On social media especially Instagram, when a celebrity displays affluence and luxury, you see people saying “God when?”. Average life is now seen as mediocrity. You must be rich enough to travel to Dubai from time to time, have expensive cars and mansions etc Money, Money, Money!!!! And the economic situation in Nigeria is not helping matters. People want to be rich because of the power and freedom it will bring.

I'm not being selective. Believe what you believe and leave every other nigga to what he believes. The Bible is wide and people do interpret it differently. Since I discovered the truth,nobody in this Christianity can tell me shit. God is not an author of confusion .. Old or new Testament God's word doesn't support poverty. Thank you. This is what prosperity gospel has done to Christians. If it is by chanting Bible verses, every Christian in Nigeria would be rich.

Sincerely I do appreciate all the comments coming in. This is not to argue whatsoever. But the truth is, who is righteous if that is the exact criteria for God to help a man? Who is righteous. Again, if righteousness is the criteria, does it now mean that God has never prospered anybody because even scripture says non is righteous and that our righteousness is as a filter rag before God. So how do you then claim God blesses only when one is righteous, yet we have billionaires and millionaires littered all over when God said there is non righteous?

Honestly, I need indept and detail interpretations because truly I want to see to the end of my situation. But of course I will know the truth and the truth will make me free.

Even unrighteous people prosper. Even the atheist is God’s child. Matt 5:45 He makes his sun rise on the evil and the good and sends rain on the just and the unjust.

Please I need answers to my inner most question about God. My question is; does God really get involved in blessing people or He God has finished His assignment and the rest left to man to handle?

This question has been coming hard on me because of all I have been going through financially. I have believed this God that sometimes people think am mad. I have been doing my business to the best I can, I have been praying so hard, I have been attending church services and giving my offerings yet I go through a lot like a prodigal son. I am seriously in pain, my heart aches and bleeds at the same time and am losing my mind.

My heart is really aching to be honest with you all and I must say am considering other options of how to get rich because it seems God doesnt answer the prayer for breakthrough. Honestly, I have a thousand reason to believe God doesn't help any man get rich.

Please I need candid advice at this moment only from more matured Christians in the house. Please don't bash me because it is not a funny situation with me at the moment as I have been in need of money to do things and yet non is coming forth.

Hmmm! That you are a child of God does not mean you won’t go through trying times. Also, the prosperity doctrine being peddled by preachers today makes it seem as if you are a Christian and you are not prospering financially then maybe you do not have faith or you are not praying/fasting/tithing enough.

Sometimes in terms of finance/business, it is best to rely on your own power. What do I mean? Think of it this way. If you became aware today that there was no God, no being in control of your life, what would you do? You would probably sit down and analyze why things are not going well. Do you need to switch businesses or get another job, or do more networking.

I am a Christian but still struggle with my faith. If I don’t pray today or miss some days of prayer and something bad happens i start wondering if it is because of the missed prayer. When things are not going well, i start wondering what sort of prayer/fasting favored people are doing that i am not doing. Perhaps I am not decreeing and declaring enough? Or is the doubt in my heart visible for God to see and so chooses not to bless me? So many thoughts always running through my head.

And then i see atheists/sinners who are prospering and I just find myself wondering.

I hate the doubt in my spirit but can’t seem to get rid of it.

In Nigeria, you can identify a mad man from his clothes or lack of it. In US, so many unstable people looking normal. Someone will just from nowhere punch someone on the face. A cursory look through their site alone shows that they aren't crunching the data that shows any credibility. They came across as boastful and naive. Any company that is worth its salt would not be boasting of eradicating poverty in Africa, East Europe, south America single handedly by lending to the poor as its mission statement. That's enough bullshit for me to run with my money. Even Lapo and Accion with multiple decades of experience would not even talk about eradicating poverty in Mushin Local government let alone Africa.

Also website looks alot shoddy. They were full of boasting. They are in 350 markets across Africa. Listed Lagos, Ibadan , Jumped to Benin Republic a country before jumping back to Akure or something. Yeah the CEO doesn't verify such info but such are basic things any company worth its salt won't be committing errors at. Lastly, most people that carry religion on their forehead most times are just masking it to move forward in life especially when it comes to money. My sister, spend the time you are wasting on midnight prayers praying for "worldly things" to improve yourself - improve your health, mind and wealth. Learn new skills, get new certificates or degrees, exercise your body. In 5 years you will be much better than where you are today.

If people had all they desired, i doubt they will engage in midnight prayer. Anyone engaging in midnight prayer is definitely looking for something and most times it is progress, success, promotion, anointing of ease and then health issues or problems of life. But money is usually the common denominator.

Some people will never be poor again in their life. In fact up to the 20th generation, they will never be poor.
