Bkayyy: Who needs Ijaw? see this one oh. Check through my posts. Like I said before, I am just a voice for now and my opinion doesn't overule that of the majority yet. So if the people of Ijaw and Igbo agree to form a country Which I highly doubt, all I can do is to queue in if they reject my own opinion. I believe in the choice of the majority Why is it hard for you to understand that we have made our choice already? We made this choice more than 70 years ago. We don't wish to be part of Biafra or any Igbo state. Whether Ojukwu, Uwazurike, Kanu or anyone else propagates the message it doesn't change our response. We are NOT interested! PERIOD......... |

Bkayyy: This shows how naive you are. Only a referendum can settle this madness. Me for example, I don't support any union with any other ethnicity including some so called Igbos like Ekpeye, Ogba, Ikwerre and all of them in Delta state especially IKA and I am vocal about it offline and a lot of people share the same sentiments down here. This is how a referendum works, if the percentage of people that oppose the new country from ijaw as a recognised independent group gets as high as 31 percent ( it doesn't necessarily need to surpass the opposite), Ijaw and all her land will be excluded from the new nation. As simple as that. You claim you don't want "Igbos" in Delta or Rivers state to be part of Biafra yet want Ijaw people! How does that make sense? If Ijaw people will have a referendum it would be on if we will remain in Nigeria or have an Ijaw country! We've rejected what IPOB has to offer 70 years ago and our opinion has not changed, neither would would it change. |
Politics › Re: What Will I Tell My Children That I Supported Ijaw To Get 25% Derivation-Adefuye by PHijo(m): 6:22pm On Dec 25, 2020 |
Bkayyy: That is why he is calling for referendum to know if people support him or not.
By the way as for attacking my ancestors, don't forget who we are in a hurry. Time may have passed but we are still the same I would like to know who they were! Educated Igbo people ask for an end to marginalisation in Nigeria or a dissolution of the fraudulent union called Nigeria. They don't go around looking for colonies! How is IPOB different from Miyetti Allah when both groups are only interested in stealing other people's lands? Ijaw people have told you [Igbo] no in the 50s, told you no in the 60s, yet in the late 60s Ojukwu tried force Biafra on the Ijaw till they were forced to participate in the war on the Nigerian side. Please remind me the history I forgot. Have you seen a Frenchman calling for referendum in England? What IPOB is doing is outright madness! |

Bkayyy: on which capacity do you make those declaration and who elected you or did you get it by conquest? By the capacity your forbearers NEVER had and their descendants will NEVER have! Miyetti Allah already gave you quit notice in Enugu and Ebonyi. When Igbo people conduct referendum on behalf miyetti Allah and publicly measure the land and hand it over to representatives of the Fulani then you can come back and ask your useless questions. By the way, who elected Nnamdi Kanu in Igboland? Not to talk of Ijawland! |

Politics › Re: What Will I Tell My Children That I Supported Ijaw To Get 25% Derivation-Adefuye by PHijo(m): 4:29pm On Dec 25, 2020 |
Bkayyy: more reasons why the referendum will be conducted in two phases. The first is to ascertain how many people support the masquerades spewing trash online While the second will be for the obvious. As long as the referendum or whatever you guys call it is restricted to Igboland we are fine with that. |
Politics › Re: What Will I Tell My Children That I Supported Ijaw To Get 25% Derivation-Adefuye by PHijo(m): 3:59pm On Dec 25, 2020 |
Bkayyy: of course. If we see Igbo people singing their praise and claiming he represents them. So to avoid confusion,we put it to referendum test to check whether those that sing their praise are the majority. If they are the majority, then we have two options. Either to let them be and become opposing minority or risk fighting them head on and be anhilated. Any other question? That is up to Igbo people! They should never dream of bringing their stupid IPOB referendum to Ijawland. Ijaw people are not, and will never be an extension of Igboland. The Igbo is distant from us just as the Fulani is distant from the Igbo. Just as the Igbo wouldn't expect Fulani to conduct referendum in Igboland the Ijaw wouldn't expect the same from the Igbo. |

