obainojazz:Yes o, bro. My Lord and personal Saviour . Just kidding, don't take the signature too seriously. But yeah, kid's my favorite player. I love him to bits. He wasn't even a Bayern player when I started following him. Seeing him now, how far he has come, it makes me happy. |
FastShipping:Is this some kinda joke? While Kane is definitely in the form of his life, he's got nothing on Lewy. How does being the younger player equate to being better. More skillful? Both are not the most skillful of players to begin with but trust me, I've seen some incredible tekkers from Lewy. One of his goals against PSV last season comes to mind. Lewy is very much involved in his team's build-up play, to be fair you can also say the same for Kane. I've seen Kane struggle against teams who set up really tight at the back with little spaces in between. Lewy on the other hand will always find a way to breach such defenses. Just ask Juventus and Atletico. Strong in the air, can hold up play, good with both feet. Lewandowski ticks all the boxes of a great striker. He has done it against the biggest teams in the world on the biggest stages. Who could ever forget that incredible 4-goal haul against Real Madrid? Just tell me another player who has scored 4 goals against a Jose Mourinho-coached team. Not even Messi or Ronaldo. Or that crazy 5-goals in 9 minutes barrage against Wolfsburg that spawned a host of world record titles. Harry Kane should just stick to his 'local' exploits. Lewy no be im mate. |
airmark:This team looks very ready to defend the title. The depth of the team is scary, even though there are not too many options in the striking department. But who cares, Klose was the only out-and-out striker at the last WC but they still got by. If the core of the team stays fit and are in top form by June next year, there might just be no stopping them. |
Record breakers everywhere. Kimmich wasn't the only one busy re-writing the history books tonight. . Robert lewandowski is now Poland's record highest goalscorer after banging in a hattrick against Armenia. 50 goals for Top Bob. He's also now the player with the most goals in this WC qualifying campaign, with 15 goals, I think. Too lazy to do a Google search. Is there any doubt as to who the best striker on the planet is? |
It's all over in Belfast. Germany through to Russia 2018. And yes, a round of applause for the man of the moment, Joshua Walter Kimmich. A goal, an assist and breaking a 44-year old record all in one night. Could have added a clean sheet to it but the other guys just messed things up. I suppose drink to this new achievement sha but no P. |
Goooaaallll!!!! Yeesss!!!! JK with the third goal! Tonight is his night. Now just 3 minutes more. . |
Watching the N. Ireland-Germany game. Die Mannschaft 2 goals up at HT. Heading to Russia as it stands but we all knew that anyway. The Bayern boys representing as usual. Rudy finally scored one of those long-range stunners he's been trying all season long. Josh with a simple assist for that one. Unlucky not to have another to his name, Wagner hitting the post after another delightful cross. Muller with the assist for the second goal. Boateng and Hummels haven't had much to do. Should be an easy ride for them. |
Ehen! Today is the day. Joshua Kimmich is set to break Franz Beckenbauer's long-standing record of the most number of completed consecutive competitive matches for Germany. OK, lemme break it down for those who didn't quite get that. Most consecutive 90 mins starting with the debut. Both are currently tied on 21. Coincidentally, Kimmich's run started back in June 2016, against the same opposition he will be facing tonight. . Northern Ireland. Not only has he effectively replaced Lahm at club and country level, he is now toppling Der Kaiser. All at 22. Future Bayern and Germany captain. I'm staking my life savings on it. You should too. |
Yaay! Don Juup is back. We should be grateful he's agreed to clean up our mess. . yet again. A safe pair of hands to help steady the ship. He's been out of the business for a while but I'm confident he will do a great job. Much hasn't changed at the club since he left so he should settle quickly. |
This @UltraAutistic dude on Twitter reminds me of bykebyke. They are both crazy and petty as fucck. I'm actually starting to think they are one and the same person. |
It's been a trying couple of weeks for the club. Let's see, Neuer got injured, out for 4 months. Throwing away a 2-goal lead against Wolfsburg. Losing 3-nil to PSG. Ancelotti getting sacked. Jan-Christian Dreseen shooting off his fingers in a freak hunting accident. Throwing away a 2-goal lead again. . vs Hertha. Ribery hurting his knee, out for 3 months. . Need I go on? Errm. . that's about it. Now it's easy to get bogged down by all these negative happenings. Trust me, I barely get through the day without worrying about the current state of the club. But we are FC Bayern. Die Roten. Rekordmeister. We won't be down for long. We will come back stronger. Mia San Mia, people! |
