Bro are u kidding me?

your anaysis aint correlating atall, the AG and bicourtney are on the same side!!!!!!

The FG concessioned GAT to bicoutney, with the AG approval. . . . . . . .or am i missing something?

Enlighten me bro if i am.
Yes bro indeed you are missing sth. The AG is in cohoot with Bicourtney.

In Nigeria commonly law suits are used at the recommendation of a person in official position (to his collaborator)in order to 'force' the public official to take steps that are detrimental to state but favourable to the official (Aondoakaa) and collaborator (Bicourtney). That was the reason I said FAAN was conveniently left out of the suit no doubt again at the recommendation of Aondoakaa.

this has to be governments answer to Arik's cry over the shady handover of the
General Aviation Terminal (GAT) to Bicourtney. Nigeria na MAFIA
Thank you very much for that reminder. An issue that is directly traceable to the office of the AG who was sued by Bicourtney in its bid to takeove GAT while conveniently leaving out FAAN. Needless to say that it was the same AG- Aondoakaa who hounded Ribadu out of office and installed Farida Waziri. Hasnt this country had enough of this AG. I can see his hand already in this.
Politics › Re: Efcc Arrests Arik Air’s Chief Pilot by Pennywise(m): 11:45am On Sep 30, 2009
It appears Farida Waziri has made a complete detour from politicians and public office holders who made Nigeria famous for corruption and now prefers to do battle with the few remaining Nigerian entrepenours. Is this a woman thing?

Investment › Re: Sanusi At NSE: I Am Surprised People Are Selling Bank Stocks by Pennywise(m): 12:01pm On Sep 28, 2009
All these condemnation of Sanusi is unwarranted. He is an aboki but a good aboki who knows his job.

You have to be a victim of a failed/distressed bank to know what it truely means. Na so E be like film. My money is still tied up in Societe Gen bank till tomorrow. Any good thing has a price.

Ibru and co were removed from mgt but they still own zillions of shares nobody is taking away. They have also made zillions of dollars from these banks.

Abeg make all of una chill. If Sanusi has a hidden agenda, I have not seen it yet. I have been watching those northerners a long time. I know when they are up to no good.

What we had was unstainable. Someone had to do sth or else the whole structure would have crumbled. What we need is a few more CEO scapegoats.

The market? Dont worry about it. Things will pick up. Illegal pyramid schemes have always succeded in Nigeria inspite of losses let alone a Government backed and approved stock market.

A statement released by Ribadu this morning from his London base has further exposed the vulnerabilities of Ibori and his team.

It was a deft upper cut and Ibori just sank deeper.Ribadu's response was precise and clinically delivered- nothing like the long, childish unbelievable tale Elemunor wrote for his master. Maybe this Harvard trained media aide needs a little more motivation.

Politics › Re: Ibori: Ribadu Sought My Help In Bid To Become Ig by Pennywise(m): 5:29pm On Sep 26, 2009
This press conference suggests without doubt that the Ogidigboigbo and his team are in a panic mode.

It is a futile attempt engineered by Tony Eluemunor to counteract the ongoing media onslaught orchestrated by Nigerians in the diaspora. It is weak, feeble, uncordinated and lacks credibility. It will not influence the ongoing trial of his accomplices in any +ve way for the defence.

While Ibori is at his current media campaign someone should pls remind him to stay far away from the UK, Europe and the USA where Ribadu is getting royal treatment .

I am happy more and more people are getting to see the nuisance value of this attorney General. I saw it a long time ago. Incidentally the Nigerian press are on self censorship over critical opinions regarding this confirmed crook who ought to be behind bars.

Michael Aondoakaa's business in Government is purely to oil the wheels of corruption and he has done an excellent job of that so far. I am sure he has learnt a thing or two from his London visit and will seriously ponder the commonsense in such future visits.

Resource Management first then Resource Control. If not the fight will be on behalf of the elites
While this may sound nice, it demonstrates a lack of understanding of the issues involved. Oil is a finite commodity. By the time you perfect resource management, oil will be long exhausted and there will be nothing left to control. It also suggests that the owner will continue to endure humiliation and psychological defeat until he achieves good resource management. angry angry

Northern reps oppose N420b bailout.
http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/news/article02//indexn2_html?pdate=310809&ptitle=Sanusi%20canvasses%20Islamic%20banking

These uneducated northern reps just dont get it. They are so used to wallowing in lucre they have lost their senses completely.

If they oppose the bailout funds then their brother has no justification being governor of a CBN overseeing southern banks. The banks should be returned immediately to the owners. Mend should think again before they hand in any more arms. This is preposterous. The money in question is not even theirs.

I have read a number of Jakumo's posts and I have found he likes to play around with words a lot. This particular one rubbed most (decent) folks the wrong way. I know if things were different he would want to take it back. So its no use defending it.His usual trademark guile, tact and class were clearly absent in that post.

