chatinent: I've not seen Kwankwaso in any southern area. Well, he knows he can't win...I guess he'll sell his popularity and loyalists to the highest bidder.
I still believe Kwankwaso might step down for Tinubu.
But if he doesn’t, then know that he’s deliberately building his structure and popularity in preparation for next election.
He’s probably trying to toe Buhari’s trajectory to power.
Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, the Labour Party Vice Presidential running mate, was on Channels Television 2023 Verdict Programme earlier this evening and took time to berate the two leading political parties of APC and PDP for failing to take the political and religious sensibilities of Nigerians into cognizance in choosing the presidential and Vice Presidential candidates of their respective parties.
On APC’s Muslim Muslim ticket, he argued that Nigeria is not Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where a political party will fly an all Muslim ticket to the exclusion of Christians who form huge part of the Nigerian population.
Similarly, he came hard on the PDP for giving her ticket to another northerner after the tenure of a northerner in power.
One would agree that Yusuf Datti has been visible and vocal of recent and fearless in articulating his thoughts while the candidates of other parties and their running mates seem to be running from the media.
When last did watch an interview granted by Shettima or Okowa for instance?
LocalStandard1: At 94 years, and soon to be 95, I do not expect Pa Ayo Adebanjo to still be so active and mentally sound. I mean, since Peter Obi started his Presidential campaigns and activities this Papa has been up and going with him even to some rallies, acting and still speaking sensibly.
He just oversaw the adoption of Peter Obi as Boot Party's preferred Presidential Candidate. I see him walking on his own, stand for the national anthem, speaking for an extended time. How's it possible at almost a wooping century years of age?
How's it still possible, considering someone else at "70 years" is having all the age related troubles at far younger age! Is it just nature or is it self nurturing?
Well, the other man you are talking about is lying.
FreeStuffsNG: Haba!!! We will never ever covet another people's property. We were not raised that way by our parents and forebears and as a matter of fact our Yoruba forebears showed great example during the Nigerian civil war when all properties and rents were returned to our defeated returnng Igbo brothers and sisters. Just call the ill trained insultive guys from your side to order too.
I will always do the right thing and influence others to do the right thing. We are Nigerians. May we not experience war again.
2mch: Like those Bandits currently being killed in Anambra state. Comprising of Yahoo boys and business men from abroad. Business men during Obi’s time like Bonaventure Mokwe?
No. Like the Unknown Gun Men you guys always rejoice at their killing.
How many times have you asked for the court order used in killing the Unknown Gun Men🤔?
inoki247: LoL you guys just choose to be daft or what do State Govt needs FG before they can confiscate people's property who they issue out C of O....
You think if Lagos state wants to seize your properties they need the FG backing you people just dey display daftness on a first class level ...
Nobody is confiscating anybody's property so you people should find another propaganda....
Lagos State Government would have done that but they are scared of the backlash it will generate and that such move might hurt the ambition of Tinubu in a time like this.
But everything changes when Tinubu has gotten the presidency and there’s no consequences for whatever his stooge does in Lagos.
I’ve always said it that you guys lack foresight. You barely see beyond your noses🤦
You just confirmed to us that he's a killer worst than Adolf Hitler.
Say no to draconian rule.
So when Nigerian soldiers meet Bandits and Boko Haram members who have refused to take the govt’s olive branch in the bush, they (soldiers) should first go and get court order before engaging the bandits even when the bandits are killing them?🤔
Their prayer right now is for Tinubu to win so that they can confiscate Igbo properties in Lagos and send us back to the east or buy back our properties by paying billions of naira to them.
Asgard13: .. and he has something special or interest in imo state in particular
One of his campaigns in imo with Chuba Okadigbo .. he swear and made a promise to hand over to Okadigbo as next after him.
But wetin we know then.. his hatred for igbos has made us see him as Lucifer in human clothings Based on experience of 84’ and as Abacha petroleum trust fund director .
Not forgetting his Islamic stance .. during those Obasanjo years
And till today, Chuba Okadigbo is still Buhari’s favorite Nigerian.
Reason he has not allowed his widow rest since he came to power.
Buhari keeps appointing the old woman from one position to another.
The truth is that Buhari always wanted friendship with the Igbos but the Igbos never wanted him which is why he now seems to have deep seated animosity towards the Igbos.
So I was thinking deeply about recent happenings in the country as 2023 elections reaches its climax.
One of the reasons I engaged in this thinking was the narrative of Tinubu supporters of how Buhari hates the Igbos and would not want to hand over to an Igbo man. Trust me I used to hold this line of thinking too.
But during my time of going through my thoughts, I realized that Buhari has always courted and wanted an alliance with the Igbos but it is the Igbos who hate him and have always rebuffed his outstretched arm for a handshake.
It is not unnatural that when you extend a hand of friendship to someone and they refuse it, not once but twice, you would tend to harbour some resentment against such a person or people. That’s what Buhari felt for the Igbos.
It was the rejection of the Igbos that him try the Yoruba as second choice.
You doubt my claim? In 2003, the first time Buhari contested an election, he went for an alliance with the Igbos by choosing an Igbo running mate. But the Igbos didn’t look him twice.
Still convinced on his choice of alliance with the Igbos, Buhari ignored his rejection by the Igbos in 2003 and went for another Igbo running mate in 2007 but was rejected again.
That was when frustration drove him to look towards the Yoruba in 2011 and 2015.
But isn’t it obvious from the foregoing that Buhari originally preferred an alliance with the Igbos but were just rejected by the Igbos which makes nonsense the claim that Buhari would not want to hand power to an Igbo man?
Listen to what Hadi Sirika, the Minister of Aviation and one of the closest persons to Buhari, had to say about what Buhari truly thinks about the Igbos and judge for yourself. Sirika was speaking at his condolence visit for Mbazulike Amechi.
Gentino: I'm unapologetically OBIdient but if this video is real, it's very appalling, unprofessional, shameful and disgraceful from the Nigerian army. They should maintain non-partisanship
It’s not real.
It was edited.
Look at their lip movement and dance step, it’s different from the song.
A closer and critical study of the video will tell you that their lip movement and dance step is different from what whoever made the video claim they are singing.