PietroRico:It's the War of the German CBs. It's almost like one side is waiting for the other to make one little mistake and then bam! I'm neutral though. But I were to choose a side, I'm so definitely not picking BoaTHONG. |
FT: 2-2 . |
Pataki:My brother, I don tire. Still hoping we can snatch a win though. |
Pataki, I dey see your work o. Una well done! |
Calm down, Josh. Calm down. . |
Ribery don carry am. Coman on. The tides have turned. Hertha on top now. Chai! |
2-2. Throwing away a two-goal lead in less than 10 mins. Something is definitely wrong with this team. It runs deeper than Ancelotti. |
Halftime in Berlin. Was a bit surprised to see Martinez playing DM. Looks like we are back to the 4231 of old. The Sagnol effect clearly on show . The boys are a bit still hungover from the Ancelotti regime though. Expecting a better performance in the second half. |
These Pep fanboys should take their discourse else where abeg. I don't know what Pep's got to do with what's on ground. The man has been gone for almost 2 years now. We've moved on, i suggest you all do. |
I woke up with a terrible hangover feeling this morning. The type I usually have the morning after we get knocked out at the semifinal stage. All my mouth just dey taste like say I take chloroquine and 'agbo' together. I guess that's the real taste of defeat . Ancelotti, my God go judge you o! |
It's 12:O7 and I still can't forget how Mbappe took Alaba to the cleaners for that 3rd goal. Mehn, dude been wishing he had stayed injured. |
Eruditor:You are definitely trolling me. It's OK. |
Eruditor:I'm sorry but why do I sense sarcasm in this post? |
Oghos1:I wouldn't say so. He's going through a difficult spell but he is still quality. He needs the backing and support of his manager, something Ancelotti doesn't offer. |
We didn't play too badly today, in my opinion but losing 3-nil is unacceptable. Carlo got everything wrong from his team selection to tactics. I'll be waiting for a reasonable explanation as to why Robben and Hummels didn't start this game. We had 4 days of rest so the rotation excuse isn't going to cut it. You are playing a PSG side with a killer front three and you decide to go without a natural defensive midfielder. Who does that? I love Muller but he had no business starting this match, not in this shape. Tonight was a real eye opener for Sule. I'm gonna stay off Ulreich tonight cos he wasn't at fault for any of the goals. Neuer would prolly have conceded the same. Honestly, I don't how we go on from here. Ancelotti is running out of grace and ideas it seems. The board will most likely let him stay for the rest of the season but he's definitely not going to be in charge next season. Well, I hope so sha. |
Pataki:Ha! You this man! Na your face be this? You choose the most fitting time to resurface. Ancelotti has ruined my club. Maybe it's all part of a grand plan to ensure we finish third and end up in the Europa league where we get to thrash you guys as always. It's been a while though. You good? |
aliondo:Yep, I agree. The bench doesn't look so great. Abrines is the only one I trust and that's not saying much. Patterson also won't be playing for a while. So we can only hope the quality of the Big 3 offset any depth issues. And as for D Wade, why not? He has managed to stay fit the last couple of seasons and is still one of the best shooting guards in the league. He would be the icing on the cake. |
Melo in! Russ, PG and Melo in one lineup. Mehn, I can't wait. Presti finally got his azz to work. We now have the Big 3 we missed out on with Russ, KD and Harden. All 3 are yet to win a ring but could this be it? Aliondo, can we dare to dream? But those Warriors sha. |
Tom Starke has been added to the CL squad list, as replacement for Neuer. Set to be the third-choice Gk but I still prefer him to Ulreich. Thiago resumed training today after a minor injury. Should be ready in time for PSG. |
airmark:BoaTHONG lost Didavi for that second goal. I don't know why anyone would say otherwise. The guy matter just tire me. |
Now where I do start from?! Oh, yes. Sven Ulreich. Spent most of his Bayern career lounging on the bench earning free money. But when it's time to earn those wages for real, the man puts up unconvincing displays and makes dubious decisions. The defenders are not helping matters sef. PSG will be licking their lips at this one. Like Coman. Like Ribery. I still don't know how he missed that. Later the geezer go dey vex say dem comot am. Robben was very wasteful today and Lewy seems to be content with scoring penalties these days. He no longer looks hungry. Those free kicks sef, he doesn't get them on target. Maybe there were a fluke to begin with. The team is moving the ball too slowly and we are struggling to create chances. No fluidity and the movement is too predictable. Sometimes I just want to switch off the tv. And the blame lies at the doorstep of Ancelotti. Maybe he is getting too old for the job. Maybe he has lost it like Wenger. After the calm of the previous 3 games, the heat is back on him. A negative result against PSG might just be the beginning of the end for him. |
