PoliticsRe: Jonathan Under Pressure To Dump Tukur by PENMIGHT(m):
Internal rancour is not unexpected in a party as big as PDP. But the question is whether such rancour is justifiable. Jonathan is at the centre of this unrest. It is an avoidable impasse that leadership of the party imposed on themselves.
Who is seen as been a political neophyte and an opportunist ?- Jonathan. Who is seen as breaking a gentleman pact of 1 tern wt his sponsors?-Jonathan. Who imposed Tukur-Jonathan. No doubt,Jonathan has more opposition within than without! It is a water-loo in the offing. Even at war, dialogue and reconciliatory windows are never shut but the systematic boycort by his own pictures a house divided along its lines.
With Jonathan, how could one possible expect the water of PDP to settle? No one is too big for Nigeria to sacrifice. The crucifision doesn't ve to be today friday but I think it won't be a bad idea to prepare an executive cross in the waiting. But ,his PDP(indeed Nigeria) sure needs a presidential sacrifice

Truth be told, Jesus wasn't crucified nor killed; it only appears to be. It's a misery of perception. In other words mirage can only be imaginary not real. Who moved the stone? Surely, not Mary Magdalene.
In reality ,we are not to assume the death of him whose life and times can only end after his descent in the second coming. Peace.

Tell him that Tinubu is his regent and leader of the opposition.

Also inform him that the minority finally got a chance to produce a president.Even though he's weak and couldn't take decisive decisions that will better Nigeria.

U just eased my dilemma. Tanx.
assalaamat: Differences b/w a cover letter and an application letter are:1.the writer's and recipient's addresses are not included in a cover letter, while they are in an application letter,2.in a cover letter there's no need for heading i.e Application For The Post Of....,while it's compulsory in application letter.3.a cover letter is a letter sent with th cv when applying for a job online, while application letter is a hand-written letter which must be attached to a cv when applying for a job in person.4.a cover letter must always be ended with "Yours faithfully",while in the case of an application letter,if we start with the name of the addressee e.g Dear Mr John/Mrs Ayoade,it must be ended with "Yours sincerely",while it must be ended with "Yours faithfully" if we start with Dear Sir/Madam. Similarities:1.They both indicate one's interest in a job,2.They must both include Dear Sir/Madam.Goodluck to us all !!!

Bright De Gea: Its more sanitary to bury someone in the cementry so i prefer cementry, bury someone at home? I dont know why 9ja do the opposite, but these should not be much of a concern because where your soul will end up is more important than where you are going to be buried, i pray y'all make heaven
I was involved in looking for a good location to construct for one of the new-generation banks in Abeokuta. We got a good location but there was a problem! There lies the grave of the dead patriach of the family at one end of the piece of land. The bank is ready to pay huge amount but wt the condition that is obvious- 'remove the grave'. What do u think the family did?Your guess is as good as mine. What will people not do for money? The living betraying the dead!

U are simply awesome! The wise saying of the prophet goes does-"Choose your neighbours before you site your dwellings". In life and in the evitable death, you sure going to have neighbours.Man is social till eternity. Buried at home, the dead is 'lonely' being in the midst of the living. No compatriot. Mourning is eternal.Grave veneration and worship sets it. Prayer in such houses is prohibited. Besides ur dead body will not benefit from the prayers of believers that visit the cemetary. The cemetary is d abode of a believer amidst believers(and only believers) like him.

Mekusnwa: The hand writing is clear that PDP will win 2015 elections massively.
Anybody still dreaming about a PDP exit in 2015 is a clown.

