BELIEVE...... This club is a miraculous club. Calma....

Do it the hard way but do it right. All over Manchester, it's lit.
Could you believe I left where I was watching this game and went home after Lacazette scored his penalty. I felt it was over.

Only to check scores as I got home to see that the score line was 5:4. And I was like how?

Now I’m angry that I missed the most interesting part of the game 🤦

Use your brain,sir
There will never be anytime that Igbos will not have poor people more than the Yorubas who are the richest tribe in Africa.
Yorubas control the building materials market and the fuel chain market in Nigeria couple with all other sectors very important to the lives of Nigerians.

SW had always been the region with the lowest poverty since the creation of Nigeria.
SW holds the highest poor migrants from all over Nigeria especially SE and the North.
Almajiris and beggars from the North and SE that have invaded the rich SW are in millions and all of them are counted in the stats.

If only they can do poverty stats based on ethnicity,Yorubas will always be the lowest.
Southwest(Yorubas) control Building Materials market in Nigeria? Seriously?

Even the Building Material market in all of Southwest cities are controlled by Igbos.

Stop capping shit

No meaningful developmental projects so far.

You’re not sharp..

This stats is proportional to the population of each region..

Oyo state alone is almost the population of SE which makes SW a region with higher population than SE. Numbers would always be different. Besides that, are Igbos not among the poor counted people in the west? As in, they didn’t count poor Ibo people in the west or all the Ibos in the west are rich?

NE is number one because of high population only. It doesn’t mean Ibos are richer than Hausa/Fulani..
Where did you get your data and statistics from?

Obi has come of age. In the politics of Nigeria today, no one dares overlook Peter Obi. However I said earlier that in the permutations, GEJ has one term unused. Many have looked back and regretted supporting APC. With him, I think PDP can regroup and defeat APC. Obi has the reach, but the north will not want anyone to push aside their return in 2031. If Obi wins, that means the north will wait until 2035, as he will run for the second term. Our politicians will not allow that. It was that same sentiment that caused those who decamped from PDP in 2014, to almost completely ruined the party.
I get your point.

But face GEJ against Tinubu and Tinubu will win second term except Obi accepts not to run.

But the question is, how influential are the bunkums with Almakura in this picture?

The CPC guys that matter are Malami, Abdullahi Adamu and co, and they are all on their way out of APC and no propaganda will save Tinubu.

Nigerian politicians do all that they can to bypass the voters at elections. That why the word “rig”, plays huge roles. A huge percentage of the citizens are already angry at the ruling APC. Many who joined APC to push GEJ away, including the voters, already have their change of heart, having experienced the differences.

The name of GEJ is already a rallying point. Let him declare his interest and you will see the difference.
You think GEJ is more popular than Peter Obi?

Yes, I didn't like the PDP but those who approach equity must do so with clean hands.

We want an Igbo Presidency because of competence and the fact that a SWner had been both President and VP.

Otti hails from Abia North, though Abia Central is where he calls home.
His Deputy hails from Abia North, that was my thought process.

That he will win is almost cast in gold. Like Anambra, APC will be the closest challenger.
I understand what you thought about Abia but it’s obvious now that Abians cared more about freedom and good governance than zoning.

And in Anambra, I’m no longer interested. I’ve been angry at Soludo since he wrote that stupid letter against Obi in 2023 and wanted him punished in this election cycle. But you can see how things turned. The buffoon I thought would have been Labour Party candidate to challenge him has rolled himself in the mud and I wish him luck in his foolery.

Right, I’ve made peace with Soludo’s second tenure. I guess we’ll find another way to punish him for that letter.

PoliticsRe: Nairaland Moderator Of The Year Award (Full List) by Penguin2: 12:07pm On Apr 16, 2025
NLCreator:
This isn’t a popularity contest. It’s not a clapback to the "Tinubu Supporters Moderator Awards" thread either (though the timing is poetic). This is my own Moderator of the Year list, based on personal experience, observation, and post history.

Each moderator was rated on:

● Helpfulness

● Fairness

● Activity Level

● Community Impact

● Tolerance

Some I interacted with directly, others I watched in action (or inaction). It’s as objective as I could possibly go, balancing personal encounters with how they handled others, even those I disagree with.

Let’s get into the rankings, from the bottom to the top:

7th Place: Unknown Moderator
(I'll use the pronoun “it” for this entity)
Overall Rating: 0/10

This unknown moderator deserves a mention simply because I’ve had the worst experience with it. Sometimes, I wish I knew who it was, I’d have given it a piece of my mind. I’ve never encountered someone who dislikes comedy and satire as much as this entity. Hate satire, hate poetry, hate art, and I’ll dislike you. Worse still if you hate satire that critiques government and societal ills.

Its most ungodly act? Deleting a satire of mine that was trending on Nairaland. The piece mocked the APC for doing exactly what they had once criticized Goodluck Jonathan for - fuel subsidy removal, suppression of protests, and barring protesters from Eagle Square. It was an obvious satire, set entirely in a dream. There was no way it could be mistaken for a real event.

This wasn’t even political bias. I’ve written similar satire targeting Obidients, like “Ungrateful UK Prime Minister Under Fire For Failing To Thank Peter Obi”, which trended and still stands with over 4,800 views. That one was set in a real place, yet survived. But the Tinubu satire? Axed.

If anything should’ve been deleted, it’s the Obi satire. But that of Tinubu? Happened in a dream. For this reason, I give this unknown moderator a solid 0/10.

