HardMirror:His name is Bayo Omoboriowo. A very true professional photographer who knows his trade; I hope that he gets retained as the state house photographer. |
What they are trying to tell you is that the 100M you wish to make annually in few years time may not be able to do more than what 10M can do now, due to inflation. It is like going to make about 200k monthly in 2013; it will be above $1k and you will be able to meet up with the basic needs but if you make same 200k monthly today, you cannot do much. On your statement of spending naira since you are in Nigeria, until we start producing the bulk of what we use here in Nigeria, the dollar will determine our standard of living. Are you not going to need a car, basic amenities and probably send your kids abroad for Masters, vacation etc. It is at that point that you will understand that the 100M in naira does not have the anticipated value anymore aremso: |
None of the men can boldly say that he is married to her; by law, someone must have given her out and it must be legally registered, which is missing in both cases. Jokes apart, the woman looks like an opportunist that cannot be wifed; let me borrow the slang - "she belongs to the street". Once a better paying maga shows up, she will use technicality to disavow the second man since he has not paid her dowry to stylishly move on. The first man is however wrong in arresting the second man; he has no contract with him. He should have arrested the wife and charge her to court for practicing polyandry. |
I am smiling at this Transcorp jackpot for some of you but we the long timers that came in during IPO around Ndi Okereke's time still have our haircut yet to grow back. I just hope that it will keep picking up; maybe we can make our investment capitals back onegentleguy: |
Before recapitalisation, Oceanic and Intercontinental banks looked like one of rhe best places to expect steady flow of bonuses and dividends, yet we lost almost everything invested there. I can never make long term investment without watching what's happening in the market again. I felt I was insured by investing well, but long-term outlook seems not good enough in NSE where we have so many leeways through which boards can play shareholders, without any reprimand; Oando is another example Bizibi: |
We win some, we lose some. I have kept some stocks for almost 20 years but you see any shares involving Jimoh Ibrahim and Femi Otedola, I avoid them since I don't know how to jijo and I don't have money for cardiac surgery yet. onegentleguy: |
Add Forte oil; I dodnt only take a haircut on that stock, I became bald; all the way from.162 naira entry price to selling it at 19 naira. Justcul: |
Good morning everybody. Please does anyone here have a link on how to get a short-let 1-room apartment or shared apartment in Toronto? Any location close to College Street, College Station, M5G will be appreciated. Thanks |
Inasmuch as this sounds funny, I doubt Slawormir, the damn nigga is a Yahoo boy. Nobody can be a yahoo boy in this country and be that bold to say it online. My suspicion is that he works with any of the enforcement organisations and only creating a pseudo-fraud personae that will encourage other trusting fraudsters to source him and in the process be arrested. I may be wrong but I doubt he is really a yahoo boy. Having said that, I think the fake Slawormirr needs to be made to return the Op's money. From what I have heard on how people recovered their money from fraudsters, try this method. Have you mistakenly transfered Money to wrong account and the owner blocked you? or you are duped thru your bank account? and then later realized that you have been scammed or a mistake on your part? And the receiving bank is not cooperating? HOW TO RETRIEVE YOUR MONEY AFTER YOUR WRONG TRANSFER Please read careful and learn. Many people don't always know what to do, so today am sharing with you things you do, when you realize a page you paid for a service or goods is ghosting you: 1. Write out the Full name and account number of the page or person. 2. Go to the last notification your bank sent you after you made the payment (via mobile app or text) copy out the "TRANSACTION ID NUMBER". 3. Go to any branch of the scam artist's bank (the bank you transferred to), ask to see the CUSTOMER SERVICE in charge of FRAUD. While you are there, send an email to SCAMMER'S BANK or the d bank u wrongly paid to and copy CBN FRAUD DESK (anticorruptionunit@cbn.gov.ng) n also cpd@cbn.gov.ng & contactcbn@cbn.gov.ng, this will ginger the bank to take it up fast. What should you expect from this? The culprit/suspects account will be PLACED ON HOLD. His BVN will be blocked permanently. No account will ever be opened neither will he be able to transact banking business in that name until he clears himself with the bank. Meaning he/she cannot transfer or withdraw until they visit the bank, and when they do, the bank will contact the police and the suspect when proven guilty will sign a waiver allowing the bank to refund your money. @ Seun @ lalasticlala @ Mynd 44 Your assistance is needed in moving this post to the frontpage, where some of the ABU stakeholders will be able to see the request and hopefully help address it. We are quite many in this boat without certificates. Thanks |
