How and when do you lie to yourself?

The most common place to lie now is on the internet where you can hide behind a username and do as you wish since the majority of your fellow legions hiding behind usernames are ignorant of who you are and what you really do in real life offline. true dat

Is it not dumb and silly for anyone to post the "Most Beautiful Girl on Nairaland Romance Board" when you have never seen or met any of these so called pretty faces in real life?  true dat
When they may be diminutive short girls or even used fake photographs like many of them do when sending numerous romance scam e-mails?
That pretty face may have ugly legs with stretch marks!
Or she is even very dirty and unhygienic like those who still wear the same underwear twice before washing it.
The guys who want to also fool themselves by voting for these “ghosts” online could be their partners in romance scams.

I understand the insecurities of majority of Nigerians at home and abroad, because of their personal failures and shortcomings and their frustrations. So, they have to resort to many devices to hide their vices online to console themselves.
Majority of them have little or nothing to prove their worth in their disciplines.
I mean, whatever abilities you have academically, professionally and intellectually, prove your worth to the collective wealth of humanity.
Nigeria is poor, because majority of Nigerians have failed to be productive and are mere consumers of the wealth produced by others at home and abroad.
A Chinese student recently cloned an iPad to impress his girlfriend. But a Nigerian guy would have scammed or stolen to buy an iPad to impress his equally dubious Nigerian girlfriend.

Do you know that Nigerian guys and girls even steal used underwear?!
Well, since majority of them still buy used underwear and bras on the street, they might as well steal the ones they know who have been wearing them on and off campus.
The horrifying thought of dating a girl and a guy who is probably wearing a dirty underwear or the one used by another person is enough to make you cringe.

I know many Nigerians who do not bathe after Being Intimate and still want to shake your hands or serve you food!
Of course, majority of them do not even wash their hands after using the toilet and use that same dirty hands to come online and post the trivia of their romantic shenanigans.  

Romance starts from your personal habits and tastes!  
If you have bad habit and taste, you are not ROMANTIC!

Those who don't read are not ROMANTIC!
