Thanks, I am in Edmonton, guess I’d just wait a little then, thanks.
Hello,
Could you please tell why you want to switch province, if you don't mind.

And to which province?

Thanks

I practiced for 3 weeks with IELTS Buddy and Liz. I also did tests I could find online. I focused mostly on listening because I was most scared of it. On the average I scored 8 or 8.5 in practice tests.

My major weakness was maps till I actually stopped guessing (I would guess.... Reception must be close to main entrance or bathroom can't be close to the kitchen etc etc) and started following the directions.
Congratulations!
Pls which of these sites did you use specifically for your writing practice?

1. Got the gift a week before I fixed it, the fixed deposit account was opened a week before I submitted my application.

2. Evidence of transfer I used was the email alert from GTBank, I didn't submit statement of account. I also submitted a notarized gift deed.

Thank you. smiley
Great!

Thanks a lot for your time and congratulations once more.

It's PPR guys, see timeline below;

POF - Gift Deed (64%), while a fixed deposit account was opened with the entire POF. I got a reference letter from GTBank (thanks to my account officer whom I have never met, I simply sent a mail to her requesting the letter in IRCC format) and then added it to the fixed deposit certificate, as well as evidence of gift transfer, and a reference letter and statement from my PFA.
Congratulations and may the Maple land favour you and all yours.

Could you please give further details about your POF.

1) How close to your submission date did you get your gift deed and fixed deposit certificate?

2) When you mentioned "evidence of gift transfer". Did you include your SOA showing the transfer of the gift or you only used a Deed of gift?

Thank you and regards to your Super Woman.

A spouse can only claim points for work experience obtained only in Canada.

Not sure of the maximum size

Hello everyone,

Please I need your input. If a dependent spouse is not claiming points for education and work experience,is it ok if she answers no to the questions below when the primary applicant is creating a profile?

Does... have any post secondary education ?
Does... have any work experience?

I feel like if they answer no, there won't add it to their checklist.
I knew that a dependent spouse can claim points for education. Pls I want to know whether he/she can also claim points for foreign work experience
cos I didn't see that in the CRS tool.

I would also like to know if there is a maximum size of file that can be uploaded to a placeholder.

You shouldn't need to put your NOC C experience in personal history. You could put it in your employment history along with your NOC B experience. Show the times clearly when you fill in your profile & only make sure the letter clearly shows the duration (> 3 years, I supppose, for maximum points you intend to claim) you were engaged in your NOC B & NOC C jobs. You won't get points for your NOC C experience, but you'll get points for your NOC B. This way you don't have too worry about the letter. This is what I'd do if I were in your shoes.
Thanks so much. I'll go with your opinion.

Salutations to everyone here and congratulations to all the LVO gang members both in arrears and in advance.

Still on WORK EXPERIENCE.

ISSUE: My duties in the first 3 years of employment were largely under NOC C, got promoted and duties in the following 6 years fell under NOC B.

MY THOUGHTS: In creating my EE profile, I planned to quote only the NOC B job duties and get maximum points, then enter the NOC C job in personal history post-ITA.

QUESTION: Please how do I write the reference letter to combine the two NOCs and not end up confusing the VO.

NOTE: HR is not willing to give a reference letter, so I have to get a boss or a colleague to endorse my job description.

Thank you all.

Serious matter. Two vital issues raised.
No proof of sibling living in Canada proved and CRS score less than cut off.
It looks like you will get a refusal because of the CRS score being below cut off.
I don't know if they'll see it as misrepresentation sha. About cancelling your application, I'll say don't.
I think the CRS dropped cos they couldn't verify her sibling in Canada, once that is rectified then there will be no issues with CRS.

I just want to testify that I've crossed this Ielts hurdle.

First with BC LRWS 8.5, 9, 6.5, 7.5. I applied for the EOR and decided to sit for another one... 7 weeks and counting still no result... Thankfully, I won't be needing it.

2nd time with MOD IDP LRWS 8, 9, 8, 8...

Glory be to God.

Lastly, I just want to encourage everyone still trying to cross the Ielts hurdle, it is gonna happen. Keep your chin up and keep trying. It'll all end in praise.
Congrats!
Did you also use e2language for your writing practice?

I strongly doubt this
Sir, no need to doubt it as the info is from a top immigration officer who has nothing to gain from telling otherwise.

It is an essential requirement but those agents would simply forge it for you even without your knowledge.

Nice. Thanks. Do you know if I do it on behalf of someone else and do I need to go with any doc or passport photo? Her liaison office is close to my office.
It's possible to get it for the person from the liason office but be ready to answer questions about her village, clan, automous community, king/community head.

Go with her passport photo and it costs between 2k to 5k depending on the state.

From what I know so far, it's just formality.
My contact at Ikoyi passport office processed for 5 people I know without it. We just paid a little extra to avoid submitting it
Pls it's not just a formality. It is mostly asked of married ladies and people from border towns between Nigeria and neighbors.

The little extra you paid was likely used to procure a fake one for you.

It is possible to have someone get it from your hometown and send it to you or you get it from your state's liason office in Lagos.

cc: Newmum0615

I learned that it could issues when it's time for renewal.

I got a discount on my insurance with sharp insurance in Calgary. They requested for the FRSC letter and a letter from my insurance company in Nigeria indicating that i insured my car for at least 3 years and did not make any insurance claim (NO ACCIDENT).
Wow!

Thanks for sharing this info.

Kindly give a brief info on the letter from the insurance company in Nigeria.

Was it addressed to the Insurance company in Canada or 'To whom it may concern'.

What was the content of the letter?

Thanks

Let her evaluate her Highest qualification . As for transcript, my advice is let her apply for it to be sent by her University. Dont forget WES will verify.

Nah!

Better to evaluate both qualifications to earn more CRS and eligibility points.