Cowbell521:No; Masters of Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University |
PlsBanMe:Thanks; I will pursue your advice as an alternative |
Sequel to my complaint online on why I regretted registering for Ahmadu Bello University MBA program in September 2018; https://www.nairaland.com/4732027/ahmadu-bello-university-online-mba, I am back again with a similar complaint. Firstly, I wish to appreciate the Nairaland administrators who helped push the initial matter to the front page then, therefore giving it the much-needed sensitization, which made the school address the matter. It seems the reason many things are not working in Nigeria is because we are too silent on matters that should be addressed openly. I have since completed the ABUMBA program since 2019; I wrote my last exams in August, 2019 and completed all dissertation works November, 2019. However, till date, I am yet to collect my certificate; same applies to all students who registered for the program. As a matter of fact, we have waited for almost two years now without the school providing our certificates. We have sent letter of inquiries to the school and it has been same old story; the certificates will soon be issued. All through this period, ABU has been admitting students for the MBA program twice or three times a year; some were still admitted two months ago, while making us pay extra fees for statements of results, transcripts, and educational assessment verifications. After numerous requests on our certificates, we were sent online links in December, 2020 to upload our passport photographs in expectation of the certificates. Since then, the school has not come out to tell us when we will be getting the certificate; what do we call a program run in a prestigious university like ABU whose certificates cannot be accessed after two years of completion. While trying to understand if the school even has any plans in place for us; seeing how their concern was more on admitting new students than settling the ones who had finished the program since, I couriered a letter of Inquiry to the ABUMBA Distance Learning Center Director since 22nd July, 2021. While the letter was received in the Director's office, he has not as much as acknowledged the receipt of the letter nor addressed the issues of certificates raised in the letter. This is my humble appeal that stakeholders in the education sector come to our rescue. Many of us did the MBA with intentions of improving ourselves and using the certificate to increase our career opportunities, yet after paying almost 800,000 naira on a Nigerian MBA, we cannot even access the certificates that we paid for. I keep getting messages from people here on Nairaland on if the program is worth it; while I won't lie about not enjoying the program after some of the issues raised initially were addressed, what is the enjoyment in an educational qualification without a certificate to show for it. Whoever has the wherewithal to help us address this issue should please come to our aid. Thank you all. |
Karleb:I am actually not trying to discredit his story, I am just surprised he remembers everything that happened including car brand, meal cost, song titles, his exact behavior and the most minute details as if it just happened; this rarely happens in real life, which tells me it is either fiction or a dream. |
Patrioticbreed9:You will soon wake up from this dream ![]() |
Mcy56:Thank you ma; you have been helpful |
Good afternoon house, please who can tell me what is happening in Sunu Assurance; should it be held, sold or more units acquired? |
I have always been against this large pension being paid to past governors; I have always felt with what they got while in government, all they are entitled to is a good gratuity. Also considering Lagos state's present huge debt profile, it will be very hard to continue servicing the debts while increasing our excesses; one of which the huge pension is. Personally, I like Gbadamosi but this his statement is synonymous to a wild goose chase; there was a law in place that allowed such wanton spending and except he wants our laws to be of no value, the repeal will only ensure no other past, present or future governor will be paid the pension again. We cannot be asking people who used the same law to circumvent things and get the heavy pensions to refund what they already collected if we are going to stick to the rule of law. Having said that, it is surprising how fixated many of us are on Lagos alone; are we aware that there is a record 21 states in Nigeria with similar laws? I guess it is time we shift the focus from Lagos alone to all the remaining states in Nigeria still paying the pension to ensure equity and accountability across the country. Lagos is not the only corrupt state so let us take it across board. |
