No be the kind head Taiye bring Kehinde go bring.

Some of us can make it in this country despite the limitations and issues. Some of the people who Japa will not make it despite how promising it seems over there.

Pray and think and do research to figure out which one will work for you.

Exactly.
I just wished we are not so naive in thinking that These Western Countries mean the best for us by issuing visas to all and sundry.

I read with great sadness of the people who having sold all their belongings to The UK only to get there and not be able to work or work enough to pay their bills both in the UK and in Nigeria.

I have seen videos of Nigerians who in Nigeria were well to do but due to several factors chief of which is peer pressure succumbed to this decade's Japa Wave and are now caught in between The Devil and The Deep Blue Sea.

Most cannot afford to come back and continue the lives they interrupted because they do not have anything to fall back on or to.

https://www.nairaland.com/7813973/uk-skilled-worker-visa-story

It was sad to see Professionals here in Nigeria become Carers, Cleaners and I wondered if there parents are not wondering why give a child an Education if the said child would run away to another country to do a job that he or she would not have dared to do in Nigeria.

Inasmuch as i love the UK, the ambience, the well planned settings and all, I am not fooled to think that they are issuing visas out of love or concern.

They are pooling in funds into their Economy and it is a gamble that they have played knowing that a percentage of those who come in will go back without being able to achieve the aim of getting that coveted British Pssport cum Citizenship.

Definitely not a loss to the UK Government as their policies are notorious for being changed at will to favour them whilst putting people in peril.

The cunning of The British is something we need to study... Same cunningness that led them to colonising countries bigger than theirs is a kind of juju in my opinion.

If you can raise millions of Naira into servitude, why can't one channel those funds into an Industry that The Lebanese, Indians and Co are thriving?

Not all can japa, so what next?

I remember those IG Japa Professionals who spurred a lot of people on and grew their YouTube pages with all sorts of information, they arr laughing and dancing to the banks with their earnings.

I wish we had a group of people who will encourage us to know how to build our Country for a better today and tomorrow.

N.B

This post is not about advising people not to japa ooo.

Just think about it and pray we'll before you go ahead is why I wrote this post.

What happened to seeing the person in person.
Lazy DSS.

Always active in arrest to cover their ineptitude and brazen abuse of power.

They don't know when to send a letter or not.

It is an official matter so a letter has to be written not word of mouth informing The Manager.

A letter going out from an office would have an acknowledgement copy as evidence of letter sent and received.

There is no way an evidence for an audio conversation would be possible as suggested by you.
Politics / Re: Why Tinubu Must Restore Fuel Subsidies Now - Farooq A. Kperogi by PeachtreeReside(f): 8:05am On Aug 19, 2023
To remove or not to remove fuel subsidy is now a Philosophical Question of which both sides of the divide have strong arguments to support it.

Truth be said we do not have patriotic Government Officials that is why The Subsidy Scam has gone on for so long and nipping it in the bud is an elusive dream.

If it is restored why hope is there that it will benefit the masses?

All I want is that The Nigerian Economy is jumpstarted so that we can produce and export in billions of tonnes outside our shores.

A humanist would not deliberately do stuff that would harm others .

I can never understand why anyone would do drugs nor supply it.

😭 sorry dear, just tell her that if she wants you to succeed in life and excel in whatever you are traveling for then she should stop crying and move on with her life. Tell her that's the only motivation you need from her.
Tell her that her refusal to stop crying and move on is haunting your soul and causing you depression. Tell her only a positive energy from her can help you forge ahead.
Tell her to be strong and take everything in her stride and move on with life.
Sorry for your loss

1 month is too short for her or anyone to get over a loss.

No one can hurry her up or make her get over it at the snap of a finger.

That is why one needs to be good and kind to others so they can take turns in staying with us in our time of needs.

Well, yes, the schools can do that, and also prepare them for the reality that is dress codes when they graduate and start looking for employment.

Laughing does not change that fact, sadly.

Are the schools preparing them for the harsh work cum career reality of life or policing their dressing?

Am I against indecent dressing? At all.

More emphasis seems to be placed on their looks than on them being ready for the after school life.

If only useless lecturers were admonished not to be useless and foolish too.

At the very least it helps prepare them for employment with companies and government agenices...most of whom have dress codes, and some even have uniforms even.

Lolz your response is hilarious!

Values, ethical behaviour, creativity , drive ,passion and doggedness can do mindset is what students need.

That is why we have the rot we have in Nigeria.

People who are lazy, cannot work and do not think strategically and for the longterm.

Dress crazy but please have brains and have values and great work ethics

I honestly think that this is unnecessary and unreasonable.

Does this help the students to prepare for their future,?

Policing of outfits is not what normal productive Institutions do. Instead they should work on bringing out the best in their students and ensuring that they are ready for the future and society.

Heard Taiwo Odukoya died of cancer

I hope Pastor Taiwo did not die of Cancer because if he did then tests need to be run on his household and their source of water also the area.

I read of 2 neighbours who suffered from cancer and a lot of people felt that the coincidence might be Medical and not Spiritual.

Also, that tests needed to be conducted to know if there was a chemical leakage into their water systems since they lived in Ilipeju which is an Industrial Area.

Your wife is at risk if you have sex with her without being completely cleared.

HOW FOOLISH ARE YOU TO HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX WITHOUT TESTING BOTH YOURSELF AND THE SEX PARTNER??

HIV IS STILL REAL.

STDS THAT WILL DAMAGE YOUR LIFE AND YOUR WIFE.

Do those tests asap and finish your dosage and run a test again to be sure you are completely free.

There is the part of those ladies being DIRTY
AND
The part of the event center not providing clean up of the toilets every 30mins or so.

Was adequate toilet rolls provided?

Are the toilets working properly and have good water supply?

There is a way a service is provided that one will be ashamed to mess it up.

You need to have toilet attendants on standby on the day of the event.

It is even to Tinubu's credit that he has nominated a very impressive guy who was not always a supporter and Bosun now has to prove himself.
