Igboid:Lol! They know we are not just a “dot in a circle”. We are dangerous tigers. The north fears that if we are allowed to go, we will cause trouble for them in the Niger Delta( supposing the Ijaws choose to remain and slave for the north). They know that the oil rich Igbo territories that were erroneously carved into Rivers state by Gowon will be annexed; with no apologies. The Fulanis fear the Igbos because whatever they can do, we do it quadruple times. Except that we do not spill blood. Ndigbo are Fulanis’ greatest nightmare. |
Igboid:I do understand you. I’ve heard it said that there’s no morality in politics. So it’s high time we stopped caring for what is right or wrong. |
PROUDIGBO:That’s the truth. Any day a date for referendum is set Biafra, that’s the day other secessionist elements will demand for their own date too. It’s not like the north really has big issues with letting the Igbos go, but just that they know that any day the Igbos leave will be the end of Nigeria. |
The man dead body never reach mortuary dem don dey fight over him wealth. This people have no respect for the dead. |
APCNig:I hope you know I’m not an APC apologist? I was just telling that Soludo can’t possibly have a chance in 2023 since he’s neither in APC nor PDP. Except some deals are cut sha. And yes, all I want is good governance for Nigeria. That’s why Peter Obi is my first choice for 2023 but I guess it’s a tall dream. |
otukpoyam:So my hope is dashed? |
APCNig:Soludo was good I know. But he is not in APC na. |
LadyExcellency:Who is talking about morality? Sullivan Chime of Enugu state was a serial womanizer to the extent he impregnated his wife’s sister but that doesn’t make me denigrate his works in Enugu for one bit. Tell me the legacy of OUK in Abia. That’s the challenge. |
Ovamboland:Was the senate presidency zoned to Southwest in 2015 and the Igbos worked against it? Or was it zoned to southeast and the Igbos rather worked to install Saraki? None of these was the scenario in 2015. But in 2011, the Speakership was zoned to Southwest and the region had many House of Rep members of the PDP. In fact Mulikat Akande was positioned for the job. But it was you Yorubas that helped a northerner take that position instead against your own region. While you turned around to scream marginalization. How is such a daft move politics 101? |
Leverage2021:GEJ and PDP never set out to sideline the Yorubas during his reign but they are too dubious to admit it. PDP zoned the Speakership of the House of Representatives to the Southwest after the 2011 general elections. It was Tinubu who ensured that the ACN House of Rep members teamed up with dissidents elements from the north to deny the Southwest that position only to turn around and use media to launch campaign of calumny against GEJ that he has sidelined the Yoruba in his government. Can you imagine such people. |
Kaduna1stson:You are a paid agent of destruction who is only here to cause division and foment trouble. I just wish others can see through you like I have and learn to ignore you rant without attention. |
This is commendable. I can’t wait to jump on it and learn software development, coding and general website design for free. Not all these mushroom software development teachers charging hundreds of thousands of Naira just to teach you one package. I can’t wait for the link for registration to drop. I will be the first to register. I promise myself that. And guys, IT is the next big thing in the world. Take this opportunity to learn an IT skill and be better for it. Most remote workers that are earning in thousands of dollars on quarterly basis are doing IT job. Kudos to FG on this one. It’s not everything you criticize. When they do good, you commend them.

