Fools have started engaging in foolery again. They are so triggered by the declaration of Igbanke people that they are Igbos that they are now issuing useless statements in the name of inexistent groups. You lots did more than this when Azuta Mbata emerged Ohaneze President. They kept organizing stupid media conference for an illiterate who couldn’t read a written statement who called himself President of Ogbakor Ikwerre. Where is he today? In oblivion! You guys can keep barking, the caravan will keep moving. |
lionshare:First of all, it’s very wrong to try to determine the population of Christians and Muslims in the country through voting figures alone. But even with that, the only dominant Muslim regions here are Northwest and Northeast. In North Central, only Niger and maybe Kwara boasts of higher population of Muslims than Christians. Now, if we go back to Northwest and Northeast, Southern Kaduna, Southern Borno, Southern Gombe and some parts of Adamawa are areas with high Christian population. Do I need to remind you that Taraba is fully Christian State with nearly 80 percent of Christian population? In the Southwest, only Osun and Oyo can boast considerable Muslim population the rest of the states are Christians. The point I’m trying to make is that when properly mirrored and with proper and reliable census, you will find out that Christians are of greater majority in Nigeria than Muslims. |
lionshare:We are not talking “core Southwest states” or “outliers”, we talking Christian population. And I wanted to remind you the number of Christian States that added to Tinubu’s numbers and the one that added to Atiku’s numbers. You see I purposely left Osun because I believe that Muslims and Christians are evenly spread in the state. My point is that your attempt to suggest that Muslims are of more majority in Nigeria is grossly erroneous. |
erniok:Fantastic of you to cite Forbes. Now, Forbes tells you who the richest person is and goes ahead to tell you the second and so on. If anyone disagrees with Forbes list, isn’t he supposed to come up with his own list? |
lionshare:This has to be the most erroneous assumption of the century. I’m sure the Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa that Atiku won are also Muslim Majority? And the Benue, Ekiti, Ondo, Ogun and Rivers States that Tinubu won are also Muslim majority abi? You should have taken mathematics and logic more serious during your school days so you don’t do this to yourself in public. |
erniok:Pathetic! My reference to “unstated assumption” was to tell you that you disputing my assertion that Tunde Ednut is the most influential influencer in Africa means, by assumption, that you are saying that he is not what I said he is even without you saying it. Do you understand it now? Or do I have to convert it to nursery rhymes? And asking for evidence of Tunde Ednut’s influence means what? You want to see the number of his followers? Or the number of people he has made stars? Or what exactly? |
Bhella5:And thence comes my question, why would Tunde Ednut go with the minority rather than the majority if Tinubu supporters were truly in the majority? |
lionshare:Yes. You remember “there is no polling unit on social media”? You lots said it a lot before the 2023 elections but after reality check after the results, una no dey talk am again. When you saw polling results say Obi will win Lagos, you people said it was online polls but what happened? E go still shock una again. |
erniok:If there’s anyone that has been clowning here it’s definitely not me. If I say Donald Trump is the most powerful man in the world and you say it’s not true, doesn’t the onus fall on you to say who is more powerful? When you have done that, then we can now compare the data between Trump and your guy. That’s what I expected from you as regards Tunde but you would display the hollowness of your upper than just say a name that you think is bigger than Tunde in influencing. |
erniok:I said he is the most influential influencer in Africa and you are arguing with me. What does that say? If you agreed he is, why argue? You are arguing because you think he’s not. You don’t have to say the phrase “he’s not” before it becomes obvious what you mean. Heard about unstated assumption before, mr easy intelligence? |
Sangoamadioha1:That didn’t answer my question. |
erniok:I gave you a name of who is biggest and you say he is not. Now, tell me who is bigger so we compare the stats. Or who are my going to compare Tunde’s stats with? Ghost? |
Sangoamadioha1:Throughout the entire universe, it’s taken for granted that the loudest voices come from the majority. That’s why the Parliament (all over the world) has a common way of deciding most of its resolutions and that is by asking members to say “aye” or “nay” depending on where they stand about a particular bill or proposition. Usually, the presiding officer always decides by those whose voices are the loudest and proclaim either that “the ayes have it” or “the nays have it”. But you want us believe, because you are Tinubu supporter, that in Nigeria, the most vocal are the minority while the quiet are the majority? |
erniok:I asserted with evidence. I put a name to my assertion. But you are disproving. You are countering my position. Shouldn’t you put a counter name to your disproval by naming who you think is more influential than Tunde Ednut? |
Yesterday, I posted about Tunde Ednut’s declaration to support Peter Obi again in 2027 if he contests and I saw some funny comments on the thread. Some comments read, “Tunde Ednut is pressing Obidient mumu button.” Another read, “Tunde Ednut sabi use Obidients.” Another reductionist who thinks Obidients are only Igbos and Obi is an Igbo affair wrote, “Tunde Ednut sabi use Igbos.” But these comments left me with some curious questions… Are these commenters saying that they accept that Obi is more popular and has more followers than Tinubu? Or are they saying that Tunde Ednut would rather serve the interest of the few than the interest of the majority? Anyone who knows how influencers work know that they move with the crowd. They go where the majority is. Because the need the numbers to stay relevant. Without the people (followers) any influencer would become worthless. So, can Tinubu supporters tell us why Tunde Ednut would rather press the mumu button of the minority rather than press the mumu button of the majority? |
erniok:How about you show me who is more influential? |
kingthreat:And who is your “way better” that we deserve? |
The most influential influencer in Africa has once again thrown his weight behind the best candidate on offer as the race for the 2027 general elections gears up.
