I agree with your list but top of the challenges in light; remember my UI days; light won't blink so at the end lectures would be affected. |
Emekamex:They will surely let the public know when they are sending them. For now, they are only preparing the troop for an expected course of action which the President is also trying to avoid by visiting Jammeh and trying to let him handover, so let us be patient and not jump the gun. |
Icecomrade:Seriously, what do Nigerians want. From the look of things, PMB is soliciting for Jammeh to handover before there is need for an imminent war but if issues get bad, there need be a plan on ground; hence the preparation of the Army battalion that will be sent. This spells what is called a covert operation in the army which should have been clarified by Premium Times before spilling the beans. If President Jammeh takes the cue like Idi Amin of Uganda and start keeping hostages now from the Nigerian in Gambia, people like you will still blame the government of being weak and not proactive. By the way, how many people did Obama involve or how many news media did they consult when the US government went after Osama Bin Laden; to get the best out of covert actions, never let them see you coming. |
Hi, seems we still don't have anyone with information in this forum. I will keep on updating the topic till someone helps with the information. I there is anybody also planning to run the UI MBA programme, please let us agree ideas here. Thanks |
Abeg, hide the pictures of this car from Senator Dino Melaye before he sees it, sells his whole constituency, and buys it. |
Hi, I just thought of same thing today too and surprisingly there is no known story of her whereabouts. Did you hear anything about her being found cos it has been long. |
Good afternoon all, seems nobody has any information on the topic yet, I am still looking forward to anybody who has idea or can help with the questions. Thanks |
fergie001:Fergie, thank you so much. I will be expecting the response. |
Having desired to improve my management shills, I am highly interested in the UI Executive MBA program and since I have not been able to get sufficient information about the programme from their website, I opted to ask if anybody is presently running the programme so that I can get basic information on how it is being run. My intention is to apply for the programme come April when the form comes out. Basically, what I wish to know include: (a) How flexible is the programme; since I have a very tight work schedule (b) How practical and effective is the programme; I am looking forward to gathering sufficient skills that can improve my management skills and not just to add a certificate (c) On what days are classes held and what is the structure of the examination time table? (d) What are the entry requirement for the programme? (e) What is the estimate of all required cost to complete the programme? I have sourced these information officially and yet to be satisfied as most of those I sourced it from in the school of Postgraduate studies seem not to know too much about it; learnt they just started the executive MBA 2015, so anybody who can give verifiable information on the programme and answer some of the raised questions will be helping me in making my decision. Likewise, we can use this to build a thread for those of us interested in the Executive MBA for the 2016/2017 session. Thank you. |
fergie001:Nice exposition, I am however interested in UI executive MBA programme, do you or anybody in the house have succinct information on how it is being run and general requirements? |
deolu2000:Op is correct, I witnessed the traffic firsthand and I can tell you it isn't something I pray to witness again; we had to take the ikorodu-sagamu link road after getting tired of the traffic only for us to join it back at Mowe on our way back in the evening; at this time, it has extended to Berger, Alausa Secretariat, Ojota-maryland and third mainland bridge; it was a total standstill so we opted to park in a filling station and walk to where we could take a bus home. |
Henry240:I am not sure but I am guessing it is 'Passport of Mallam Ilia' |
Do you have 2004 rav4 naija used or Tokunbo? |
Hi, I have added you on WhatsApp twice without any message going out, add me on xxxxxcccccc let's negotiate |
Hi, I am interested, what is the location and on what number can we do WhatsApp chat? |
colllins:Hello, is the car still available? Your WhatsApp number isn't going. |
drnairalov:if you wrote this story, I advise you to write a book because your book will sell; i like your style of writing. The story was engaging and your last statement killed it; good work |
soberdrunk:Please, don't let bias against her success give you the notion that she is being enriched at the expense of the Niger Deltan, Folorunsho Alakija has the oil mining lease for the Agbami Offshore which by the onshore-offshore dichotomy law means it doesn't belong to any state but the government; just so you know it takes over one hour by chopper to get to the said FPSO from any land location so don't blame her for the insensitivity of the government to the general welfare of the populace because she still pays her tax and still supports in CSR. However, since you already should know that most of the Niger-deltan leaders are doing far better than the general people that follow them, when are you going to ask them about who they have been able to help and uplift rather than looking for a bogus fall person. I pray and hope that we can all say one day that we are prosperous as a citizen of Nigeria but advocating for preferential treatment because of the so called resources is begrudgingly backward and unnecessary. |
BiafraBushBoy:I disagree that only the negatives was pointed out; the writeup literally indicated the positives too. If you do everything posited in the article, you may grow poor but if per-chance you inculcate the habit of not doing all aforementioned, your tendency for riches is high. It all goes back to your basic application of what you see in the write-up. |
TippyTop:I agree she may have a diplomatic passport which as concluded by you, means she is presently free from prosecution, but have you thought of the weight of Fayose's statement that it is because the US government will arrest and detain her that she has not travelled to the US in the last three times PMB visited. The question is therefore if she actually committed the crime as proclaimed by Fayose, why will she still be afraid of travelling to the US, while in possession of a diplomatic passport; that argument is therefore null and void. If she can travel to the US and come back without being detained nor arrested as Fayose promised, Fayose and those who believe his antics and lies owe us the duty o keeping shut. |
