PoliticsRe: Osigwe: If Lagos Is In Tinubu's Pocket What Then Is Used To Develop The State? by Perfectbeing(m): 3:30pm On Sep 20, 2022
Thanksful:
Personal investments are what people term government investment in Lagos.

Most of those structures are personally owned and has nothing to do with Lagos state government.
Lagos State is practicing what is called capitalism. The Government makes the state viable for the personal investments.

That is what is practised in the United States.
Let your state Government make their state viable for personal investments like Lagos.

See if you can japa, please run away. Nigeria is spoiling ooo. Its gradually detoriating. Leave all the big big grammer politicians are using. Business are suffering and barely surviving forcing many to cut corners e.g measure10mm rods being sold in the markets today. They are barely 8mm. They are shrinking the moulds so you see why buildings aren't strong anymore, have you heard they now re bag cement. So many substandard materials abound..hmm . Patronage has dropped and profits reduced. Salaries of the glorified govt workers that used to look big before has been reduced to rubbish. Imagine someone who earned 200k when rice was 7,500 a bag with now thats 30k a bag or when a bag of cement was 1,700 now its 4k or then when fuel was N45 or even N85 to now that its N185. Let me give a practical example notice all those neighbors wey dey run diesel 24/7 for my area gen no the dey on for long again. Some business are now using big fuel gen instead. Even if Disel is high, dosent it mean they arent makimg enough profits to maimtain running disel anymore. I wonder how banks are currently faring. I see a future where alot of private entities will downsize massively. I fear that soon families won't be able to afford good accommodations. Anarchy is looming. Soon there would be a rise in discontent. Before majority where enjoying while minority suffered but now minority are enjoying while majority suffer. The funny part is that politicians will tell you Nigeria is doing well. I fear for the repercussions soon to follow.
Which country should we go to now?

No economy is doing great. Nigeria is even faring better than most. Bankruptcy in US*
1. Victoria's Secret declared bankruptcy.
2. Zara closed 1,200 stores.
3. La Chapelle withdrew 4391 stores.
4. Chanel is discontinued.
5. Hermes is discontinued.
6. Patek Philippe discontinued production.
7. Rolex discontinued production.
8. The world's luxury industry has crumpled.
9. Nike has a total of $23 billion US dollars preparing for the second stage of layoffs.
10. Gold's gym filed for bankruptcy
11. The founder of AirBnb said that because of pandemic, 12 years of efforts were destroyed in 6 weeks.
12. Even Starbucks also announced to permanently close their 400 stores.
13. WeWork isn't in a great spot either *Nissan Motor Co. may close down in USA.*

Nigerians don't really know what they want.

The truth is that Nigerians have disobedience to law and order in their DNA. This is the country where it is very difficult to work as a law enforcement agent. Everybody wants to be obeyed. Don't you know who I am? We need stiffer penalties to instill obedience into our people and system.
This is the same country where FG gave people a year to link their sims with their NIN and even kept shifting and shifting the deadline until some people even started mocking them that they don't know what they're doing.
Even one of my friend that already have NIN didn't link it with his sim and when I asked him why, his reply was , "I'm a Nigerian. We nor dey hear word."

When FG barred unlinked sims from making calls, the same Nigerians that were mocking FG for being clueless started criticising the FG for being too harsh.

Any serious Government that wants to work should disregard the rantings of an average Nigerian.

This is not correlated with Thiefnuibu's cluelessness exposed in what you quoted
Lame..

Tinubu asked the question "where are the cows?” because then, every single attack and kidnap stories in Nigeria when Buhari entered power newly was blamed on herdsmen. The media tried to portray a scenario that herdsmen attack increased because Buhari (who owns cows) was the President.
So when people started blaming herdsmen as the killers of Fasoranti's daughter, Tinubu asked, "where are the cows to suggest the killers are herdsmen"?

He also asked a similar question, "is Evans a herdsman?" when people were blaming herdsmen for every kidnapping in Nigeria.

A similar trend will begin next year when Tinubu becomes President. A trend will start coming where every road accident will be blamed on Agberos. So then, it wouldn't be surprising when you hear us asking, "where is the danfo bus?" or "is Odumeje an Agbero?"

As for your second picture, the aggrieved pensioneers were the ones owed by the military administration of Jakande. Go and verify.

When Tinubu was asked about insecurity, he said "recruit 50 million youths"

They asked him about inflation, he said "print more money"

They asked him about exchange rate, he said "salaries are not paid in dollars so we should not worry about FX rates"
The exchange rate of South Korea (home of Samsung, Hyundai and KIA motors) to the dollars is $1-1000 WON.
This doesn't make South Korea a failed country.

The Igbos were among those who caused the civil war.
Right from Zik who made secession a treasonable offense by opposing Awolowo's secession clause in the constitution, to the Igbos undergoing ethnic cleansing in the guise of a military coup, to Ironsi not punishing the coup plotters and even planning to promote them, to Ironsi also introducing the unitary form of Government which would favor his people more, to Ironsi and Ojukwu waging war on Adaka Boro for trying to secede the Niger Delta from Nigeria, To Ojukwu attacking the Midwest region after declaring Biafra even before FG have made any plan to attack.

Igbos caused the war and they were foolish to start a war they can't win.

Clap for yourself.
Things happened that you may never know about before those 4 years that Egypt increased their generation by 20,000 MW. It was not the first day of the first year that Egypt started that plan.

In 2006, Tinubu went to China to woo Chinese investors to build this new Lekki seaport. It is in 2022 (16 years later) that it became visible. What does that tell you?
Things does not happen in one day. Things of this magnitude takes time.

MasterJayJay:
See them celebrating transformer. Does transformer generate electricity?

Some Nigerians love suffering. You are not enjoying stable power and you are insulting Peter Obi that traveled to Egypt to study how their power infrastructure improved.

National grid under APC can be likened to a married man suffering from erectile dysfunction. We have lost count how many times the national grid has failed.

We need a quantum leap in solving the power problems of Nigeria.

Egypt added 25,000 megawatts (MW) of new power stations to their national electricity grid during the period from June 2014 to June 2018. Got that? 25,000 MW in just 4 years.

In October 2018, project consortium partners Siemens, Elsewedy Electric and Orascom Construction officially unveiled one of the largest combined cycle megaprojects in Beni Suef,
Egypt. The teams completed three plants totalling 14,400 MW in a record time of 27.5 months at the cost of €6 billion.

Buhari has been in power for 7 years +, how many megawatts has been added? He keeps borrowing and borrowing with no tangible thing to show for it. Some of you are like victim of ponzi schemes. Can't you see APC has scammed you for the past 7 years?

Peter Obi is looking for solutions to transform Nigeria, while others are looking for how to be in power.

Few months to go, that's when Buhari remembers he will buy transformers.
I've said it before, 90% of Obidients started following politics the day PO left PDP to Labour. Check the history of this transformer.
This transformer was being built since 2018, and it was 2022 that was the stipulated time for completion.

Also about the borrowed loans, don't be among the crowd talking about the loans. Actively do your own research. The loans are not being wasted.

Condemning things you don't know about doesn't tell good about your education.
