Difficulties can be good at times.They test you in every way making you a tough individual not easily shaken or moved by circumstances. But african difficulties are in their class you know.I mean they are uniquely ours.

lol The pic that came into my mind after reading your post above was that of a 3 year old boy herding goats alone in the field and this 5 year old girl learning how to cook for the whole village.
Their counterparts in the other side of the world are in school and if asked to do any form of work then its automatically labelled child labour.

I mean responsibilities in Africa are learnt at a very tender age.The reason our grandparents stuck to each other was because they learnt endurance early and had nothing to compare their lives with.
Live revolved around the village.

If an african exceeds his endurance threshold the next likely thing to happen is murder. He just cant take any more. The westerner will not wait till he goes bananas. He calls it quit very fast the moment insomnia sets in.

Anyway I think Africans have a higher threshold for endurance than the westerners.By the time the African decides enough is enough,they are near death.

mmh I don't think it applies in all cases.Some patience have resulted into deaths.
People have seen the worst happen in cases where excessive patience was exercised.
It proves futile.They now prefer to be safe than sorry.
I would not advise anybody for instance to have patience in a very abusive marriage.

So even when you marry the community feels like they own you and you owe them.

Yeah its very annoying when people use the name of God in vain.I think they pick it up from their pastors.
Seems like many christian girls in nigeria have been brainwashed then because theirs lots of mentioning God in issues that don't even deserve his attention.
But it boils down to you. If you are searching for a wife then search for 'wife' not a 'christian'.
A christian never made a wife but a wife may as well be a christian so well and good.
But if all you find is a christian girl with no wife qualities then drop her fast. If you do not then God is not to blame. God is not some piece of cloth or umbrella to use only when its raining.
Now how would you have known that 'some' not all are fake if you had not been cheated by one?
Experiences are good ie if they do not end up killing you. You are wiser now so yeah choose well.

@Nayah. All I can say in this case is that one's a couple make up their mind to stick and support each other then nothing can come between them. Not even law.

She's wife and she understands him better.

And it was clear Ms Diallo "never said the words" attributed to her by a US newspaper claiming that she knew Mr Strauss-Kahn had a lot of money, Mr Thompson told reporters outside the Manhattan DA's office.

Those issues you listed are critical in any relationship.
Untidiness,odours,dullnes,carelessness and shortcircuits stain love.Infact they kill the flame.
I get repulsed by people who pick their noses ! Bad habits.
Love is not blind so if you fail to iron out these issues while dating then you'v got nobody to blame when you marry and discover she posesses all these negative traits.
But you know what pple say? she or he will change.Well that is the biggest lie.They don't they just increase in intensity.
Test all these areas and if you discover they don't match your taste then step.

If I rem well,that issue was a hot topic during her campaigns and well some if not many viewed her as a strong woman worth their votes cz of tht bill thing.
Am sure shes got some 35-40 % support from the same pple.Which is quite a number.
The society will always exert pressure and influence you to act contrary to what you believe,especialy if you are highly placed in the society.Its all about image and the role it plays in your career moves.

Now If he paid her fees and really spent money on her then that really sucks.But you know what? I blame him for that. If you are blind enough to invest a lot financially when you are only dating then who do you blame when things don't go the way you expect?
Makes me wonder if the money you spend while courting is a form of dowry that you have to cry foul later?
She is not yet your wife so,do it if you choose to but do not cry later when things fall apart.

This lady is not putting a fullstop to poster's life.Its the poster who doesnt want to let her go because he thinks 4 years of courting is just to much to throw away.
He has to accept a heartbreak and like I said if He cannot wait for her then let her go! Theres are plenty of women and he will still spend something on them.At least he will always have  real life story to tell in future and encourage somebody in a similar situation.
key thing is he should not force her into marrying her.