Bkayyy: The process is simple. if you think MNK does not speak for your people then conduct a referendum and be shocked. that day might even be the day you'll be burnt alive. majority carries the vote Would you call for a referendum to determine if miyetti Allah represents Igbo people? |

Dedetwo: The bolded showed again you are one of the expendables from Rivers State. OML 11, is the largest crude oil communities in Rivers State and some part of Abia State. OML 11 comprised Ogoni, Ikwerre land, Opu Obu (Opobo), Nkoro, Andoni, Obigbo and Owaza. Owaza is the largest crude oil producing community in OML 11 is seated in Abia State. The Chairperson of council of traditional rulers among the oil producing communities in OML 11 is from Etitioha Owaza, Abia State. Ijo has little or no Onshore crude oil field. The so-called Oloibiri has been capped and returned to the forest. Owaza oil fields started in 1958 two years after Oloibiri yet going stronger. Anybody who spewed the bolded crap in the above post has no seat in this discussion. Most of the Ogoni wells in OML 11 have run dry. Recently, Rivers State govt. has acquired the Ogoni oil fields in OML 11. I hope you know Ijaw people from Rivers state are here too! People like me, you mentioned several Ijaw communities on this list here. Ogoniland has not been producing oil for over 20 years. There is a lot of onshore and shallow water production in Ijawland. Only from deep offshore Ijawland contributes up to 800,000 barrels per day. Onshore and shallow offshore would be in the range of 400 to 600,000. |

If they ain't comfortable with it, they know what to do to make Nigeria submit to them.
BTW hope you read the news on fp few weeks ago when chief of staff went to visit southern governors, hope you knew they celebrated birthday for him?
An average Yoruba doesn't believe in one Nigeria tho. Just know that all regions are only looking for their own interests. Thank you for your honesty, I wished politicians like Jonathan didn't try to correct the anomaly. If he had maintained the status quo we won't be having this discussion today. From Buhari we can see how a president who represents the interest of only his region helps Nigeria as a country. |

Biafra = Igbos = Ipobs = Kanu.
therefore, kanu is a spokesperson for Igbos.
except if Indigenous people has another meaning
The two can play the game The senator specifically mentioned Ijaw and not Igbo. So wonder why you smuggled Nnamdi Kanu's name into this discussion. |

Sammy07: He's actually saying rubbish and nonsense. Any rat can say rubbish.
Can Nnamdi kanu or Wike or amaechi speak for South south people at large? Definitely NO.
How you also agrees with him also baffles me. Why do you think Yorubas cannot do without Ijaws oil? Because it seems you agree with him. Even tho he is saying rubbish. Nnamdi Kanu cannot speak for us because he is not even from that region. Wike and Amaechi suppose to speak for the region because that is why they hold public office. This man represented Yoruba people at the national conference. He has also been a senator before, this is what a leader in your place said. It is irrelevant if you support his views or not, Yorubas have chosen him on several occasions to represent them at the national stage. When the Yoruba elites loot oil money it is still the Yoruba masses celebrate them with talking drums. When your governors went to court in a bid to prevent the Niger Delta from getting a better deal none of you protested but the same Yoruba masses were there to protest that their leaders did not get 'juicy appointments' . |

SlayerForever: Why is his name sounding somehow: Ikenwoli. Anyways the next king should come from Ijaw. Itsekhiri can't have it all the time. Ijaw should strongly consider pushing for the stool. As Ijaw people we don't need their stool. The argument has always been on the title Awolowo gave the Itsekiri monarchy. It is not supposed to be Olu of Warri, it is supposed to be Olu of Itsekiri. They old title should be restored. Ironically Warri is even coined out of an Ijaw word, Wari. Which means house or home. Nonetheless I think as neighbours the Urhobo, Ijaw and Itsekiri should do all in their power to promote peace, cooperation and avoid violence against themselves. |
