I paid 396k for her cs operation, and no where my name or surname appeared on the receipt that was given to me, it's her name and her father's name that was on it. This is because after marriage she has not changed her surname to my name, this hurt me a lot because her elder sister that is just a baby mama to her boyfriend has already changed her Facebook sur name to her boyfriend surname. Whereas my wife is still answering her father's name, I have told myself that if she can't think and do this willingly, I will never and ever confront her concerning this.

I have been allowing her to do whatever she want but this, she has over stepped her boundaries, seems I have been too easy on her.

This act is bad and should not be encouraged. Imagine how the psyche of a girl from poor socioeconomic background would be feeling in this contest if not showered enough by her family? Why is winning a contest based on this senselessness?

Why not organize a more competitive event like an aptitude test or Quantitative reasoning assessment tests for them ? Making these young upcoming girl feels that weaponization via money is the ultimate road to stardom? Do adults fully understand the implications of this act?

A friend told me that a gurl they have done things together suddenly having feelings for his younger brother just by seeing his pics that he shared on WhatsApp.
She started by asking if the younger brother is actually the elder brother. When that was soughted out she then remarked by stating that he is handsome more than twice and then moved on to ask if he is married. This is a girl that has never complimented this guy in any way.

This is really disturbing me right now,I just wedded about 2 months ago
My mother in-law first visit was 2 weeks ago, I purposely left the house before she came because I was not really bucks up
Suddenly she came this morning around 7:30 am without a pre notice. She didn’t tell my wife nor call any of us to let us know she’s coming.

She stays about 35 mins drive to my house,my parents stays about 5mins drive to my house and they can not try such and perhaps. They are too busy for all that nonsense

I’m in my room right now alone here on Nairaland seeking for advice on what to do before I do wrong. I am planning to tell my wife when her mother is gone and warm her never to let such happen again.
