Hello everyone please I have questions concerning POF. 1)About 50% of our POF is a gift from my dad, he uses Ecobank so to ease transfer I opened an ecobank account and fixed the money there. I have a letter from him and the proof of transfer, hope this is ok and opening a new account won't raise a red flag? 2) My husband will be providing the rest of our funds, does he need to write a letter and if yes can I please get a format. Ps, I'm the primary applicant. Thanks |

Congrats to those who aced their IELTS and to those who didn't do as well, consider it a lesson, now you know you need to work harder. I would like to contribute my own two cents to the discussion and hope that whatever I say helps at least one person. When it comes to writing the best thing you can do for yourself is outline your answer before you start. If the essay is asking for your opinion on a topic, list out your opinions on the question paper together with evidence to support it, that way when you start writing the points you've listed out will guide you. Also, you do not have to be technical all you have to do is be clear about the opinion you are making. If it's an essay asking you to discuss opposing views, do not discuss both views in the same paragraph. Learn synonyms so you won't have to keep repeating some words. Check out these links, they contain stuff that helped me and I got them from someone on this forum. Remember the race is not to the swift, hold your head up and try again. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Xfu5q4EGavHHquoNXlMgxyePVHoSj1xZhttps://drive.google.com/open?id=1Jo0DnHNs1wzKQhMgiTYoC60zUnTwsU5k |

Ngezee29: Good morning house. Please i need advise on application for express entry.
I am married no kids, age 30, i have a masters degree and 6 years working experience. when i put in my info on CRS calculator my score is 473 without my husband accompanying me, and 453 if he does without English proficiency exams but includes his BSc. My questions are
1. Can i apply alone and later include my husband before living Nigeria? Include him 2. If i have to include him, is it a must he writes language test?Nope, we didn't and we have gotten ITA 3. For reference letter, do they call the number on the company's letter head? I heard they do sometimes 4. When i resign from my current work my gratuity and pension covers the funds required. how do i go about POF? get a letter to show the funds are accessible to you. Best of all, page 1 has more useful information.
NB: Please kindly advise on best options, regardless of my questions above.
Thanks |

Hello everyone, we are trying to create our profile so we can dive into the pool asap but the page keeps hanging and timing out so we always have to start from the beginning every time and it's becoming very tedious. Is this a normal thing or is there a problem? |

Everybody come and hear o...... it is not PPR but IELTS result. After my second attempt, I just checked my result and LSRW 8.5,8,9,8 MOD. I had LSRW 8.5,8,9,6 in my first attempt with BC. I'm so happy because God knows that I am not in the mental state to write IELTS again. Thanks JobsInIT for the resources you gave me, they helped a lot and everyone who encouraged me after my first try, may God bless you all. On to the next stage. |

The first page of this thread has a summary of the steps involved and how to go about everything. Freddiebarker01: 5) Official languages: Canada's official languages are English and French.
You need to submit language test results that are less than two years old for all programs under Express Entry, even if English or French is your first language. Never written any language test. How does that work? |

thanks, but is it possible to claim points with his summer internships? ontarioissauga: Use the come to canada tool. It is practical. M. Sc with one year experience works like charm. M.Sc or PGD or other diplomas-ATS or sth works OK with one or two or three years of work experience. He must hit ielts Gt well oh. LRSW-8777 at least. |

Happy Sunday everyone, please I want to ask on behalf of my brother: we've been trying to get him admission into a school on in Canada for his MSC but I was thinking he could try for PPR. He's 23, finished nysc in January and has been working since. I know some I'm in the past have used their nysc to claim points, I would like to know if two years work experience will be sufficient in these times of 440's? |