thelegend1:I agree you may be right but do you think that is right. Between 2007 and 2010, some of us who invested heavily in the financial sector lost most of our monies running into millions, due to businessmen and politicians borrowing and not paying back their debt yet living larger than live while we, the investors count our loss. What is being done in AMCON is the responsibility of any sane government so don't start mentioning political undertone here. Lest I forget, can you mention irrefutably, one businessman who has non- performing loan, still living large yet his company has not been taken over by AMCON? |
989900:Seriously, being an ardent student of entrepreneurship, I have once respected and taken my time to study Jimoh Ibrahim, and my only conclusion is that he is too sneaky and not someone that should be given any considerable mention; business wise. He buys up companies, take up their assets while pretending there are no liabilities, find a way to garnish the company before the general populace and then gets people to support and invest into the company; with the promise of high profitability due to so called imminent expansion drive. Having raised the money, he pushes all available assets into another solely operated business, then claim market changes, leading to the collapse of the initially viable company, only to emerge as a sole owner of the newly established company. Crumbling other businesses to raise singly operated ones by you, brother Jimoh is a crime, hence people like Jimoh Ibrahim should be in jail. |
candidbabe:I won't lie to you, you have a reasonable argument but the questions are: 1. Has PMB started a probe of the Halliburton case? If he has started the probe and didn't mention names like Atiku, we will all question his integrity. 2. Did Fayose mention Atiku as one of the convicted persons or Aisha Buhari; the onus is on government to prove the said Aisha Buhari is the first lady or not and not to address Atiku being part of the bribery as he wasn't mentioned by Fayose. 3. Why is Fayose running from pillar to post when in actual fact over 1.2 billion naira has been traced to his personal account? Is he saying that because of the purported link of the presumed Aisha to the Halliburton case, he should not be investigated on his involvement in the arms deal? The Nigerian government is presently focusing on the arms deal, let him give a tenable answer on his involvement and if found not wanting, he will earn all our respect rather than depending on sentimental attachments. |
Amelian:If you are truly the way you described yourself, blessed and lucky is the man who marries you. Keep up the good work and stop being bothered if men ask what you are bringing to the table; your values are sufficient to encourage the man. Have a pleasant night. |
Amelian:Nice perspective for saying men are not meeting up but I can bet your mum never asked for Brazilian hair and predominantly contented with whatever your dad could afford unlike the ladies of today who want everything while giving back nothing. However good and responsible men and women still exists. |
achi4u:This is pure hypocrisy. So you can't compare the beautiful places in warri, eket, bonny, ph, akure, yenogoa etc with your pictures of lagos and Abuja. Rather, you posted pictures of creek as if dirty Ajegunle and Bariga are not part of Lagos that your so called golden egg should have developed. So in your mind, that is how the whole of lagos looks like. Please stop this delusion. |
ganisucks:I love the fact that you are enthralled by Fayose, however his first duty is to those who elected him which are the people of Ekiti. Unfortunately, he is yet to pay them because he has been depending on the government that he had been quick to criticize to provide sustenance for his state workers. So, as a governor, he can't look within to create means to cover their recurrent expenditures? If this is the kind of leader you expect people to be like, I will pass as Nigeria deserves better. |
Ucheosefoh:I get tired when I hear intellectuals talk like this, when they crippled the economy during OBJ's time, who suffered? It was me and you that lost our jobs and source of livelihood. Stop talking out of hate and racial prejudice. The government cannot afford to standstill and watch while the sovereignty of Nigeria is challenged by whosoever, be it militants, be it Bokoharam, IPOB or even OPC. We need to stop supporting what is wrong and source for ways to amicably settle our differences. Just so you know the oil companies whose installations this NDAs are attacking already have an MOU with their host communities which has been used in empowering them so why should they bear the brunt of foolish decisions by our government and self-centred citizens. People working in these companies have started losing jobs while all our senators, ministers and presidential team are yet to lose theirs. Obviously you still have a job so you think you can't be touched by the ailing economy but you can never be sure. |
sexychacha:Sorry, without informing us, it is now 1400 instead of 1k, when you have up to that amount on the phone, try again. |
Rollingdice:If you read books on the 1966 coup, you will come to an understanding that the coup was not a tribal one but one moved by political intuition of those who participated in the coup. The only reason why no major Igbo man; this I say because at the end of the day, they didn't see the politicians or top military men in terms of tribe but simply as corrupt, was killed is because of the same reason why if I am today going to invite the top ten people in Nigeria politics and military, I may not find one Igbo man, they were largely not in the Centre then; those who could have been touched as deemed corrupt by the 1966 coupist or revolution fighters as they chose to call themselves were Azikiwe, who was just a ceremonial president and safely not in the country, Ironsi, whom due to the weakness of Major Okafor's planning in Lagos was not affected, Unegbe, who was stationed in Ibadan, where Ademulegun didn't have much control, Ojukwu; whom those guys also saw as a revolutionary himself. The major success of the 1966 coup came from Nzeogwu, who was stationed in Kaduna, hence most casualties came from there, but it wasn't because it was a tribal based coup. However, Festus Okotie-Eboh, who was deemed an Easterner then, because there was no separation then, was however killed. I believe it was more of a failure thing than a plan that the major Igbo people deemed corrupt by the revolutionaries didn't die. |
KillJoy62:Sir, permit me to say that from my understanding of the books on the 1966 coup I have read, 10 officers were involved but 3 of them actually planned the coup, Nzeogwu, Ifeajuna, and Ademulegun however Ifeajuna was the most radical of the three but he can never be said to be the person who planned the coup; they all had it in mind and after meeting together shared ideas that practically lead to the coup. |
Ninilowo:Sir, this is a subject of disagreement as Madiebo's claim has been refuted by Ademulegun, who was one of the active participants in the 1966 coup and to the best of my understanding since Madiebo was not actively involved in the coup, the best he can do is account from other people's statement, I implore you to read "why we struck" by Ademoyega Ademulegun. |