From July this year, the once moribund Southern Governors Forum (SGF) seems to have been rejuvenated. They started with their meeting in Asaba where they collectively placed a ban on Open Grazing and resolved to cause their state Assemblies to promulgate laws to that effect. I must commend those who have lived up that resolve so far. The Asaba meeting was followed by their Lagos meeting where they issued a communique demanding that all parties in Nigeria should concede their 2023 Presidential Tickets to the South in the spirit of equity and fairness since Buhari would be completing 8 years of presidency for the north in 2023. Such a wonderful call. In their meeting that followed in Enugu, they threw their weight behind state collection of VAT to further make funds available for states and move towards fiscal federalism. Commendable! What these many meetings of theirs have shown is that the South is finally coming together to address issues that affect them with common front. But recently, Rotimi Akeredolu, the leader of the Southern Governors Forum, has been engaging in such rhetorics that suggest that the clamour for Southern Unity so far is to unite the Southern Governors behind Tinubu’s presidential ambition which but betrays the sincerity of the drive to unite the south. If the Southern Governors Forum had a sense of equity and fairness when they demanded that the presidency be zoned to South in 2023, why did they not extend such sense into admitting that since 1999, a Yoruba man has been President and Vice President for 8 apiece and a Southsouth man has been president for 6 years which leaves the Southeast as the only region in the south that hasn’t tested power and therefore should be considered, unopposed, for the presidency? Why does it seem that the purported drive for unity is to help increase the chances of a Southwest man succeeding Buhari? I suppose it is the reason that governors elected on the platform of the PDP are no longer enthusiastic about the Southern Governors Forum anymore or maybe just not interested in its demand for presidency to come to the South. Hence my question, is southern unity for Yoruba gain? Or what is in it for the Southeast and Southsouth man? Lalasticlala Mynd44 |
Thank you INEC |
If Orji Uzor Kalu likes, let him collect Aboki titles from Kano to Birnin Gwari, he still won’t take southeast slot for the presidency. He’s corrupt and has nothing to show for his stewardship in Abia. If he set things right, Abia should be at par with Anambra in terms of commerce but Aba is a desolate city despite its potentials. Characters like Kalu, Okorocha and Uzodimma shouldn’t take our slot. Give southeast slot to Umahi or Ogbonnaya Onu or even Ngige. These are men that have proven their mettle. |
Amunaotutheory:Honestly I’m surprised our Yoruba brothers are not joining the call. Abi Oduduwa republic got arrested with Sunday Igboho? |
caleboxylic:What is a nation without access to the sea? |
From Edo to Akwa Ibom to Anambra to Kano and now Gombe, ex governors have kept falling out with successors they helped install. This goes to prove that fighting tooth and nail to install a successor might be a stupid, fruitless and worthless venture since these niggurs would always wanna break off the shackles of their godfather who seldom kneel on their neck and wouldn’t allow them breathe. Our democracy is still new sha. But very soon, outgoing incumbents would understand that the best thing they can do while elections are approaching is to allow a level playing field for all candidates and it’d surprise them that a candidate who emerges through a transparent process might even be more loyal and appreciative than the idiots they help install. It was Kwankwaso who couldn’t enter Kano in 2019. Now it is Danjuma Goje who can’t enter Gombe. And all these torments keep coming from guys they helped into power. |
Itgeo:They would rather deploy all Nigeria soldiers to Anambra and other regions burn to ashes than protect the people of Southern Kaduna. Not like they were ever interested in their protection anyways. |
Safyqueen:So you take pride in atrocities? |
Akwobe beans akwo, moi moi ana esi ![]() Few days back it was a northern coalition going to court to ask the court to order the National Assembly to promulgate a law that would allow referendum for Biafrans. Today it is Prof Ango Abdullahi re-echoing same sentiments. The north seems to be accepting the reality of Biafran exit. Only Wastern zombies and Tinubu online cretins and urchins are still living in denial. With that said, I want to thank the north for starting to lend their voice to our quest for referendum but I need to restate for the umpteenth time that Biafra is not just the 5 Southeast states. Biafra is the entire Old Eastern region that covers Abia, Anambra, Imo, Enugu, Ebonyi, Cross River, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa. With the Anioma people of Delta state. The Igbanke people of Edo state. The Igbo people of Enugu and Anambra that were erroneously carved into Kogi state. And the Izzi and Umuezekoha people that were erroneously carved into Benue state. No more, no less! Yagazie!

This one thinks they will give him power because he’s collecting aboki titles. We want power in the southeast but not through characters like Orji Uzor Kalu, Rochas Okorocha or Hope Uzodinjo. We want Umahi or Ogbonnaya Onu. Or Amaechi, in case they want a coalition of SE/SS + North against the Waste ![]() I’m ready to vote APC if they give their ticket to Igboman or Amaechi. |
With which money? I don’t have issues with them being granted amnesty as long as the money they will be given would be from Northwest. But if it’s to give them Niger Delta Oil money in the name of amnesty, then thunder fire them. |
The president is following due process. But the day IPOB was declared a “terrorist organization”, it happened with a speed of light without even the National Assembly making this kind of call. Now it’s the turn of his business brothers in the north and he is following due process. |
Not like he deserved the SAN title in the first place. In fact his law certificate should be revoked as well. And consequently sacked as minister of Justice. These fools need to know that there’s a limit to what a people can take. Malami’s head needs to go down with this last action of his. Onye Ala! |
Orishirishi ![]() As if his endorsement would have been of any significant value to Ozigbo. |
The name of the airport will be one botanical name Ike that ![]() Olympotic Nudum Patum International Airport, Obudu ![]()

Thank God I’m mining PI ![]() Make e no be like say I no dey investor in crypto. Crypto currency is the future baby. |
The best decision! After the Anambra governorship debate, I found out that Ozigbo was the best candidate in the race. I will personally be sorry for Anambra if he doesn’t win. Just like I will be sorry for her if Andy UBA wins. |
It’s not all the time we should criticize. Sometimes we need to use our head. These redeployments are good and necessary. Egbunike being from Anambra shouldn’t be heading a tactical team of security agencies to coordinate election security in Anambra. There’s no way he won’t have interest in who should win. Again, if any of the political parties had succeeded in compromising either Egbunike or the AIG, then this is bad market because it will no longer work. A lot can happen within 24 hrs but I don’t see the likelihood of the new head being compromised within 24 hours. With all said and done, best wishes to Ndi Anambra! |
udele1:So why are you crying more than the bereaved? |
I can swear to you that this post won’t make front page. But No matter APC desperation, they will never take Anambra. |