|
fergie001:In summary, Obi as Presidential candidate. Atiku can nominate one his men who equally has clout, as VP. And that’s where somebody like Sule Lamido comes in. Dakwambo won’t also be a bad choice. I would have said Elrufai but he’s a damaged product and I doubt Obi would even accept him as running mate. In the end, the north is spoilt of options since I doubt they will let Obi retain Datti. |
Christistruth02:Conduct election today and Peter Obi will win Edo. Obi will win Delta. Win Rivers Win Cross River And win Southsouth region. If you like, make APC pack all political stakeholders in Southsouth into their fold. The highest you people will do is rig. But free and fair, Obi will beat Tinubu silly. |
kedeojo:That Obasanjo was not the choice of majority of Yorubas, does that make him any less Yoruba? |
PandoraObi:Now, show us the Southeast voting pattern in 1999 when Obasanjo was candidate. In 2003 when Obasanjo was candidate again. In 2007 when Yaradua was candidate. In 2011 when Jonathan was candidate. In 2015 when Jonathan was candidate again. In 2019 when Atiku was candidate. Or did Southeast start voting only in 2023? |
All of them can go to hell. Obidients are the only opposition left standing as of today in Nigeria. And we will willingly do that until the day breaks. |
numericalguy:It were people like you that swore Obi will not score 1million votes in 2023. You swore he will not win a single Local Government. Soludo swore that his data analysts were projecting Obi to win 5 states but it had reduced to 4. At the end of the elections, what happened? You lots have a lot of limitations in your heads. You build a lot of imaginary impossibilities and believe it to be true even after evidences and occurrences have proven otherwise to you. Pathetic! |
fergie001:If stakeholders can pressure Atiku to shelve his ambition (which is possible) and support Obi with his entire northern structure and allies, then Tinubu is beatable. And my calculation is simple…. No matter where Southsouth governors stand, Obi will still win the region. Need I remind you where Southeast votes will go? Now, even though Tinubu has mellowed the hearts of some northern Christians, I can still assert that Obi will win majority of their votes in 2027 especially when you consider that the security lots of Plateau and Benue people haven’t improved much so far. Then, Atiku and his men, including Elrufai and co, mobilizes the core north for Obi with strong anti-Tinubu campaign from the grassroots of northern villages, you think the numbers won’t come for Obi? These are practical analysis I’ve given you with zero emotions attached. You can tell me which is impracticable should Obi become the coalition candidate. |
Hoelujohn:That’s some funny reasoning you have in your head. You think Atiku will win presidency and then resign? Lol! Meanwhile, I believe if northerners are giving matching orders by their emirs and Imams not to sell votes, it will difficult to buy them out like you think. |
SlavaUkraini:Peter Obi will not be Atiku’s running mate in 2027. It’s either Obi is the coalition candidate or Tinubu does 8 years. |
Olabest911:Everyone knows Rivers result was rigged. |
WhizdomXX:Because Tinubu has never been Jonathan’s ally. You cannot say Tinubu betrayed Jonathan in 2015, can you? |
kinguwem:Exactly! If he had any iota of shame, he shouldn’t be talking in public. |
Amaechi is a fool! He contributed to what we are currently going through by helping enthrone Buhari and APC. That singular act has changed the course of this country. I’m happy he didn’t benefit from his betrayal of Jonathan and today he’s crying everywhere like a baby. I just remembered that all those who fought Jonathan have all paid dearly for it. Atiku, Saraki, Amaechi, Dino, Okorocha, Ogbonnaya Onu, etc. all of them. Jonathan head too strong o |