Just last week, elections were held in FCT and PDP cleared all five councils and left one for ANPP.
That victory was significant in Many respects. It was a reasonably free and fair election.
It also came at the heels of so much noise by the opposition about APC.
FCT is also a centre of unity representing every ethnic group.
For PDP to have swept the polls in metropolitan areas shows how much strength they have n the country.
Your analysis is parochial,at best. It stench of sentiments than truism. U said PDP cleared all five and "LEFT" one for ANPP. I was expecting u to be fair to the opposition by saying ANPP 'won' in one. Absolutely bias! Just like the common saying-" I 'had' 5A's but they 'gave' me F9 in maths" And why do u think "they left one" for ANPP? It was cos the majority of people in Gwagwalada are hausas. PDP won in other five cos the indigenes voted and retained their locals. No crime in that but it is far a way to say that the FCT election depict the strenght of PDP.

And the world will not come to an end until when a man witnesses the night as believer, and by morning he is a disbeliever. And the world will not come to an end until the one riding is worse than the one walking;and the one walking is worse than the one sitting;and the one sitting will be worse sleeping. And a man will walk by a grave and will say-" how I wish I were to replace the inhabitants of this grave".

Yes,the signs of End times have been happening for has long as that time +\-. When we say End Time, it is not as though it connote future events. There are many MINOR SIGNS and according to scholars most of these ve been established. Infact the first coming of JESUS and the prophet after him(MUHAMMAD pbuh) are parts of these minor signs. None of the MAJOR signs, however,is yet to be seen.

It is as tall as it was. As an architect, u learn about the medieval architecture of civilizations;the romans, the greeks;the byzantine; the persians. Some of those prowess are still unparralled in todays industrialized landscapes. Allaah says(Q 89vs 6-9) " Did u not see how your Lord dealt with 'Ad people? Who built and were lofty pillars. The likes of which were not created in Land? And with Thamud people ,who cut out rocks in the valley with bare hands to make dwellings." Depite all these, history is clear that the likes of todays building were not to be compared(in height) to ages'.

It would be bad for the man to have these behaviours. We have discussed severally on this forum the limit of the headship of the man in d home. It must not be to the extent that she obeys him in disobedience to her Lord.
May Allaah make u and your likes an exemplary muslimah till the end of hour.
In other words, do not obey a conniving, malicious, decieving, lying and adultrous wife. Or, does it only apply to wives who don't like their mother-inlaws?

Does this also apply to a husband with the above stated behaviours?
U are right about the description of the kind of woman. A righteous woman is best of gift a man can posses in this effemeral world. A mother -inlaw may not be liked for genuine reasons(especially as related to rights of obey Allaah unconditionally) . In such situations , there is no sin in obeying the wife in disobedience to one's mum. Infact, such wife may be right to dislike the m-inlaw. There is no blind obedience. The prophet said "No obedience ti the created in disobedience to the creator.Obedience is in righteousness" This also applies to the husband. Infact the prophet said in reference to the End Time that " A man will obey his friend and disobey his father". Allaah knows best.

Open mindedness is key to understanding so many things. Bias mindsets propel people to see only what they want to see of islam(terrorism,72,hijab,beards etc). Islam does not have to always be seen as offensive. That is not pristine! Also, muslims doesn't have to be seen as the endangered species. Believe me folk, Islam is beautiful. Peace (unto who follows the guidance)!
A bit understandable that the Maclatunji's explanation.
Still need a detailed explanation on this.

Thanks.
Wives have their places and rights. So is ones mother! Both are not in conflict! But,no doubt, obedience to parents is unconditional in as much as it does not come in conflict with obeisance to The Creator. Islam recognizes this so "whenever Allaah commands us to obey Him,He swiftly add "and be dutiful to your parents". Towards the end time, man will be deluded to wrongfully fufill the right of wife at mother's expense. This is sinful. The wives of today are mothers of tomm. So u see, it means we should treat women equitably wether a wife or mother. Some ladies prefer marriage of no mother-inlaw to the opposite. Such are d women that should not be obeyed. Thanks.

