The only thing I know is that Igede girls can knack eh ![]() |
Yuslaw2438:Ngwanu get ready to fly the tucanos to southeast. Come raze us down so your happiness can be complete. And all worries and that of your generation would be over. U hear? |
That’s how PDP’s relatively unknown candidate would defeat the political heavyweight that APC would present in 2023. You can see that even though The Democrats are in power in both the federal and in New Jersey, it didn’t stop the senate president from getting beaten. |
Thrash! |
PrinceOfLagos:Even the blind knows. But I don’t blame Amaechi sha. He’s simply doing the bidding of his master in Aso Rock. As supported by vulture grillers and other Nairaland zombies. |
The Bible said that “surely they will gather”... ”But if their gathering is not in my name, they shall surely scatter”. APC has no way out but to scatter. Since they’ve made themselves a conglomeration of sadistic and narcissistic characters who wish Nigeria and Nigerians nothing but sorrow and suffering. Ndi Ala! |
Army denied Lekki Tollgate Massacre that was captured on live video. Army denied Awgu invasion and burning and destruction of property that was captured on video by soldiers themselves. So I’m not surprised they are denying this one which would obviously be true. But the God of ndi Anambra will shock them! Ndi ala! |
Kemistri4:Don’t mind the idiots! |
Mysticwebb:So because Buhari is doing it, everybody should be allowed to do it? More like since Bandits are kidnapping for ransom then people in the southwest should join banditry. You see how deficient your cognitive abilities are? |
DubaiLandLord1:Right now you should wail that Sunday Dare is sacking an Omoluabi from work to make space for his kinsman. If the sports minister was Igbo man, would you take it easy? |
This is zombies’ masturbation thread. I have no business here. |
E remain to post Ugwuanyi in toilet ![]() Madam wey no dey do anything except media paparazzi. Well I do commend him for his role in zoning PDP chairmanship position to the north which was a masterstroke and has succeeded in boxing APC to a corner ![]() |
IPOB has been playing ping pong with the head of zombies ![]() They have been here giving themselves false hope of how Andy Uba will become governor with 5 votes of those escorted by the military to polling units. But now IPOB has called off the sit at home which means their dreams would be shattered. Because come Saturday, Soludo will be voted as the next governor of Anambra state. Now they have resort to insulting and accusing IPOB of inconsistency which is clearly a product of chest pain ![]() Just the way they had hoped we would be pressuring PDP for presidential ticket but they’ve seen we don’t even care if we don’t get VP ticket as long as no Yoruba gets into that place. |
Philipponzaghi:You must be disappointed that APC intention to install Andy Uba through the back door has been foiled. I advise you concentrate on looking for Igbos arrested for drugs in India which you have made your full time job so you won’t die of chest pain. |
Like Tinubu like his boys. You have sacked two people and replaced them with people from Oyo state. Now the third guy is a fellow Yoruba from Lagos and you want to sack him too so you can appoint another Oyo indigene? When will tell them Yoruba are Yoruba greatest enemies, they’d rather sniff around into Igbo affair. But I don’t blame Sunday Dare... shebi when we were complaining of Buhari’s lopsided appointments, zombies said all his appointees can come from Daura provided they are ‘competent’. Ndi ala! |
SonofDevil:You didn’t answer my question... There’s always a first time for anything under the sun. So let’s assume in 2023 the north decides to play clannish politics and votes a northerner under PDP, where else would your Yoruba candidate hope on? |
SonofDevil:So you accept that after 12 years of APC in Edo, PDP still had structure? But 8 years of APC and PDP structure has collapsed in the North? PDP has no structure in the north and Ganduje had to depend on twisted rerun to win re-election after PDP candidate defeated him in the first count? PDP has no structure in the north but Simon Lalong had to go on a rerun with PDP candidate in Plateau state? PDP has no structure in the north but it reclaimed Adamawa and Bauchi from APC? |
SonofDevil:So what you are telling us is that your Southwest candidate will be depending on the benevolence of northern voters to win, right? And if in 2023 the north decides to be clannish and support one of their own then it’s game over for Yoruba candidate. Or is there anywhere else you would expecting miracle from? |
SonofDevil:On what structure did Olusegun Mimiko depend on to win Ondo under Labour Party(LP) in 2007? On what structure did Governor Abdulrazaq of Kwara depend on to win Kwara in 2019 and defeat the Saraki dynasty; a well known structure? On what structure did Obaseki depend on to win re-election in Edo when almost every political heavyweight in the state was in APC? Sometimes you reason like a child. Because you keep forgetting the people factor in all these. No politician will lead any electorate by the hand on the day of election. |
Ogbuefi2020:Exactly my point. We don’t mind voting A northerner with someone from Southsouth as vp as long as they would ensure that Ndigbo will no longer be an endangered specie in Nigeria. But zombies think we don’t see through their scheming. |
seunmsg:You must have mistaken my article to mean me begging APC to zone its ticket to Southeast. Far from that dear brother. I was just laying bare the reality that APC finds itself in right now. Nothing is cast in stone, but you can’t be too hopeful that a Tinubu or an Osinbajo would garner more votes in the north than an Atiku or a Tambuwal. And there’s no way the votes of the entire Southwest would come close to the votes of Southsouth and Southeast combined. We have not put into consideration the fact that states like Oyo that has PDP governor might split its votes. Add the fact that almost half of Lagos voters are Igbos. Plus that Ondo has always tilted towards PDP. Now where will the Southwest candidate get the numbers? Don’t be emotional, try to be practical, pragmatic and realistic. |
