You talk as if NURTW is the only revenue window he harnessed. It contributes only about 17% of lagos IGR.
Where he hit it was revolutionising LIRS with capable hands to tax the companies in lagos effectively, even port activities.
Yes,lagos has always had industries, but without effective taxation then that revenue stream would have just remained as "potential" without Tinubu's intellect.
Yes,lagos is actually being more and creating more. There was a topic today on FP about a PPP between LASG and a subsidiary to heirs holding on developing Falomo towers.Without Lagos having enough funds by virtue of Tinubu's legacy to fund this PPP,it would at best just remained a pipedream like it has been over the years.
Lagos have always had human capita no doubt, but then without private sector input investments then this human capita is useless. And private sector investments don't just come by magic ,it takes visionary leaderships to attract these types of investments, like the Lekki FTZ for instance.
These are the things that booms the middle class of a place and bring human and infrastructural developments, and not saving N75B in local banks in a volatile currency like the anambra sweet talker did and is even bragging about it like its a big deal.
Didn't Anambra have have human capita under Peter obi?Why is the middle class inexistent there? What did he do to change that?by saving state funds in commercial banks?
Or you think bringing out potential in youths come from saving state money in banks or sharing laptops for them or building inferior schools all over the place? undecided
Peter obi has never done anything worthy of mention or revolutionary in his political career in my opinion, that is why the poverty gap in anambra is so WIDE and its best brained youths biggest prospect is to do nwaboy and spend the rest of your life in markets that can easily pass for dumpsites .
Tinubu is a bigger revolutionary, way smarter than Peter obi and is a better choice.
I am not trying to convince you to vote for him,I too wouldn't vote but I just like to state facts!

Your points are noted and if I'm not being biased, most of them are valid.

I wish I could do a voice note, cause I'm really lazy at typing.

But, it's important to note that longitivity and continuity are key to development...

We are all quick to blame obi for anambra's poverty ratio... But in reality, abia and anambra tried inviting foreign and private investors but there were no enabling environment to sustain their longivity. He built hospitals and schools as well as other infrastructure because then, those things were key needs.

Taxation is Lagos major revenue generator. (Google this).
The port activities has contributed emmensely to its dev even as it has given way to other investments that has made Lagos what it is.. Commerce. Let's not talk about having an international airport.

Bros, like I said before it's just a case of to whom much is given...

And tinubu didn't do much with what he was given. He's just a good philanthropist and that has earned him loyal human capacity.

WHAT has tinubu really done for common men like me and you that has no direct contact to him.

It was until fashola that gov schools became attendable.

The only thing tinubu did was to get a successor that made history. One that had an actual working plan which he tried to sabotage at different intervals...

I'll recommend the bling lagosians for you to watch... But please see this movie with a third eye.

Boosting mechanisms for effectively collecting lagos revenues ,making the state self sufficient.
Lobbied for the biggest project in subsaharan Africa in the last 5 decades to be situated in lagos rather than ogun, this will make lagos middle class to expand, thereby bringing more development. The biggest prospect for a youth in Obi's governed anambra was nwaboy(apprenticeship) in a place he is boasting of saving N75B in.I would he ashamed to say this if I was him.
Tinubu and chagoury brothers envisioned and realised the new Eko that The US is currently investing $537m in.
He brought in and will continue to bring in people that will hold same vision as him for lagos state.
E too plenty oga,I cannot list all.
But he has proven to be a visionary,a way more smarter one than Obi.
Leadership Is not all about chanting primary school economics and listing Nigeria's problem that we all know about daily and bragging about one's mising prowess,No.
It's about vision and selecting and overseeing capable hands that can realise these visions, something Peter obi failed in woefully and left Anambra youths in penury ,without prospects.

Very well cited... But it's also important that we add that Tinubu methods comes with a lot of menance.

Let's talk about his revenue generation methods. Hope you know fashola tried to modernize the revenue generation system which failed because the people he used were this same agberos used to the agbero life style, and it will interest you to know that in a survey carried out a lot of them are nd cert holders and above, but the system got outta hand and has so far been infilterated by sch dropouts.

