MBC on W3A has its signal strength reduced tremendously. If you were getting it easily then this time you need to do alot of tweaking to get it. So play around with your dish and lnb, you will get it as it is still there.

I have very little knowledge about satelite equipments and signal beams what is recievable in Ethiopia. Can any one giude me where to get any Ethiopian information sharing concerning about satelite. For me all my eqiupments are china made and not good but still can receive more than 15 satelite.  What I would like to ask the Admin is can you start for us a new Thread about what is recievable in  Ethiopia and knowledge sharing about satelite equipments all about Satelite  strength?.

For signal beams covering your area you can check Lyngsat or Flysat or check with members of the forum from East Africa region who will surely be of great assistance. Good day bro.

I am skeptical when it comes to new satellite launches bringing 'good news' to us FTA lovers. Look at the hype brought by the dormant New Dawn satellite. Same can be said about AB7. Nothing to smile about for the majority who were dreaming of easy hunting.

Try downloading the new version for srt4669XII at the link I posted and load it in your receiver. It's indicated that it's for Dstv support.

I also saw this IRDETO Complete Pay Tv System Conditional Access on a Panasat DSTV receiver last week for the first time. I am also confused and need clarification and enlightment from fellow members. It doesn't have a card slot and it's indeed closed in all sides.