Fahdiga:Sorry about the statement of Southsouth being under the control of APC. That was error in mechanical accuracy. You should have known I meant PDP though. But I sha have effected the correction. |
zedman1:We all know it didn’t start today. But a massacre of such magnitude has never happened; not in the histories I’ve read nor since I became politically aware. But you know what is most painful this time around? Since 2017 till date, not a single perpetrator has been arrested. Is that also how it used to be in the past? |
Dsalvo:You sound so much like our intention to “serve” Fulani master is paining you. As if it’s not same Fulani master you lots have been “serving” since 2015. Two can play the game. So, weep not, child! |
Dsalvo:Unfortunately I see no pragmatism nor intelligence in your many vituperations. All I see is lamentations. |
As the 2023 electioneering campaigns and party politics take top gear, PDP seems to have successfully boxed APC to a corner. Before the PDP national convention, one of the headaches the party had was how to zone party positions. Most observers and bookmakers thought the party chairmanship was going to go south which would have obviously indicated that the PDP presidential ticket would go north. If that had happened, a lot of Campaign of calumny would have gone towards the PDP for being anti-South for plotting to hand the North another tenure after Buhari. PDP would have shown all its cards too early and opposition parties, especially APC, would have used those cards against them. But PDP pulled a masterstroke by zoning the party chairmanship position to the north and throwing the presidential ticket open. Just recently, it was confirmed that the PDP Governors, who seem to be the new sheriffs of the party, have voted to throw the presidential ticket of the party open; which further cements that decision. Now the implications of this are simple and obvious. It’s open secret that Iyorchia Ayu, the incoming Chairman, has agreed to step down should a northerner get the ticket of the party. But nothing is cast in stone. A southerner might as well become the party presidential flagbrearer. Now the APC is in a quagmire. If it throws its ticket open like the PDP, the Southwest, which is its only ally in the south, would feel shortchanged and it will adversely affect the party fortunes in the entire south. If zones its ticket to Southwest, which duly deserves the party ticket in the south due to their investments and loyalty, then PDP will automatically throw its weight behind a northerner who would be paired with either someone from Southsouth or Southeast (Ndigbo won’t really mind as long as APC won’t be in power again). Now, with northern votes and the bloc vote from SS and SE, I don’t see how an APC candidate from the Southwest would stand a chance. Before you doubt these projections, remember that the entire Southsouth is under the control of PDP except for the audio defection of Ben Ayade of Cross River state which genuine political watchers can testify that it carries no effect. The situation in the Southeast as regards APC is too obvious to be discussed. Now what next for APC? From the above reality, the only way for APC is to go Southsouth or Southeast. But this has to be done with the buy in of the Southwest stalwarts of the party. APC needs to convince Tinubu to allow the presidential ticket of the party to be zoned to Southsouth or Southeast. If Tinubu agrees to such deal, then APC will be assured of Southwest support. Now, Tinubu, Osinbajo, Fayemi, etc, might have to give up their presidential ambitions but that is the only way their party would be guaranteed continued stay in power which would allow Tinubu to maintain his invincibility and National Leadership tag. Now with the APC presidential candidate coming from either SS/SE, the party can be assured of the whole votes of the entire south, especially if PDP zones it’s ticket to the north, add that to the Buhari effect in the north and the popularity of whoever would be the Vice Presidential candidate from the north and you are sure to garner considerable votes from the north and the election might just be a walkover for APC. Anything aside this, then APC can kiss power goodbye in 2023. Lalasticlala Mynd44 Fergie001 Fahdiga Sapientia Garfield Helinues |
They’ve taken an Igbo man there so that anything he does, they will pin it on the whole Igbo race! Ndi ala! Death to terrorists! |
SmartPolician:Same here! |
cessna150:I flew AirPeace and it was Boeing. Don’t say what you don’t know please. It is the new set of planes they are acquiring from Brazil that is Embraer brand new planes.
|
SonofDevil:You make me laugh. First you claimed no Atiku loyalist won any election, I bursted that lie. And now you are shifting the goalpost? Ayu, who has been Senate President and Minister, will be a ceremonial or pushover chairman? Can you listen to yourself? Even the governors know they can’t control him. The most the governors can do is to lobby delegates which Atiku can equally do. So nobody is at a disadvantage right now in PDP and stop giving yourself false hope. |
benuejosh:Does it mean you have logical reasoning issues or what? So after reading what is up there, this is what you could come up with? If you claim I kidnapped your sister for instance, can you go to hire your boys to come and carry me and beat me up? Isn’t that an illegal act? Do you think your actions would be excused in court? Isn’t your best option to report to the police who would then arrest and prosecute me legally? I wonder where some of you came out of, honestly. |
