Quite simple, uwindsor provide tuition estimator tab on their webpage. Filter by your course, level of study, international status and you will know their tuition cost, just know that their charges is per term.

Truly, Mechanical seems really competitive even the MEng ain't as easy. UoM requires even a supervisor to accept before one can be admitted for course based MEng.

Pls can you state the cost of MEng Mechanical in Uni of Windsor? This school has the highest application fee I've seen so far.. The website can't do justice to tuition as it estimates fees per course. Do you know someone that can give exact figure and duration? I'll really look forward to your reply as their deadline is 1st of August

This is a very competitive program in Canada especially for the thesis option. Getting admitted into the research based of this program will require alot of work by making sure your SOP stand out amongst other applicants from different countries. Also, your ability to convince the supervisor that you're the right candidate which should be given a space in his laboratory is very imperative here. Most importantly, you shouldn't all your eggs in one basket as it's much easier to secure admission into the MEng program in Mechanical Engineering at U of Windsor with your undergraduate GPA of 3.788.

Did you write an exam to get the certificate? If yes, probably. If no, then no it won't give you points for two certificates or more in addition to your BEng.

Yes you can and yes it will add to your point as 2 or more degree when combined with a bachelor's degeee. CIPM is evaluated as a 3 year programme (this is if you pass through the exam route though)

Please I recently got an offer to the University of Alberta for an M.Eng in Civil Engineering.

The thing is, I really don't want to make any mistakes in my application for a study permit. I have read some things online but I would really appreciate it if you could give me like a step by step approach in application with red flags one should avoid.

Also, my parents would like to accompany me for my trip to Canada, am I to apply for 3 visitor Visas (2 for them and 1 for myself) or does my study permit application cover them. Also, with regards to funding, what's the minimum amount one's sponsor should have in the account plus for how long should the money be there before making the study permit application.

Thanks all for your feedback and they are all useful. For clarification, the $24,000 is per year and is recurrent throughout the duration of the program. It is clearly stated in my acceptance letter. $7,900 is the total yearly tuition fees without accommodation.

My brother’s wife application was rejected few days ago due to the following reasons below

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

That's true too. Well, we should also put his age or martial status into consideration, the applicant might be seeking for study permit because he may not have qualified for the EE route. Having a master's doesn't guarantee that one is an eligible Candidate for PR. Other factors like IELTS score (8.7.7.7) is also a big hurdle to cross for most applicants. I have seen in the EE thread, applicants that have written the IELTS for more than 8 consecutive times (75kX8 =600k) and still haven't attained the required band. Also, working experiences for three or more years is also an important criteria that must be considered when applying via the EE route.


If the applicants meets this criterion, I think that would be the best option, otherwise he should stick to study permit.
