Don’t mind Masari, he’s just a zombie, like his fellows on Nairaland.

He would rather advise Katsina indigenes to bite bandits with teeth than muster the balls to tell Buhari that he has failed.

I expect zombies to align with this idea of protecting Igboho while they will be the first to shout ‘crucify him crucify him’ whenever Nnamdi Kanu case is brought up.

But we sane southerners who know that Kanu and Igboho are fighting for the good of the South, will be here ensuring that the two great niggurs are protected at all cost.

How is that relevant to our argument?

You said Catholic priests can't be removed, that they are priests forever. I replied that, that is not true, priests can be removed from the priesthood.
You asked for the steps, I gave them to you, at least to the best of my knowledge.

You're now asking something else entirely.

I have backed up my argument that priests can be removed from the priesthood.
Please, back up your own argument that priests can't be removed from the priesthood or just rest.

https://www.guampdn.com/news/local/apurons-canonical-trial-what-we-know-so-far/article_8f058463-9ab1-57d2-a830-b1e9f24ba6c8.html
Lol!

“The lord has sworn an oath he will not change, you are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek” Psalm 110:4.

That’s the premise upon which Catholic priests are ordained.

What it means is that even when laicization does happen, the person is still a priest only that the faculties and office of priesthood has been removed from him.

Laicization is there in the Canon Law but is said to be a very difficult process which is why no Bishop is known to have invoked it in recent memory.

What is the need of a law that is never put in use? That was why I made my first submission that priests are not removed.

Deadlytruth:
It is quite funny that you isolated resource control from all other elements of restructuring I mentioned e.g. LCDAs among other Lagos State centripetal policies I hinted at.
Secondly, the massive looting at Abuja is actually made possible by the presence there of a huge centralized purse courtesy of the current system. But on the contrary, resource control will actually reduce looting considering the fact that what will be available at each state will be at an average of one thirty sixth of what you presently have concentrated in Abuja so there will be less available to loot. Moreover, resource control will awaken the residents of all states to their responsibility of constantly demanding accountably from their governors and commissioners as the revenues in their states will come from their own sweat rather than as manna from Abuja. With resource control a lot of non-viable local government areas especially in the North will collapse and falsification of census figures will become unnecessary hence die a natural death. All these endless agitation for creation of more states will end once it becomes a law that each state will run her own affairs with funds generated from within her domains hence it will no longer be an issue of social injustice for the North to have 19 states against the South's 17 and that is if some Northern States don't collapse into others. Then with a leaner central purse courtesy of resource control, the federal government will be forced to stop contemplating crazy and wasteful policies like amnesty package for militans, bandits and terrorists; sponsoring of religious pilgrimages; tradermoni largesse; subsidy payments for importation of refined petroleum products and edibles like rice, chicken, and others; there will no longer enough funds to sustain the jumbo allowance of senators and representatives thus politics will become unattractive to political investors and therefore become a venture for accomplished veterans in different fields who will bring their professional experiences to bear on legislative business. Each state government will have no option than to look inwards into untapped resources in their respective states. Political investors will therefore be forced to invest in the real sector to the effect of stimulating productivity towards diversification thus reversing our net importer situation which is responsible for the ever falling value of the Naira to all other world currencies. All this will birth a new socio-economic order where every pay is earned as against the current one which encourages entitlement mentality, rent seeking, laziness, political thuggery, propensity towards TV shows like BB Naija, etc.
Positions like yours over this resource control question usually come from people who don't see the bigger picture.
Lol! The way you just opened my eyes about resource control eh, it just seems that resource control is the only thing we need to do to set everything else aright.

Because when poor states start to seek way to generate revenue from every possible way, it will increase production.

No illiterate would wanna become a governor since it will no longer be a funny venture.

Taxation will be enthroned. And with taxation will come more demand for accountability from taxpayers.

There will be no more subsidy which will increase foreign direct investment because investors know they will be selling their services for the price it’s worth.

No region, especially poor ones, will be agitating for state creation anymore especially when they have seen that existing ones are having it tough.

