PoliticsRe: DJ Switch To Canadian Parliament: How Soldiers Shot At Us At Lekki Toll Gate by perfectgen(m): 2:59am On Nov 10, 2020
First and foremost, may the soul of those who died during the protest; wherever it may be all over the country rest in peace. Secondly, the Endsars protest was a civil matter and didn't require the presence of the Nigerian Army; they should not have been in Lekki at all.
However, one problem we have in this country with our leaders is the propensity to lie to us about issues bordering on our welfares, security and the true state of things. I abhor such behaviors and felt that was what we were fighting to correct, hence there is no justification for we the younger generation to engage in what has made this country lose value -Lies and inconsistencies.
Is it just me or no one noticed a critical part of DJ Switch initial statement is missing? DJ Switch initially claimed they parked those killed to the soldiers to show them those they have killed and the soldiers parked the corpses into their trucks and took off with them when leaving the massacre ground; this was the basis for the visitation to the Army Mortuary by the panel of inquiry set up by the LASG.
However, in this new post on what she said to the Canadian Parliament; it is reported that she said she counted seven fallen comrades without mentioning the army taking off with their corpses. These are issues of inconsistencies;
1. If she actually counted dead comrades, what number did she count as I believe that number will give us an idea of the actual massacre that happened; the number being counted needs to be finite and consistent.
2. Why didn't she mention to the Canadian Parliament that line of carrying the dead comrades to the soldiers who ended up carting away their dead bodies. This will have given a better insight into what happened that night because in my opinion, it will show that the army were there to actually kill and maim but with plans to clean up every trace pointing to them. The only problem with such assertion is they left eyewitnesses who claimed they were being shot at but lucky to make it out alive.
Another huge issue with DJ Switch claims is that who were those posting the supposed dead protesters online after the massacre; many of the claimed deceased later proved to be false. Those people who posted those images have done more harm than good to the massacre story and it watered down what really happened as many people are now doubting there was a real massacre.
I believe DJ Switch was at the epicenter of the massacre and must have some sort of proofs directly or from the other comrades she was protesting with. It is time she publish everything she has online so that the truth of what happened that day will be made known.

For speaking, this is not specifically geared at TEF/TCF practice, but it has helped 2 of my friends with general French speaking and listening. I also use it for practice. www.italki.com . Alliance Francaise used to do conversation classes, not sure if they are doing this currently.
Alliance Francaise has resumed and there are now physical classes for conversation

It's even too much, i bought my folio 9480m 2.5GHz, 8GB RAM, 4 hours battery, 500GB harddisk for 75k.
Truthfully, you got a good deal, considering the spec you just mentioned. I wont ever say the price is too much; only the seller knows how much he bought it and the state it is in today. Anyone hoping to buy can then decide if it is fair pricing and affordable.
Having said that SDD is relatively more expensive than HDD so if you were to have bought 500GB SDD, you will have spent more.
I however appreciate your looking out for me. Thanks

Bonsoir Tout le monde,
Good initiative for those who created this forum. I am not really new to French; I did a six month crash program on it about 15 years ago and became quite good in reading and communicating in French but have become very rusty. Can I learn and pass the TEF exam by using online resources alone or it is advisable I attend classes in Alliance Francaise or IEF?
Likewise, for those who may have written the exam, which online resources would you proffer to a learner like me?
I know my Professeur de Francaise then used to advice us to communicate within ourselves so I won't mind having study partners in Lagos who we can learn and build up our French vocabularies together.
HI. I think we might be on the same level. We can connect to practice and learn together.
Cool; let us connect.

I think picking on the floor will be advantageous as prices are getting lower.
Thanks so much ma. I will monitor it on the floor to see if it can go lower than the right issues price, then I can buy more units.

Greetings to the house. Please I need advice from veterans on a step I plan on taking.
I have some units of Aiico insurance; I am aware of their rights issue presently. I am planning to sell off all my units while trying to get it back through the rights issue channel.
This will give me at least 10% profit, which I deem is fair enough. How tenable is this move?

Since you have prior knowledge of the language, why not also try the TEF sample exams on You Tube and on Prepmyfuture to gauge where you stand exam prep wise and what areas you need to focus on.

Some You Tube links for CO and CE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kn6NWwQQByY

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIjyVp8XTQ4

In my opinion, interaction with others may only be critical for speaking EO, everything else you can wing it solo until the lockdown is over.
Thank you for the advice, I will start refreshing my knowledge online first, then try the sample exams after which I will determine the way forward. I really appreciate your assistance with the links.

Just candid advice and nothing more. It's up to you to take it or leave it. There are two recognized way of learning French to pass TEF: Go to an established physical class that have results in what you're looking for or alternatively go to an online school with the same results. There are two secrets that I was told by my online tutor that passing French requires two things: Knowing French thoroughly and understanding TEF system. You must get the two to pass TEF and obtain the required results. As per online resources, if you are talking about apps, etc I don't think that can take you beyond A2 and then your speaking may suffer.
Thank you for the advice.

Hi everybody,
Please I need to know if the requested WES transcript for a Nigerian University can be sent from another country. If I have my sealed transcript in school envelope and choose to mail it to WES directly from Canada. Is it acceptable?
Secondly, what was the last approved November express entry pool score?

Thanks