But tinubu kicked against some of fashola's methods because it didn't favor Tinubu's plans.

Ps: Obi did not leave anambra youths clueless. The enabling development we all clamour for was made possible in lagos due to human labor present, both skilled and unskilled. No other state in nigeria has half as much as lagos does... (verify)

Bulk of Lagos revenue also came from taxation from port activities... How many other states have that?

With the amount generated in Lagos every year, lagos is supposed to be more, create more, do more because remember to who much is given...

Bro... I really get what you say about track records and tinubu is really kind, very corrupt yes but really kind and if he was younger and didn't have a better match, I'll vote him a hundred times than atiku or if fashola were to take his place, I will.

Well, I'm still following through. For now Peter is in line. This is susceptible to changes tho...

My two cents.

From Anambra,supporting Tinubu.
Reason?I am one person that believes so much in track record and don't get sweet talked easily.

I'll respectfully like to ask... What exactly are Tinubu's track records?

Because if you're talking lagos records i think Fashola should spearhead this team.. My two cents tho.

Thank you very much.

See ignorant people up there saying rubbish about the government having their bvn without realizing that just because they have it does not make it legal for them to access it.

If the government decides to extract the bvn without the lecturers permission, it's the same simpletons that will shout tyranny.

Nigerians always think they know all, when they know absolutely nothing.

I'm waiting for the day Nigerians will start approaching issues from a position of objectivity and no through personal/political sentiments and bias.

If you know the amount of clueless dumbtards that roams social media, you'll pray for this country...

Why do I feel like both the op and the childhood guy in question are both broke and the op just sees him as a threat because the other guy appears a little financially better than you ATM and that's why you feel threatened.

Well,
Just know this, the decision is for the girl to male, and as for you, focus on your 'at the peak' not so peak of your life career because you'll definitely meet better people, better love in the future if you chase the right things.

Hustle more hustle more hustle more.

This is the problem with Nigerians, we chase money a lot, that's why it'll be very hard to see a selfless politician, greediness has eaten deep into our system no thanks to our barbaric culture.
I made a mistake when I was in Sec. School which am still regretting till today; I couldn't find love in Sec school, it good to find somebody you'll love unconditionally (vice versa) at a very tender age.

Op you need to find someone now, it might be too late to see true love when you turns 30+, find someone that both of you will grow (in love) together.

Don't listen to the ones shouting hustle more above.

50k is not too small, at least you talking about relationship not marriage.

I don talk my own.

Its not the fault of the masses shouting 'hussle more'... The show and flaunting of wealth in this century have driven people to o the unthinkable just to fit in the status quo.

Which 21st century wan hussle with man or go gree stay with one broke boy?

Thank God you married a GREAT GUY

This is a generic term used by women when their bid to separate in-laws from their husbands failed them.

The older sisters are your own older sisters too. You have to be in their good book at all times as long as it isn't against your legitimate interest. As long as they are not telling you to do overboard

There is no manipulation whatsoever. It is you trying to separate your husband from his sisters. As a wife, you have to accept your in-laws as yours and live in peace with them as long as they aren't perpetuating evil against your interest. Your husband has lived with them for MANY years before he met you. He knows them better than you do. You have to find way to sort it with them than try to make him see reason to separate from them.

What transpired among you in the 10 years? What is the recurring issue?

This is irrelevant to the subject

I'd do same if I was your hubby! There is no way you can claim to love hubby without showing same love and respect to his BLOOD!

Your mind has always been made up and you are done pretending! His elder siblings are all he has and you must take them.likewise

Go and make peace with your in-laws and stop creating this arrogance.

Do know that you will never enjoy hubby as long as you are warring with his blood!

If you like take the advice of all these frustrated, angry, bitter and aggressive feminists, and male she-men, NA YOU SABI
Just know that you have to advice someone from two angles...
The left and the right.
Don't outrightly make it seem she is the reason for the family chaos.
There are always two sides of a coin, we just don't know the side that's playing out in her family in the real life.