Nothing could be weightless than your thoughts. If u do not know then u humbly ask. How 'sudden' were the deaths of those time compared to now. U want to compare deaths as caused by plagues and pandemic that kills slowly and allowing u to repent with the agonizingly sudden death of Airmishaps, auto crashes , terrorism, stray bullet, plumonary embolism, acid bath cardiac failure, etc. The word of a prophet are sacrosantly going to be fufilled but only to be seen by men of faith and who posseses eyes that see.

IslamRe: 72 Signs Of the end time. by PENMIGHT(m): 11:21am On Mar 22, 2013
The lesser signs of the Hour include the following:
1. The sending of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)
2. The death of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
3. The conquest of Jerusalem.
4. The plague of Amwaas (Emmaus), which is a city in Palestine.
5. Widespread wealth and lack of need for charity.
6. The appearance of fitan (tribulations). Among the tribulations that occurred in the early years of Islam were: the killing of ‘Uthmaan (may Allaah be pleased with him), the battle of the camel and the battle of Siffeen, the emergence of the Khawaarij, the battle of al-Harrah, and the opinion that the Qur’aan is a creation.
7. The emergence of claimants to Prophethood, such as the liar Musaylimah andal-Aswad al-‘Anasi.
8. The appearance of fire in the Hijaaz, which appeared in the middle of the 7th century AH, in 654 AH. This was a great fire, which the scholars who were alive at the time of its appearance and those who came after them described in great detail. Al-Nawawi said: There appeared in our time a fire in Madeenah, in the year six hundred and fifty-four. It was a very great fire on the eastern side of Madeenah, beyond the Harrah, and knowledge of it was widespread throughout Syria and all lands. Those of the people of Madeenah who were present told me about it.
9. Loss of trust. One of the manifestations ofloss of trust is people’s affairs being entrustedto those who are not qualified or able for that.
10. The taking away of knowledge and the prevalence of ignorance; the taking away of knowledge will occur with the disappearance of the scholars, as it says in al-Saheehayn.
11. The spread of zina (adultery, fornication)
12. The spread of riba (usury, interest)
13. The prevalence of musical instruments.
14. Widespread drinking of alcohol.
15. Shepherds competing in the construction of tall buildings.
16. A slave woman giving birth to her mistress, as is stated in al-Saheehayn. There are several views among the scholars as to what this means. The view favoured by Ibn Hajar is that there will be widespread disobedience among children, so that a child will treat his mother as a master treats his slave woman, with negligence and insults.
17. Widespread killing.
18. Widespread earthquakes.
19. Appearance of landslides, transformations and stones from heaven.
20. Appearance of women who are clothed yetnaked.
21. Believer’s dreams coming true.
22. Widespread giving of false testimony and concealment of true testimony.
23. Large numbers of women.
24. The land of the Arabs becoming once again meadows and rivers.
25. The Euphrates will uncover a mountain of gold.
26. Wild animals and inanimate objects will speak to people.
27. The “Romans” will increase in number andfight the Muslims.
28. The conquest of Constantinople.
The major portents of the Hour are those which were mentioned by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in the hadeeth of Hudhayfah ibn Aseed, and there are ten signs: The Dajjaal; the descent of ‘Eesa ibn Maryam (Jesus son of Mary); Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj (Gog and Magog); three landslides, one in the east, one in the west and one in the Arabian Peninsula; the smoke; the rising of the sun from its place of setting; the Beast; and the fire which will drive the people to their place of gathering. These signswill appear one after another, and when the first of these signs appear, the others will come soon after.
Muslim narrated that Hudhayfah ibn Aseed al-Ghifaari (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came out to us when we were discussing. He said: “What are you discussing?” They said: “We are talking aboutthe Hour.” He said: “It will never begin until you see ten signs before it.” He mentioned thesmoke, the Dajjaal, the Beast, the rising of thesun from its place of setting, the descent of ‘Eesa ibn Maryam (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj, and three landslides, one in the east, one in the west and one in the Arabian Peninsula, and the last of that is a fire which will emerge fromYemen and drive the people to their place of gathering.
