I wish i can answer your question but I can't but I don't want you to be angry at all of us.. Lolz. But honestly, I think you have a choice considering the bolded meaning you can reply telling them that you wish not to. Do you understand? But I'm sure gurus will reply soon ok Ifesinachi22: Please someone should attend to this question. I'm supposed to resume by November. This exam is what is holding my admission. I don't what to ask them stupid questions like, can i come to Canada and write it there?
If you don't attend to this question this last time I'm sending it, I'll be very angry with all of you
My School just sent me an email that i will have to write an entrance exam in Nigeria. I will do that in any university or college or organisation that supports such exam.
The Below is the email he sent. I copied the confusing part
Step 2: Write the pre-admissions entrance exam. We are available Monday-Thursday from 9AM-5:30PM and Friday 8:30AM-2:30PM.
For applicants that are located in another city, province or country they may write the pre-admission examination at a local University or College that is equipped to proctor exams from other institutions.
How to find a proctor:
If you wish to write the exam closer to home, please provide us with the name of the Institution, the name of the proctor, professional e-mail address and business contact number that is equipped to do so. We will then contact the proctor and arrange for them to have access to the pre-admission examination online. Mandatory Pre-Admissions Entrance Exam:
1. Who has written any such exam?
2. And where will i find the university doing it?
Please i await your response |

Within Canada, there are numerous ways to PR which puts applicants with a CEC on a very competitive edge against others outside.

Does it mean that if u're still working at the time of applying, ur SOP should sound like u aren't? I just want to know if it's wrong to make it obvious that u're still working while applying for study permit aruya: You have to check your application again on how you stated your current employment situation. I think almost every other part of the rejection is tied to that. |

U like 'however' sha.. Lolz. Just kidding Gurus will respond to your question soon, however , u should state the EXACT reasons for previous denial.. did the VO write the bolded? naijaoyibo: Dear all, Thanks for all you do.
My younger sister gained admission to do an MBA in Canada last year 2019. We applied for a visa (paper route). Unfortunately she was denied visa. Reasons 'She does not meet the financial requirement'.
In the application, I, her brother was the major sponsor. I included property documents worth about 40M Naira. I also submitted certificates of investment with some Agro-tech companies worth about 30 million Naira too. I submitted a personal bank statement with an account balance of about 20M Naira, and a bank statement of my business account with an account balance of 20M Naira. However, my personal account has funds coming and going in very often with very huge turnover since I run a crypto exchange platform. My business account was registered as a general merchandise, import-export, buying and selling business 2 years ago. However these days I just use it for my crypto exchange business when I exhaust the limit on my personal account. So for both my personal accounts and business, we have funds coming in and going out. It doesn't really stay for long. However 1 month to submitting the application, I ensured I always left a tangible sum of 10-20M there. (seems this did not work with the visa denial).
Also, most of my funds are kept in crypto assets (BTC and USDT), so I could not include these other funds when submitting documents as her sponsor. Immediately after the denial, I opened another personal account and tried to deposit funds monthly there to build a history. I wanted to build these funds for 6 months and get it to about 40M Naira. I could only do this for 2 months and managed to deposit about 11M Naira before I had to withdraw all and convert to USD cash after I got intel of the Naira devaluation in March. However, when I was withdrawing the money from the account, I always included a comment on each transfer 'Purchase of dollar'.
The problem here is, we want to reapply for the visa next month. However, I am confused on how to prove to the consul and Canadian High Commission that I am capable of sponsoring her education in Canada. Most of my assets are in crypto and stored in 'cold and hard storage'. My company is not registered as a crypto company. There are no crypto laws in Nigeria currently. There is more than enough money to support her financially, but I do not know the best way to prove to the Canadian high commission that these funds are readily available.
I still have about 30M Naira in Agro-tech. However, majority of my capital remains in Crypto. Also, I am still very young. Does this play a role? How do I go about this? What's the best way to prove that I can sponsor her. |

Hey dear, I'm just an applicant like you o, just thought to add 2 cents. MBA is very sellable over there and was my initial desire but it's crazily expensive for International students. I can comfortably afford it but i chose differently.. Will apply to do cheap MEng. and secure visa first.. May switch eventually when i get to the school or chill and study it when i get PR cos it will be cheaper then. Instead of proving why i want to switch from engineering to business bla bla bla and having VO raise plenty brows about funding and then again, its 1 year which secures less points on the PR scoreline I don't know if I'm thinking right o but chose to share silvamania: Hello
Please I need an answer or an advice to this question that’s bothering me seriously
I have 12M in my personal account . Sponsorship not exactly forthcoming
I am going for a program of 8.2M (MBA).
Should I submit this bank account along side my landed properties , shares and other investments
Or i shouldn’t till I find a sponsor??
Thank you all |

Hello Ma'm, kindly state the documents u submitted. This will guide us.. Thank you culkid: Your view is something else! My study permit was approved on the 17th of March for Fall 2020. My husband also applied for his Open Work Permit in a joint application and was approved too. One time. Never applied before and we got it in one try.
I have not had a bad experience with IRCC but I’ll still say that they have not been transparent enough with the study permit process. I have read enough experiences to come to this conclusion. None of the visa processes is transparent for Africans. Every year we are denied for reasons that don’t make sense. People are told they don’t have sufficient funds even when they’ve shown evidence they do. Some are denied for not having home ties even when leaving a husband and children behind. If we’re going to be denied, we need more than a generic reason.
Visa applications are a racket in case you don’t know. Visa fees are a significant portion of revenue for consulates and embassies around the world. About 81% of applications from Nigeria are denied! You can’t tell me it’s unfair for people to be upset and bitter.