Pennywise, I hope you are not making excuses for Mrs Ibru because she is adorable and her husband is a billionaire. This is the more reason she should not have engaged in fraudulent activities that have wiped the value of the shareholders of the bank. Giving loans to a bank customer who presented a false identification is a Federal offense. I am sure the bank knew that or should have known that Ms Nanashetu Abudlai and Priscilla Bedell were one and the same. This is what due diligence is about.

Remember that the money in Oceanic bank does not belong to Mr&Mrs Ibru but to every investor and shareholder of the bank. Do you know how many Nigerians have had their hard earned dollars wiped out by the mismanagent in Nigerians banks?

Remember that an american billionaire Martha Stewart went to prison for selling her shares because of inside information she received from her boyfriend who was the Chief Executive of the firm. Ms Stewart only made a profit of $30,000.00 from the transaction yet she was found guilty of insider trading. The Chief executive was alos sent to prison for a longer term.

Nigerian banks are a reflection of the wider society and they are just as corrupt as the general population. It is time for Nigerians to stop worshipping rich people and realize that the actions of these so called wealthy people are taking food, health, safety and security away from ordinary Nigerians. The rich can always go to the best hospitals in Europe and send their children to foreign schools while Nigeria burns under poverty.
It is wrong to miscontrue my admiration of this woman as some form of idol worship.I have a natural weakness for beautiful women for which I have no apology. In any case the US through their thriving paparazzi industry has to be the biggest human idol worshippers. It hasnt stopped that country from being great.

@Topic
Most pple are under the illusion that the UK has got corrupt Nigerians covered with respect to money laundering. This is a 1.7 billion pound eye opener. No use going to Brazil or Argentina any more. UK is still very receptive.

James Ibori and 1st wife, Tessy
With a background of spurious delay tactics, attempted intervention by the Yar’Adua government, and a complete overhaul of James Ibori’s legal team, the Southwark crown Court in London will commence the trial of James Ibori’s female accomplices: Bimpe Pogoson (Personal Assistant on confidential matters), Theresa Nkoyo Ibori (Wife), Mrs. Udoamaka Okoronkwo (Mistress), Christie Ibie-Ibori (sister) and UK lawyer, Bhadresh Gohil, will commence in London on September 21 2009 .
The highlighted should read Aondoakaa attorney General and Minister of Injustice who himself deserves to be disrobed and docked. Every singular action of this Benue lawyer since he was sworn in has been directed at perverting justice.

Cecilia Ibru is such an adorable woman with a pleasant personality. You cant help but love that woman. Could she have been pushed by matrimonial circumstances? I mean 1.7 billion pounds out of one Nigerian bank?

She is the second and only surviving wife of the billionaire business magnate whose health has been reported to be precarious in recent times. Was Cecilia trying to position herself favourably in anticipation of the inevitable? This has the potential of triggering a major intrafamily feud. She is also the mother of Oboden Ibru a recognizable figure in Oil and gas (translate diesel and petrol importer). If he got financing from Oceanic bank (like I am sure he did) did he pay due interest and charges?

I can tell the tabloids are getting excited already and will be going in for the kill in the week ahead. We dont have the Kennedy family, but we do have the Ibrus grin grin grin

The question is how much tutelage will they actually get from this arrangement when the Govs can hire peeps who spent years undergoing training at Harvard and such other prestigious schs, wrote and passed exams to make sure they understood what was taught.

Of course this dumb suggestion can only come from third rate govs who have turned their states into shit-holes. Akpabio, Oshomhole and daddy's boy Bukola Saraki. This is an affront on their people, waste of state funds and an impeachable offense to a serious legislature.

ElRazur:
Rover 75 is called a "Poor man's Jag" over here. grin Don't get me wrong, they are very good car aesthetically, but like already pointed, they are let down by the engine in them.

My friend had the one with a V6 engine, leather trim, satellite navigation etc. However, the V6 do not really feel like one and to balanced things out, his own didn't go to the mechanic much, other than for regular service.

The Rover company folded up, partly because of poor innovations, changing market and competition. However, they may be back - I am sure some company with deep pockets would probably buy the intellectual rights etc.

Instead of buying a RHD in the UK, just pop over to Germany to pick them up - Check out Mobile.de [However, do not part with your money over the internet, that site have been ruined by Naijans Fraudsters] and the dealer usually leave their email and details.

Good luck if that is what you want, but have at the back of your mind that they are problematic. smiley
Thanks bro. A poor man's jag is exactly what it is. I think I have found my peace with rover 75. No space for another lemon.

@OP
On the average a good one will sell for about N2.2m in Nigeria.

I have no idea how much Rover 75's go for in Nigeria.

But I'd advice you to steer clear of any Rover running the K-series engines.
The Rover 75 comes in I4 or V6, and all are K-series to be avoided like the proverbial plague.
Sienna, I am a keen admirer of rover 75 and am seriously thinking of getting myself one. Could you elaborate on this observation.

u do know rhd is banned in nigeria right?
That is why OP is considering conversion. But are they all rhd? Dont they have factory made lhd rover 75 made for american users perhaps?