Seems Resource Control is the answer to 70 percent of Nigeria’s problem.

Thank you for opening my eyes further on the discourse.

We will ensure its implementation. If not today, then tomorrow.

Deadlytruth:
If everyone or at least majority vote based on issues, would there be any fear of widening the APC victory gap through voting for Moghalu?
Even the blame about the party rigging machinery you talk about still falls back on the followership because it is not the politicians of the parties that come out to do rigging but the voters themselves in exchange for gifts. Have you ever seen a politician carry a gun to disrupt voting in any election?
We have had examples in some states where voters took a principled stance against rigging by the party in power and succeed. Why can't Nigerians do so across all states of the federation for an obviously potentially good candidate if they sincerely desire a more result-oriented government?
I would disagree with your postulation that Northerners are more responsible for voting based on ethnoreligious sentiments than the South because in 1999 the SE and my own SS gave a combined higher percentage total votes on state by state basis to Obasanjo who was himself the candidate presented by the supposedly illiterate North and presented no manifesto, over the Falae who was the candidate of one of the regions of the more educated South and had a pragmatic manifesto. Then in 2003, Ojukwu, a long time graduate of the prestigious Oxford University and who was armed with the best and most practically realistic manifesto, couldn't even get convincingly voted by his own equally well educated South Eastern brothers let alone other regions. His attempt again in 2007 had the same outcome. So ethnoreligious and primordial sentiments are a general Nigerian disease regardless of level of literacy.
Ever heard of the Tyranny of the Majority?

We have a majority of the Nigerian populace who are not informed nor quite educated.

It will be a Herculean task trying to explain to this people how Moghalu for instance was a former deputy governor of the Central Bank and has better manifesto on what can work for Nigeria while Buhari can’t find the NEPA Bill we asked him to bring in place of certificate or how Atiku is just another crook who contributed in the mess Nigeria finds itself now.

There’s something called psychology of Association. The greater percentage of these guys are already associated with APC and PDP so that what you can do as an informed member of the society is to help shepherd them towards the party with the lesser evil as a candidate.

Do you know the amount of money it would take to run television ads, radio jingles, road shows and rallies that would inform the entire population of voters nationwide that there’s a certain YDP and what its logo looks like? Does Moghalu or his party have such money?

Go to the rural areas of Nsukka in Enugu, Abakaliki in Ebonyi, Bichi in Kano, Ogbomoso in Oyo, ask the rural dwellers there how many parties are in Nigeria and know how many of them know anything beyond APC and PDP.

Usually there is a canonical trial (that is the Catholic church's version of a court trial) and if the priest is found guilty of serious misconduct eg child molestation, he maybe be laicized(defrocked or removed from the priesthood)

Politics › Re: Biafra: ‘nnamdi Kanu Still Technically In Kenya’ – Lawyer by Penguin2: 9:32am On Aug 08, 2021
The truth is that until appropriate extradition steps has been taken, Nnamdi Kanu is technically still in Kenya.

This is law we are talking about and not some lizard grilling business.

Ademola Adeleke would have been the governor of Osun State today if a certain Justice Peter Obiora, who delivered the lead judgment, wasn’t absent from court for one day.

The Supreme Court argued that every process of law must be upright as a single misstep vitiates the whole process.

But I expect zombies to still foam in the mouth and convulse in their ignorance.

The Nigerian govt can’t be engaging in legal prosecution while standing on illegality.

When they are ready for a truly legal process, they will take Nnamdi Kanu back to Kenya, file an extradition process. At the Kenyan court, it will now be decided where he should be extradited to.

Zombies will be protecting Igboho while they want Kanu crucified. Such equivocation!

Most definitely.

But such punishment is usually from the local ordinary (Bishop) and not the Vatican.

That’s why you don’t see Rome intervening in Mbaka’s case. His actions, right or wrong, are left to his Bishop to gauge and decide his punishment when necessary.

The Catholic Church is a church of law and order, not some one man business like Winners Chapel.

The bandits have successfully taken delivery of one fighter jet already. More likely to follow.
