PoliticsRe: Reactions Continue To Trail President Tinubu’s Nationwide Broadcast by Penguin2: 4:31pm On Aug 01, 2023
A presidential speech that was supposed to elicit hope only ended up getting all of us further depressed.

The urine-dispensing senile idiot was talking about 200,000 metric tones of grain as if we were in the era of Joseph in Egypt.

He reminded us that he saved 1trillion from the sufferings of the poor. 1trillion that they will end up looting.

Senile bastard!

The biggest surprise can only be a partial rerun
The most favourable judgment I can envisage Tinubu getting from the courts is a rerun that he would participate which would be suicidal because he won’t win it.

That’s why I am tempted to believe the report that Wike is trying to buy the judges to give favourable judgment to Tinubu because he fears Tinubu will lose a rerun.

And truly, Tinubu will lose woefully.

And Peter Obi continues to learn hard lessons
Nigerians have begun a “warm up” protest in Kano State over the hike of petrol price from N195 to N617, naira devaluation, school fees increment and other anti-poor policies of the President Bola Tinubu-led Nigerian government.

Photographs of the protest obtained by SaharaReporters on Tuesday confirmed that the Joint Action Front (JAF) coordinated the demonstration.

SaharaReporters had reported on Monday that JAF alongside the Alliance for Surviving COVID-19 and Beyond (ASCAB) and Coalition for Revolution (CORE) declared their total support for the August 2 Nigeria Labour Congress nationwide action.

The civic organisations in a joint declaration, signed by Femi Falana (ASCAB), Baba Ayelabola (CORE), and Achike Chude (JAF) after a meeting on Sunday, which was made available to SaharaReporters on Monday, had said they would join in the protest until victory was achieved.

Titled: "August 2nd, 2023 as the beginning of nationwide resistance against fuel price hike and anti-poor policies is sacrosanct," the civic organisations had said that the minimum aim of the forthcoming struggle is the reversal of the "criminal hike of petrol from N617 to N195, reversal of other criminal policies like fee hike in public tertiary institutions, devaluation of the naira" which they noted had made life unbearable on Nigerian masses.

"We support the decision of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) to call Nigerian workers and poor masses out on protest starting from Wednesday, August 2, 2023, against the wicked and neoliberal policies of the President Tinubu government, including, the severe hike in the price of petrol and devaluation of the naira."

The organisations tasked the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) with unity in their engagement with the Federal Government and encourage them to jointly mobilise for mass action.

I didn't see anywhere the Justice mentioned 'the young ones are watching', or words to that effect.

He said he would allow it 'because the whole nation is attentive'.

PDP strategy of filing 3 different final replies is not the usual practice and you can see the Justices were irritated and only allowed it in order to avoid controversy.

One of the Justices even mentioned the number of pages of each of the 3 PDP 'final' written addresses. Is there any other way of saying 'this is ridiculous'. I don't think so.

Irritating Justices in this way in the very last acts of a long case is poor strategy because that irritation will likely stay in their minds as the begin to write their judgements in the coming days and weeks.
Go back and read the section I bolded.

I even made it bold but your support for Tinubu still blinded your eyes.

Mr Man. It is high time you engage yourself with something that can add value to you and your family. Even though I know it is not possible, but let's even assume Obi becomes the president of the federal republic of Nigeria, God forbid. It is only Obi's sponsors that will benefit from such an arrangement and I am almost sure it may not last up to 6 months. I am saying this because by the time it is clear who Obi is truly representing, every Nigerian will be against him. So I beg you in the name of God, you don't seems to be a politician so you are likely not going to understand the game they are playing. Please do everything legally possible to take care of yourself and your family, if everyone does so Nigeria will be a beautiful place to live. Remember, Nigerian politicians are friends and business partners. They do almost everything together, they dine together, they all rig elections together, they steal our money together and they deceive us together. Peace be unto you.
So we should focus on our individual lives and allow them ruin the country?

If Obi is representing a certain interest, whose interest is Tinubu representing? Interest of the general public?

Politics“Because The Young Ones Are Watching”. PEPT Chair Says As He Allows PDP Final Ad by Penguin2(op): 1:13pm On Aug 01, 2023
The chairman of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, Justice Tsammani has allowed Atiku’s Lawyer, Chief Chris Uche, SAN, to file a reply to the reply of Tinubu and APC’s lawyers to his response to their written address.

