agbameta: Keep quiet with your sentimental and emotional rant,

You people spew the most absurd and retaarded nonsense in the history of mankind. You wake up everyday making up % after % as if it means nothing, as if % is just a another A B C D you spew just for the heck of it. % is a statement of fact based on credible survey, data gathering and aggregations, not some silly and senseless tribal sentiments you people throw around like cavemen.

Do you even have any official data to support your insane and ridiculous claim with? Damn!!! Are you people for real or this is just some kind of disease and flawed genetics.?
compare your post and the one you quoted and tell me which one is an emotional rant.

stebell: My guy forget Amaechi. This his greater Ph City he's building only on his ethnic land, I don't see hw it affects de common man. Other parts of de state has land mass but no it must be in Ikwerre land alone. Amaechi cannot fight powers dat be (GEJ) I guess dats who yu are referring. Reason being dat de entire region will be better off having a son as president rather than hv a vice president there. Many a peeps in de state are earnestly waiting for his tenure to finish. He wants to be lord and master of Rivers politics.

agbameta: Exactly what's the so called 70% goods? Consumables? Construction equipments, Farming equipments, automobiles? Just what?

1. How many people are left in the east to consume 70% goods entering Nigeria? What are they doing with it?

2. What and where are the construction activities in the east because the east is not synonymous with projects and they haven't commissioned any in a long time?

3. The buying power and population needed to consume 70% of the goods entering Nigeria is not in the east, even the meager GDP of the whole eastern region can not support 70%.

4. And this 70% figure came from where exactly? From inside ya pata or some official government data?

I know you people like to beat your hollow chest needlessly, but try pump your breaks sometimes because your proclamations gets too absurd, ridiculous, kindergarten and elementary sometimes.. grin grin
spoken like one who has never been to the east.we have 'original' products, china made and aba made.never heard of ibadan made or ondo made.why? Its simple.theres lots of manufacturing going on in the east.when i mention 'east' i refer both to the geographical entity AND the people.meaning? The ' east' is not just in nnewi and aba but also in lagos, kano or even PHC.there is a spare parts village here in ph called ikoku populated by 'you know who' .they just dont sell parts anymore here.they produce and now assemble parts here.i kid you not.and we are talking of a place not up to 1 KM in length.the east might be small, but the output from its people is too enormous!we consume and use the above goods you listed in large quantities i make bold to say.if you still dont believe me, maybe you can tell me why the benin ore highway does not survive each rainy season.

playmode: The comments on this thread confirmed what i have always suspected that the average Nigerian is the d0mbest human being alive. The government is building a deep seaport in Akwa Ibom and people are saying things like "this will be the fall of lagos".Jeez are you Nigerian this primitive in your thinking? Any intelligent person will be be praying for every region of Nigeria to develop so that our people can enjoy after so much suffering but here we tribalizing a simple as as infrastructural development.I urge you Nigerians regardless of your tribe to reason intelligently and stop acting like d0mb n_ggers.

I am not a fan of GEJ because he is corrupt and has not done much since becoming President ,that however will not stop me from appreciating any development in any part of the country. The more infrastructure Nigeria gets the better for all of us.
nigerians are damaged goods! Dont kid yourself that because you probably live abroad, you are somewhat exempt from the above.the concept of a detribalized nigerian is a big fraud.never forget that!

3 people will smile home to their families because of me today and i thank God for being able to affect people with the opportunities i receive. I am only able to help the poor if they have a skill.

They only advocate online for the poor to feel righteous. Very sentimental lot, I try to be logical in all my dealings not emotional. Ask them what they've done for the poor today and I'm sure the answer is "Nothing".
i applaud you for what you v 'done' for the poor around you.if you were governor, what would you do for them?

interesting! I see onyeka is still as controversial as ever...lol.dude is from my community and grew out of a humble and deeply religious background.but in spite of all that still remains a dedicated atheist....lol.of course from his writing its no surprise he cant grasp the concept of GOD. @op.... I agree.theres no honest person.the fact a taxi driver returned money does not make him honest.our honesty as individuals is dependent on the prevailing situation in which we find ourselves.the fact that i save a child today does not mean i wont shoot a man tomorrow if it suits me .i dont see anything childish about that article and neither did i see where the writer claimed he was honest.

agbameta: Major goods and services including project construction materials travels to major economic zones experiencing major economic and constructon activities and this doesn't exist in the east.

