the future.

That is why marriages crash when they get abroad.

Both genders must work and contribute even if the other party is wealthier.

Romance / Re: Why Most Nigerian Men Fear Marrying Single Mothers by PeachtreeReside(f): 2:13pm On Sep 29, 2023
It takes a lot to marry a single parent.

Great amount of time needs to be given to communication, patience and therapy for the adults and the kids involved.

I would honestly advise any single mom not to remarry or marry.

Have a longterm partner .

Date but marry after your kids are in the university.

Or if you marry stay separately.

It takes great maturity and patience plus teamwork to have a successful union with single parent of either gender .

Politics / Re: Inflation Was Lower When CBN Governors Were Economists by PeachtreeReside(f): 6:23pm On Sep 28, 2023
My exact same sentiments!!!!!

An Economist thinks of making things better and not profiting for a select few like Banker Meffyboy was doing.

That being said, an enabling environment is also needed to reduce the effects of inflation.

Decades ago, we should have been planning how to ensure that businesses are birthed and thrive in Nigeria.

I pray the anointing and spirit of an Economist falls on the new CBN Governor.