Aww.. Good to know u know better.. I have scanned family pictures including parents awards on publications I'm using all these refusal points as particular explanations in my LOE.. A guru should help me read my letter na and stamp goodluck on it Rollyxxmv: First refusal reasons: Family ties and employment situation
I didn't include any proof family ties, meanwhile advisory says Family members birth cert, even if they're not accompanying you. I didn't also include any employment info, advisory stated otherwise
2nd refusal: the whole 5 generic reasons(Fam ties, employment, travel history, purpose, Finance status)
I retified the reasons for the first refusal, Only for me to include my POF which was 2-3months prior to my submission Advisory says Up to date or at best 1month prior |

Pls share the mistakes you agreed to have made. It will advise us too.. Thanks alot for even sharing Rollyxxmv: Morning everyone, so i took my time & went back to IRCC page and had to read everything slowly and even the Nigerian Advisory. I deduced things. immigration is law and law supposedly have different interpretations. To pass the law, u must have fulfilled all possible conditions when weighed front/back or even sideways. In my case, after checklisting, i was able to deduce the reasons for my first refusal, and even particularly for the second refusal (hopefully gscms notes will agree with the latter). It was glaringly both my bloody mistakes. So my advice to us hopefuls, if you've got time, go back and read & digest things there slowly. You'll find out a whole lot we did wrongly. Still come back and lets all talk about it here. My thoughts though.. i just got rejigged, man I'm not backing down on this journey. |

Hello Frank, pls review my SOP sent to your email. Frankrobbn1: It's confirm today from IRCC news! Fall 2020 courses will be conducted Onine due to the COVID-19 and this doesn't have any negative impact when applying for your PGWP in future. Automatically, you shouldn't think of travelling to Canada until after the fall term 2020. Students can begin programs online from outside of Canada and complete up to 50% of their program outside Canada.
COVID-19 PANDEMIC has disrupted so many plans and activities. However, keep the faith and hope for the best.
It will end in praise. |

Amazing write up.. Thank you Pls respond to the email i sent to u. Frankrobbn1: You may not have seen much approvals lately since the beginning of the part 17 thread. This is because everything has time and season. A time to cry and a time to laugh. A time to grieve and a time to dance. Funny enough, the refusals now can't be compared with the number of refusals we got late last year starting September 2019 - December 2019. This period of time was such a horrible experience for every member of this group. However applicants were still committed to the process and continued with their re-application.
My honest advise based on my personal experiences to prospective applicants who were recently delayed of their visas, is to get up on their feet again. Take this time to reflect, refuel and refocus on your application, try to do something different in your next application if it would warrant you including relevant documents/informations to substantiate that your situation has changed.
Reflecting and analysing the whole situation would help you see your mistakes in good light. Always learn from your past mistakes by re-strategizing and improving on your application. I spoke to a few number of applicants yesterday, having had an educative and interesting conversations with them about their delayed applications and documents attached, I learnt that some of these applicants were also architect to their problems. It's either there were going for a lower qualiifation, or there is no sufficient ties in the application. But that's by the way.
I have already seen so many people backing off due to the sudden refusals from IRCC. Please distinguished ladies and giants, Never give up on your dreams and always remind yourself how important and significant this Canadian journey is to you. The incentives that accompanies it and if not, for the sake of your kids.
I believe this would give you the energy and strength to push further the next time. All hope is never lost my people, stop nursing the thoughts of where you could have been if your Visa was granted, and start thinking of where to be. It is said once there is life; there is hope. You have to find an inner encouragement or motivation to get back up and start again. Be consistent as possible and have this at the back of your mind that "A knock down is not a knock out and you are not truly defeated until you’ve given up."
Ask yourself What Do I Need To Do Differently?: At this stage you ought to have pointed out the reasons why your visa was refused by the visa officer. What have you done wrong?, and what you should have done. This is an opportunity given by the visa officer to start better. Re-strategize and give it another push. Ask yourself the second time “what do I need to acquire, stop or improve on”? in an effort to better your approval chances.
If you want to get back on your feet and on track as soon as possible, you need others. Canada immigration is not something you can do alone, you need professional advice that will guide you towards the right path. If you face any difficulty in your application, or have concerns, don't hesitate to reach out here for counsel. Once you're done crafting an world winning SOP/LOE, try to contact some of the knowledgeable gurus here to vet and make appropriate recommendations in the letter to be sure you've done something new and expecting a different result (approval).
I believe the time for approval rains would come in a short while from now.
Finally, do not underestimate the power and grace of God Almighty whenever you put in your application. He still remains the author and finisher and he has absolute control over the visa officers at the embassy.
Keep faith guys and remain positive.
As always, It will end in praise! |
