Ambode's second tenure will be bloody as hell. Hunger will really deal with Danfo owners and landlords. Many houses will be demolished.

He used danfo for campaign now he is going to ban it.

A vote for Ambode in 2019 will be a vote for hunger. Landlords, Danfo owners be wise oo.

Mr man stop making yourself a laughing stock. Igbos are not emotionally pliable like you are trying to present and I know you are Igbo.

We've grown past empty promises. You sound like a paid hack without honor. Go get a proper job.

Gloating won't change the situation on ground. Johesu has nothing to lose but everything to gain. The next minister of health or minister of state for health won't be physician.

Nigerians are now more aware that you are sitting duck with JOHESU professionals. Your influence is wanning already and you are desperate to salvage what is left of it.

When will you stop being fooled by hopeless and empty political promises. The so called fela man has he ever condemned the massacre of Ipob in his ministry?

Why must continue to make Igbo a laughing stock? The yorubas must be laughing at you right now. I really do hope you are not Igbo.

Campaign promises are useless. Look at the person's past record and see if he has been doing those things he is promising in his little way and then vote for him.

Even lie muhammad have told everyone that campaign promises are empty.

We are moving. The Laboratory revolving fund will go a long way in making life easier for patients who cannot afford the cost of cetain high complexity laboratory investigations.

Some laboratory investigations cost as much as N40,000 up to N120,000. The best laboratories in the world have gone molecular and molecular-based diagnostics can be really expensive. Sometimes Scientists are forced to send patient's samples abroad for certain tests because the machines and tools are not provided in our local laboratories.

The same manner johesu excos boasted to have spoken with about 5 chairmen of governing council and all five confirmed the fact that the minister has no right to summon them to Abuja for meeting to take decisive steps on the impasse.

Less than 24 hours after, all summoned board chairmen were in Abuja with Adewole.

You see, johesu in one of their communique has sanctioned propaganda as a tool allowed in furtherance of their agenda during this strike. Ironically, the propaganda tool is used more on her members to give them false hope of victory.
For donkey years NMA have been using propaganda to deceive Nigerians and fooling them that other professionals are not important. JOHESU remains steadfast, they are close to their goals that's why NMA is jittery and releasing memos every minute.

Lemme give you an update...

We were in court to challenge the motion filed by faceless NMA-sponsored NGO 'kingdom int'l' whatever...

The Court Ruling was:

1. Court takes over the negotiations btwn
JOHESU & Govt in its Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Centre.

2. JOHESU & Govt side are to nominate their representatives in the ADR process within 24 hrs.

3. The agreement reached at the ADR Centre will be registered in the Court as judgment binding on both parties.

4. JOHESU is urged (not ordered) to initiate the process of allowing normalcy to return to hospitals within 3 days.

Appeal from us: JOHESU is still consulting to take a decision which will be communicated to members accordingly. All social media & newspaper propaganda must be ignored until you hear from your representatives.

Thanks.

DR. G. C. Okara (FMLSCN)

In a related development your 'minister of malaria dokitas' is in trouble...

Breaking: The minister of health has been summoned by the president over his letter sacking all the federal health workers he did not employ without the consent of the head of service. The head of service has petitioned the presidency on the infringement of his right of office by the health minister. His fraudulent case that was pending before he was made the health minister has been revisited. We are at the verge of victory. grin

Its quite unfortunate to see some disheartening comments here. We should all unite together and strive for a better health care system. Our health care system is totally poor starting from workers remunerations to facilities. Workers salary across all sectors is too low, Let everybody come out together and unite with one voice. Negative comments won’t help anybody, the increase in JOHESU salary won’t affect that of the Doctors. Moreover, JOHESU never asked for the same salary as that of the doctors, why so much hate within us. We Health care workers are to show love and care to our clients and patients, yet we have so much hate within us. You will be amazed to the see the strong team spirit within health workers outside of the country.
When you write like this, they'll think you are weak, beggarly and dependent on them for means of livelihood.

Our predecessors have learnt that the healthcare system is a jungle and every gains they've made so far including the independent establishment of all health professions by their enabling acts was not acquired by begging malaria specialists.

Nothing excites me more than seeing a group of overglorified charlatans in white coats desperately screaming , threatening, crying, lamenting for JOHESU to resume work and releasing memos and counter-memos while 'very busy attending to patients in the working hospitals' which are actually empty. grin

Funny. grin

End the rancour in the health sector. Motivate JOHESU professionals by encouraging them to grow like their counterparts in advanced climes, then equip the public health sector adequately like a 7-star hotel.