Not a single major project is going on in the eastern part of Nigeria and they haven't commisioned any major project in the area in years apart from repainting of the enugu airport which is nothing really.

There are no significant economic factors in the east hence the reason why every ibo man and woman look elsewhere for their daily bread and never in the east.

You people need to sart reasoning beyond emotions and empty utterances that doesn't jive with common sense and reality...
very funny! Most of the goods that come in through lagos you think are headed for where? Lol.
@payless aka THE REAL SINCERE NIGERIAN

Believe me, I know how you feel. Be strong man.

@ ACM10:
I lost a dear friend in a similar situation some years back when we were in school. I met this lady during my 100 levels registration and we became freinds instantly. Her physical appearance could make anyone act stupíd cos, she was extremely pretty, tall and voluptuous. If you know the Shuwa Arabs, from far side of Nigeria and Chad. But my dream of being with her evaporated few months later. As a geology student, their association normally organize excursion for their freshers in their second semester of 100 LEVELS.

Unfortunately for them the movement was a night journey and they got into a robbery scene close to Abuja and the armed robbers ordered every one to lay on the road. During that darkest hour, then a sound of a truck with faulty head lamps increased towards their direction, the driver of truck held a touch light from his position which he uses to navigate the road(can you believe this nonsense?) and they had to jump off the road to the road side for safety. My friend, a typical ajebutter from a very wealthy family, jumped off the roads. After some moments, according her course mate she noticed she had some minor cuts below her kneecap. Few seconds later, she started screaming and wailing which scared the hell out of the robbers, her course mates thought she was just faking it.

The leader of the gang had to let them go. They were lucky to get back to university of Jos teaching hospital and the doctors said her left leg must go off, cos she contacted tetanus which is spreading fast to the other body parts, the hospital contacted her dad, the dad asked her to hold on, saying he can't trust Nigerian doctors and, he immediately got an air ambulance from Germany which will arrive in the next ten hours.

She died 2 hours later. Ambulance landed within schedule but it was just too late to save her. That was how my goldmine blew away within 2 days. She was literally paying all my bills. Such is life bro.
i know this is a serious issue but your last three sentences got me rolling on the floor.

Politics › Re: Barbaric And Satanic Fashola Must Pay For This!!! by phantom(m): 8:53am On Jul 25, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: There's no justification for the atrocious act of deporting Nigerians in Nigeria. Its not about party or tribe. It is evil and satanic to deport Nigerians in their own country. No matter the menace you claim beggars have constituted in Lagos, Fashola should look for CREATIVE ways of solving the problem. If the beggars are doing illegal business, then Fashola also embarked on an illegal act of deportation of Nigerians in Nigeria.

What cant the state govt consider creative solution such as:

1. Rather than waste energy in deporting these people why cant the state, in collaboration with police, investigate and identify ring leaders of the beggars, arrest and prosecute them? Just like guys on this forum ask for arrest and prosecution of sponsors and leaders of Boko Haram, rather than only footsolders, the state govt can also identify, arrest and prosecute ring leaders of beggars in the state. You know the effect this will have, it will cut off substantially the influx of more beggars

2 Mop up some of the beggars in the streets and take them to rehabilitation homes. The cost of feeding beggars cannot and can NEVER be too much for the state to bear.

3 Fund the medical treatment of those who require treatment. Yes, this can be done, especially at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital

4. Encourage well meaning individuals, private institutions and religious bodies to also establish rehabilitation homes that'll complement that are being run by the state govt

If the above measures and other creative interventions are done CONSISTENTLY, the number of beggars and destitutes will reduce substantially.

Deportation of Nigerians in Nigeria cannot and can NEVER be part of the solution in any circumstance. It is evil, inhumane, barbaric and satanic.
interesting and then beggars in other parts of the country on hearing about free lunch in lagos get on a lagos bound bus the very next minute.