To make it clearer for easier understanding, at the conclusion of trial, the respondents (INEC, Tinubu, Shettima and APC) were supposed to file a written address.

The petitioners (Atiku, Obi, PDP and LP) would then respond to the respondents final written address.

The respondents will then file a reply to the response of the petitioners and that would be the end.

But coming to court today, PDP’s lead counsel, Chris Uche filed another reply to the reply of the respondents which is a departure from tradition.

After an argument between the PDP lead counsel and the learned judges, the chairman of the tribunal in his wisdom said he was allowing the reply to stand because “the young ones are watching”.

Who said our little push and pressure is not working?

With trials and adoption of written addresses concluded today, we now await the date of judgment while trusting that the judiciary will give an impartial and unbiased judgment.

Still, All Eyes On The Judiciary!

Find full exchange below

Hmmm… Wahala in the courtroom.

Justice Tsammani and PDP SAN Uche are going at each other

Tsammani: Chief Uche, why did. You file a reply. You are not supposed to file a reply.
You are a petitioner and entitled to file final address presenting your case and not file a reply to their own address
You don’t have right of reply.

Hmmmmm

PDP: You said we can file this reply on 5th July

Tsammani: Learned silk it’s a matter of common sense

Tsammani: You filed 160 pages
Your final written address is 40 pages
Another one is 42 pages and another final address here again is 120 pages

PDP: They are different cases to different final address

Tsammani: Then you file one written address

PDP: No my lord it has never been done like that, they are different respondents and they all filed on different days on different issues, why would you say I should file one address, I don’t agree to that.

“The whole court is murmuring
Hmmm what sort of technicality is this”

Tsammani: So if you have 10 respondents you will file 10 final addresses

PDP: I will file addresses to all of them because they filed on different dates and different issues, so I have to address them all according
The proper thing we have always done is respond to all of them.

Tsammani: Chief Uche, I have pointed out to you what I want and that is it

PDP: My lords, they filed separately

Justice Bolaji: So you filed 3 replies, I have not seen where a plaintiff would file reply to defendants reply.

PDP: My lord we were definite on what we wanted to do abinitio and we deliberately replied to all of them separately because they boxed us from different angles, so we had to box them each.

Tsammani: So you have 3 different ones here and also a letter.

SAN Uche: Oh, okay take out the letter and leave our 3 addresses

Justice Bello: Learned silk, the law states final address and not final addresses you should have responded to it together.

Justice Tsammani: So you are saying the letter can go.

SAN Uche: Yes my lord, that one is just an explanation but the 3 others must stay, it is only right that we address them each finally.

Justice Tsammani: Okay, I will allow it, because this matter is critical and the whole nation is attentive and I don’t want people to leave here and start saying another thing because when we leave here now don’t be surprised what we would read out there, you know all these our young ones.

Ahn Ahn, it’s like Justice Tsammani is on Twitter oh
Who are the young ones he’s referring to

PoliticsRe: Giving Wrong Judgment Will Attract God’s Punishment – Primate Ayodele To Judges by Penguin2: 12:16pm On Aug 01, 2023
Ha!

The supporters of the urine-dispensing old senile idiot don’t care.

They even want the judges to set the constitution on fire if that’s what it would take to retain Tinubu.

They are so confident that the judges are already washing Tinubu’s urine infested pampers that they beat their chest and say that “no man born of a woman can unseat Tinubu.”

Are they judges already washing Tinubu’s urine infested pampers? We will see when they give their judgment.

But my happiness is that it doesn’t matter what their ruling is, the world will forever know who won the 2023 presidential election in Nigeria.

It’s just like the way the world knows that MKO Abiola won 1993 presidential election. And no amount of rationalization or anything will ever change that.

Everyone, and I mean little countries that dared not breathe when Nigeria sneezes in the past, are calling the bluff of the urine-dispensing senile idiot who organized a civilian coup and felt he could police other coup plotters.

That’s what you get when you are illegitimate.

These countries saw the Nigerian elections, they followed it, they had their representatives on ground and they know how the election was blatantly rigged to enthrone the stupid drug lord called Tinubu. That’s why no one is respecting his leadership.

Trust me if Obi was President and leading ECOWAS, the reaction of these countries would have been different because they would have respected Obi’s authority as drawn from his legitimacy.

You fools can continue to support an illegitimate criminal, this is just the beginning of the insults that will follow.
