I don't really know what's been happening to our governors these days. |
Kogi Governor escaped fatal road accident with a broken thigh. Governor Idris Wada of Kogi State may have lost one of his legs in the fatal road accident that immediately killed his aide. Doctors at the Lokoja Specialist Hospital where Mr. Wada received first aid treatment said his leg is “totally broken.” The doctors said the governor was brought into the intensive care unit with a severely fractured femur, a senior government official said. He added that the doctors said the governor is in good condition and did not sustain major head or spinal cord injuries. “There is hope,” he said. The state government arranged for a helicopter which flew the governor to the National Hospital in Abuja, a source at the government house told PREMIUM TIMES. The governor is in “serious pains,” the aide, who saw the governor at the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital, said. The governor’s convoy was involved in an auto crash on Lokoja-Ajaokuta road, around Salem University on Friday afternoon. The accident left his aide-de-camp dead, and injured two other officials. The cause of the accident is still unknown. The stretch of road where the accident occurred has no potholes – a major cause of accidents on Nigerian roads. A witness told PREMIUM TIMES that the part of the road immediately before the accident spot had “banking issues.” Banking is the necessary force that helps cars avoid skidding while moving on curved path/road. http:///qVxhzlYL Let's pray for his health |
Billyonaire: I am sorry but your dates and amounts about Dangote are false, wrong and lies. With due respect, Dangote made it clear that he loves Nigeria and believes in Nigeria and makes prudent investment decisions. The tax regimes of the Feds are same for each business bracket, but Dangote puts so much billions into a business that his competitors can hardly match his investment prowess and when the products comes in, he reduces the price regime and his competitors cant meet up his capital injection and profiteering management ideas. If I import lets say Cement with 20Billion, and you import with 1million, and when our products arrives, I haurd my 20 billion imports and allow you to sell cement at 2000 Naira lets say for 1 month, then I open up my warehouse and flood the market at 1200 naira...will you be in business ? Hell to the no; its called business strategy. So, if your interest is in making money in this life, then you got to get rid of sentiments. Business is business. Let me add this before I go and play gulf. There are millions of businessmen in Nigeria including you, and according to you, (based on unproven lies) past presidents invest with Dangote, why did they chose to invest in Dangote's business and not yours, and not mine, and not Ibeto's and not your uncle's and not, I can go on and on. It means there is something maverick about Dangote that people chose to invest in his business. It is called Sincerity in English Language. It is called Business Acumen in business parlance, it is called Managerial Prowess in management lexicon...I can go on and on. You should be worshipping Dangote, cos he has hired more than some local govt areas.Billyonaire...I don dey suspect you. It's like you work for Dangote? Hehehehehehehehehe. From your analysis, you seems to know him very well. |

HNosegbe: Isn't it funny how the Jonathanians on this forum have expertly avoided addressing the ISSUE at hand (namely, the shameful, wicked, diabolical appointment of a reviled, corruption-tainted shameless old man to one of the most sensitive positions in the land) and have instead resorted to name-calling in a vain attempt to distract the rest of us from the core issue being discussed?Billyonaire said something |
