I agree with you.Hidden skeletons will keep popping up every now and then, whenever a situation arises,unless both of you go leave in Space.
The life you lived,the friends,the places you visited, they are all here with us and you will come across them in the course of your relationship/marriage. But be wise because some people have done pretty weird things which may ruin the relationship.
Please disclose some grave details like crime or yeah those really bad things.Those will always come back to haunt you.
If asked I would not hide a thing from a good friend.But I guess its coz I know how I have lived my life.

I will not comment on that cannabis becz somebody that I knew very well succumbed to its effects. A very young boy.It messed up his thyroid glands and his neck was soo swollen.I tried all I could to help him by taking him to doctors,psychiatrists but the withdrawal effects were too painful and he kept going back to it.eventually he died.It hurts me to this day.
Just keep you spirit strong.
