I don't know how that Hitv receiver works and if it is programmed to accept diseqc switches. If it is, here is the general procedure for setting up diseqc switches. Go to where you choose your satellites, choose your satellite, then go to Diseqc 1.0 (if there is that option in your receiver). Choose number of port from 1 to 4 (any) on the option and save. Imagine that you have chosen port number 2, then connect your cable from chosen satellite to port number 2 on the diseqc switch. You repeat the procedure for the other satellite and make sure to give it its own number from the remaining ports. Hope this helps.

Currently I have found only Afnex on Atlantic Bird 3 and Botswana TV on Intelsat 7/10 having English commentary of AFCON.

What I got is that in the previous version 122p there was a bug in the way the subtitles were displaying in the Arabic language. Somehow they were stacking up in the middle of the screen. So among other things this version is trying to rectifying that bug.

McAfee software bug could turn customers' PCs into spam servers

(Reuters) - Anti-virus software maker McAfee warned that a flaw in one of its products could make customers' PCs vulnerable to attacks in which hackers used their computers to distribute spam.

The company, which is a unit of chipmaker Intel Corp, disclosed the flaw in a message to customers on its website Wednesday.

McAfee spokesman Ian Bain said t least one customer had fallen victim to such an attack, which leveraged a flaw in a service offering known as McAfee SaaS for Total Protection.

I will try to assist you and I hope Gurus in the house will help me.
1. For w3a I don't know if it is possible in your area to get it (I hear you are using mesh) since Freshp said its 'impossible' to get it using mesh. Would someone please tell us otherwise?
2. For w4/7 (Dstv) - What is your signal strength? If the Multichoice tps are lower RDV and co wont come.
3. Tweaking Lnb - Gurus will most of the times say "tweak your lnb to 4 oclock as you stand in front (or back) of your dish." What they mean is that you should look at your dish and imagine it to be a clock with hour hands. In your head put the hour numbers from 1 to 12 on the dish as they appear on a clock. So if they say 'tweak it to 3 oclock' just put the LNB knob where you feel three oclock on your imaginary clock would be. Don't forget to check if they say 'in front' or 'standing at the back of the dish'
I hope someone will come in with how you can use Lyngsat or Flysat. If you go back to earlier posts there are very good explanations that would surely assist you in what you want to do. Feel free to ask for assistance or clarification where you are lost.

Pidzo what movie channels are you able to capture and on which satellites?iam in zambia and trust that what ever you get i might as well capture most likely.

I usually watch Filmax on Paksat 1R, World Movie on Thaicom 5, MGM on W2A, among other channels that show movies once or twice a day. Surely you can capture all these sats.

If you have managed to track Sirius 4 then it's easy. W3a is just a few inches above Sirius 4. Check lyngsat for frequencies and use the one for RTS1 for tracking.

Can any body tell me which code opens up 'options' tab in srt4329? I have tried 8281 and 6969 to no avail. I need to set the rs232 properties plus editing keys function.

For you to access 8281 you need to load Module_002p in your receiver. Make sure it is compatible with your receiver though.

The page www.crosat.us is now back. Looks like they have moved it to another site and this time you need to register to access the files. Using it's original address you are then redirected to www.digital-target.org and everything is the same except for some few changes like page theme (colour) etc.

If you are unfortunate enough to be using any of Symantec products like Norton Antivirus, Norton Internet Security etc you need to think twice. Their network has been hacked and the source code for their products stolen. The hackers seem eager to attack users of this product after they go through the weaknesses of Norton. Arabsat covers Africa
Arabsat’s latest satellite, Arabsat 5C, launched in September 2011, is now covering Africa with a portfolio of Middle East channels assembled by GlobeCast.

GlobeCast’s channels, organised via the Arab States Broadcasting Union, takes the channels which are collected at the Jordan Media City in Amman, and uplinked directly to 5C.
