So, what exactly is your point again?
My point, sir, is that Lekki Deep Seaport is not Tinubu’s project and should not be used as one of his achievements in Lagos when campaigning for him.

@ emboldened

You will write anything just to justify your wishes, won't you?

In 2015, a large number of PDP governors from the north defected to Apc and made sure PDP was buried in the North.

Get your facts straight.

You are the only one being honest with your brothers from the East.

Even the stakeholders are divided between Tinubu and Atiku.
I’m always reasonable and never emotional.

I speak based on facts.

But some of you would never agree to narratives that don’t suit your sentiments even when the facts are staring at your face.

Which Kwankwaso? Kwankwaso that will collapse structure for Atiku days before election in exchange for oil well?
Why would Kwankwaso collapse his structure for Atiku for oil well when he can get on the LP/NNPP merger and become Vice President, God willing, and decide who gets oil well?

No be juju be that?

Just answer me one question, as a Benue indigene on ground in Benue, who, as of today, do you think Benue people will vote for in the presidential elections?

It will do you good to drop your biases and sentiments and answer this question based on reality on ground.

I’m waiting.

Buhari is biggest stakeholder in apc from the north with cult votes

He worked for his preferred candidate and almost forced a consesus that wasn't tinubu until his plan failed, buhari was automatically supposed to choose tinubu candidate like tinubu did in 2015 for him, buhari have ignored it and have become uninterested

Buhari signed electoral law which he didn't use for himself but for tinubu to stop electoral fraud.

Buhari have promised free and fair election without interference, how else would buhari show that he the biggest northernern stakeholder in apc have ditched tinubu
The north don’t even like Buhari again.

His influence has waned dangerously.

And trust me when I tell you that the north hates Tinubu.

Na even the masses atiku get more, kwanwaso base is kwankwasiya

Kwankwasiya is like a cult, you can't be a supporter without people knowing

Na only Kano and some parts of katsina kwankwasiya dey
The northern masses do not seem to fancy Atiku, at all.

And considering the realities on ground right now, do you see Yobe and Borno people voting Atiku in northeast? Even Gombe might go to APC.

Now, in Northwest, everyone agrees Kwankwaso has taken Kano, at least to a large extent, his strengths in other northwest states is what can be debated but I see him coming second all Northwest states that he doesn’t win. These northwest states would be split into three between Kwankwaso, Atiku and Tinubu.

That is all for Atiku. Where else is he sure of?

But that’s the reality you don’t wanna admit.

Do some of you people have issue with development and progress of others?
Of course I do agree that Tinubu contributed his quota towards building Lagos.

But are you telling me Governors after Tinubu, from Fashola to Ambode, have not had minds of their own but only implementing Tinubu’s ideas?

Again, most of the things you guys ascribe to Tinubu was conceived years before him.

Like the Lagos Light Rail that was conceived by Pa. Jakande but was canceled by Buhari (a history y’all ignored to vote for him).

Tinubu drove investments to Lekki axis, yes, but that does not mean that everything that happens in that axis is due to Tinubu.

How will you say something where 3 people have stakes in belong to just one of them? Is that how the logic work in Ibo land?

Below is OBJ himself praising Asiwaju when the port was birthed and a nonentity online is coming to claim Lagos state has no stakes in it.

Even the 4th screenshot you uploaded yourself clearly said Lagos state government is a shareholder. So that is why I am questioning your sanity.
Britain has stake in Egyptian Said Seaport (I bet you never knew) does that make Britain the owner of Said Seaport in Egypt?

There are many other stakeholders in First bank, but because of a difference of “.5” shares, Otedola is the owner of First Bank.

Anambra has shares in International Breweries, does that make Anambra the owner?

Make una dey try get sense

NNPC is now a shareholder in Dangote Refinery, does it mean NNPC or Federal Government now owns Dangote Refinery?

They would support him like south south supported goodluck Jonathan in the hope that should incase Tinubu dies, a Northern Christian would become President
Expecting Middle Belters to vote for Tinubu because of Lalong is like expecting the Southeast to vote a candidate because of Okorocha.

Lalong has mismanaged the crisis going on in Plateau. The people see him as siding with the Fulani invaders and has never stamped his foot on the ground to say enough is enough like what Ortom did in Benue.

So, no, North Central Christians won’t vote Tinubu because of Lalong.

Why not hold your region political leaders accountable for being clueless for not thinking of developing your region.

On the contrary my dear friend, nobody has issues with the Lekki Deep Seaport being situated in Lagos per se.

What we are taking exception of is some of your brothers calling the seaport a Lagos Government owned project and how it was started by Tinubu.

I’m sure if we start to ascribe the Anambra international Airport to Obi you people will say no that it was built by Obiano even though Obi conceived the project and signed some first phase of agreements and even sited the Airport which Obiano relocated - an action that did not go down well with most Ndi Anambra.

Yes.

After report emerged of Lekki Deep Seaport receiving its first vessel, some overzealous and uninformed Tinubu supporters started tagging the seaport a Lagos State project. Some have even gone as far as attributing it to Tinubu as one of his brainchild.

But I’m here to set the records straight that the project belongs to a Chinese Consortium and not Lagos government. Specifically, the project is being developed by Tolaram and China Harbour Engineering Company with the NPA and Lagos State Government as mere shareholders.

One supporter argued that because it’s in Lekki, then it’s Lagos Government Project irrespective of who is building it, and I want to ask, is Dangote Refinery a Lagos State Government Project because it is sited in the same Lekki?

Tinubu supporters should look for better things to campaign with and not lies by ascribing a project that was started in 2011 to Tinubu that left office in 2007.

Tinubu cannot even win the elections with only votes from the SW and NE to begin with.

Remember that Peter Obi's major stronghold of the SS/SE is a larger voting block compared to Tinubu's SW.Obi is also likely to win the NC
Lol!

You should know I’m a very OBIdient Nigerian. Just merely reporting what is going on.

With the unprecedented voter turnout that is likely to happen in the southeast in 2023, I can assure you that only votes from Southeast will dwarf whatever Tinubu will score in Southwest; especially when you recall that both Atiku and Obi will score considerable votes in the Southwest.

The Lekki deep seaport is a Lagos State govt project through PPP arrangement. Other state governments need to wake up to their responsibilities too and stop outsourcing their people to Lagos govt. And while it is also good to build an airport in Lekki, both projects can run concurrently without one having to go for the other. I am sure there is already a plan to build an airport in Lekki anyways.

Search for Lekki Airport on Google to learn about the project.
Lekki Deep Sea Port is the project of Tolaram and China Harbour Engineering Company. Lagos State and NPA are mere shareholders.