Nigerians will have no reason to waste their hard earned money in private hospitals which are just 'extortion centres' run by greedy lots.

Nigerians deserve 7-star public hospitals run by neutral health administrators who will encourage all health professionals to grow for the benefit of the patients. They deserve it just like Yusuf Buhari.

Statement on Vanguard "Breaking News: JOHESU calls off strike''

A JOHESU Executive said: This info is wrong, the strike has not been called off yet.

We just left the court and we agreed that we would only call off the strike if the NIC is successful in its mediation as a neutral body BTW US and the FG.

If successful in 24 hrs we would immediately call off the strike.
But the strike is still on

The NIC also ruled in JOHESU's favor against the NGO "Kingdom Hearts'' that they have no Legal standing to demand for our return to work

What I see is two elephant fighting while the grass suffers for it. It is a government and government killing Nigeria thing.

Fejiro Oliver Wrote

JOHESU: Nigerians message to you

I broke the news of your impending sack to you last week, which was confirmed yesterday by the circular from the Ministry of Health.

Today, you are faced between immediate comfort and lasting liberation from the shackles of professional colonialism. Today, you are faced between living without salaries as a result of the sack or to go back to work and be paid the peanuts you currently earn.

Today, Nigerians have sent me as a mouthpiece to deliver this message to you.

To JOHESU leaders, know this today, that the prison was made for three kind of people - real criminals, prisoners of conscience and political prisoners. You belong to the second and third categories. The prison doors will be thrown wild open for daring to disobey the government, but do not fret. They will send the SSS after you and throw you inside the underground cells, all in a bid to weaken you, but again, do not fret or be intimidated by the instruments of the state.

Know this today, that it's same you who will treat the security officials that will be sent to arrest you, when they are sick. Mark their faces very well when they come. Take note of their names and if possible their lineage. When they or any of their family is sick and needs your healing hands after this whole saga, remind them of how they joined the government to nail you for fighting for your rights.

Do NOT ever fall for the Senate President meeting and call off the strike. Nigeria never keeps to promises. If you call off the strike today out of fear or due to the carrot plea of Bukola Saraki, know that you will never rise again and no one will take you serious when you call out strike actions again.

Never in the face of threat yield to the oppressors. Your demands are 100% just, fair and right. You cannot be a Nurse and earn a paltry sum of N150,000 while the physicians earns over N313,000 as a new corner, same money that will take the nurse nine years to earn when same Medical Doctor is already earning over half a million.

Do not be moved by the fears of tomorrow for no one can replace you. The battle is not about you but saving the entire medical profession, in line with international best practices and the unborn generations. Save the future children from having to go through this road again by ignoring the government and staying in your homes, do your private practice, come up with ideas and if possible, migrate out of this country to foreign lands, where relativity in salaries is determined by your level of specialty and expertise, not by the donkey years in school.

You have everything right to disobey the government of the day. They have disobeyed the court again and again, so it's not new to us. Let them employ the hands and we all watch who will give the new employees licences to practice when the ones they parade expires. You have shown courage in the face of injustice for years and if this is the breaking point, so be it.

Sew your prison uniforms and write your names on gold. Nigerians will daily pay you visit in prison to show solidarity. We are with you all the way. Even if the admin staff among you want to resume, let them resume, but the clinicians and professionals among you should ignore this government, while telling your children, wards and relatives on the need to get their PVC to vote out this cluelessness.

If the Pathologists claim to own the laboratory, the doors have been left open for them since, let them do the work. If the pharmacologist and radiologists claims to own the pharmacy and radiography departments, the keys are there for them to work. Oh, if the physicians claim to own the patients, the Nurses are no more there, so let them take over the jobs and demand for extra pay if they want. The field has been left open, let those who claim to own the appellation 'Dr' and master of all medical knowledge do the jobs of others.

JOHESU must not bow now. You have come too far to go back to Egypt. If your FULL promotional arrears is not paid, consultancy status granted, headship of hospitals and Ministry of Health given to all, retirement age adjusted, adjustment in CONHESS (very important) and equipping of the hospitals done, do not back down on this strike. Nigerians will be fine. We will patronise private hospitals. We will come on our own to the labs for test and scan. We will go to the pharmacy to get our drugs. We will be fine, but liberate yourselves first, just like Christ said "Physician, cure thy self".

Be steadfast and resolute. Freedom has never been gotten on a platter of gold.

Let every member get this message from Nigerians.

Happy Democracy Day

Signed: Fejiro Oliver