6th Place: Mynd44
Overall Rating: 2/10

Steady presence, sometimes responsive. Helpfulness is average. But my personal experience with him has been very poor.

One low moment was watching him attack Peoples Gazette and FIJ in a thread, right after others had cited them as sources. Another notable incident involved a user, Coffinseller. He got banned and his thread was deleted. After reporting it, both the thread and his account were restored. I checked the thread myself, it was a counter-narrative to an accusation portraying Peter Obi as a pedophile. Coffinseller used Grok (same source Reno Omokri had earlier used to attack or mock Obidents) to challenge Reno’s claim. Yet the thread was deleted.

Eventually, Mynd44 restored it, locked it, and accused Grok of being unreliable - which was exactly Coffinseller’s point: that Grok shouldn’t be trusted. It was a critique of Reno. Yet, the mod didn’t get the point.

His post history might confuse you into thinking he's an APC spokesperson. Overall, my experience with him was bad. 2/10.

5th Place: Nlfpmod
Overall Rating: 7/10

At first, I thought this user was a bot always pushing threads to the front page. But I later realized it’s a real person. He’s extremely active, constantly curating content for visibility. His threads are well-balanced, but he rarely engages users. Hopefully that improves. Solid effort, though. 7/10.

4th Place: Seun Osewa
Overall Rating: 7.5/10

Sometimes available, sometimes responsive, but often absent when it really matters. The founder’s presence is felt, but sporadic. Still, deserves mention. 7.5/10.

3rd Place: Dominique
Overall Rating: 8/10

One of my favorite moderators. She scores high in almost every area: active, helpful, tolerant, and balanced. But I had a tough experience with her when she supported the Erisco founder during his public clash with Chioma. My rating for her dropped to 6/10 at the time.

However, the fact that she didn’t delete my thread or ban me (even when I called her out) won me over again. It showed she was fair and tolerant. She engaged with other commenters instead of silencing them. That maturity raised her back to 8/10 in my book.

2nd Place: Fergie001
Overall Rating: 9/10

Highly active and responsive. Knows how to de-escalate and keep order. Fair even in tricky moments and helps foster a welcoming atmosphere.

What impressed me most was how he handled Seunmsg, who threw a subtle jab at him. Fergie ignored the provocation entirely, pure professionalism.

He debates with members regularly. His most frequent sparring partners? Garfield1 (on legal issues) and Penguin2 (on the 2027 elections). While Fergie001 insists Tinubu will finish his 8 years, Penguin2 believes Obi will dethrone him. Yet, through all that, Fergie001 remains friendly and neutral. Hope he keeps it up. 9/10.

1st Place: Moderator of the Year – Justwise
Overall Rating: 10/10

I hadn’t really noticed him until recently, but he blew me away.

A Tinubu supporter, IvarTheBoneless, attacked him in a thread, accusing him of banning him until 2037, while praising Mynd44 as his best moderator. Then, out of nowhere, Justwise appeared, denying the accusation and criticizing Ivar’s behavior with proof. That alone impressed me.

But here’s the kicker. We’re in 2027, and Ivar is supposedly banned till 2037. Yet, he’s posting. More impressively, Justwise didn’t delete the thread or ban him for violating rules. He simply corrected him and moved on.

Ironically, Ivar didn’t even mention “Mynd44” correctly (wrote “Mynd4.4”), but got Justwise’s name right; a subtle acknowledgment that he knew this mod wouldn’t abuse his power.

That interaction won me over. I then reviewed Justwise’s post history. Helpful, balanced, professional. No drama, just fairness. For that, I give him a perfect 10/10 - my Moderator of the Year.

This list isn’t set in stone, but it reflects how I experienced moderation this year. Credit where due, and silence where necessary.
Lol! Had to react since you mentioned me.

Maybe because I’m mostly active in politics section, I’ve not noticed some of the moderators you mentioned here.

But I do know about Justwise and the wonderful job he’s doing in Travel section.

I know the mysterious Nlfpmod who is only seen but rarely heard. As him no dey talk, wetin you go say him do kwanu? Lol

Then, who doesn’t know the ever notorious Mynd44 who never hides his biases and preference for Tinubu and everything APC. Man takes joy in banning me both for things I’ve done and things I didn’t do. I just recently returned from the 6 months ban he gave me. I’m sure he’s targeting giving me 1 year ban next. But I say goodluck to him.

And lastly, my guy Fergie001. I knew Fergie before he became a moderator and he’s been my guy since then. Despite the fact that he does have his stand and preferences in issues but he always maintains utmost professionalism by acting above those biases and rarely expresses them on any issue. Needless to say that he’s my favorite MOD; not because he’s my guy but because of the values he represents.

Oborevwori, Makinde, Bala Mohammed, Eno & Sheriff are for Tinubu.

The SS/SE Govs will help him with Obi.

Now, they want to use Makinde/Fintiri or Bala Mohammed/Makinde to scuttle Atiku. That's the game, Atiku must not win the ticket.

I can say authoritatively majority of the PDP Governors share this same sentiment.
The question is who is going to be the candidate then? Cuz by 2031 it will be the turn of the north which technically knocks out Obi. Now, which northern candidate can do for Nigeria what Obi could have done? You see why I’m interested in 2027 and Obi candidacy? And I hope you know it’s not tribalism but my deep conviction of the values that Obi represents.

Meanwhile, if the report by West African Weekly (David Hundeyin’s Newspaper) is anything to go by, then I heard Umo Eno is on his way to APC as part of a deal to shield his godfather, Udom Emmanuel, from being prosecuted by the EFCC.
