Had a Mats Hummels moment earlier this week when i accidentally spilled a hot cup of tea on my leg. Luckily there was no Muller to rub it in. Speaking of Muller, he finally broke his scoring duck this year. Let;s just hope this is not a false dawn like last time out.

Madrid in the UCL, just as i wanted. Time to unleash La Bestia Negra. It has been tamed for too long. We are just approaching peak form and i'm fairly confident the boys will get the job done.

As for Costa's untimely injury, all i can say is shyte! Somewhere in my mind, i knew this injury-free stuff wasn't going to last. I was hoping we would have our full ammo against Real. I just don't trust Ribery in those big games. He's going to have to prove me wrong.

Bundesliga in the bag already, 13 points clear. Liepzig now have reality staring them in the face. I just hope they keep it together and make CL next season. Dortmund in the cup also, it's going to be a very busy April!

Hmmmmmhuh

Giroud against Bayernhuh

If na me talk am na, una for put me for furnace.

So you agree now that he has the best goal/match ratio abi?

I prefer Sanchez as 9 abeg. But he must play with others. He must trust other players.
Giroud actually has a decent goalscoring record against Bayern and Neuer in particular. 3 in his last 5, I think.

BTW, has anyone seen Pataki?

My patience is running thin with Ancelotti. We are into the second half of the season and there are still no signs of improvement. 7 points clear at the top of the table, yes but I'm still not happy. These days I just dey get headache watching us play. When did Bayern become this boring and predictable?
I remember the manager saying he would rather be judged by the performance of the team than results. Well he is failing on that front.

Arsenal come to town in a few days and I must confess I'm not entirely confident. The boys need to bring their A-game come Wednesday. If we get knocked out by Arsenal, which is highly unlikely but not impossible i will never forgive Ancelotti. *exhales furiously*
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by pkasso(m): 10:48pm On Jan 17, 2017
So we signed Rudy and Sule from Hoffenheim. The Sule deal was probably out of panic rather than necessity with Chelsea rumored to be interested. We don't need another backup CB. We could have as many as 6 CBs at the start of next season. Hummels, Boateng, Martinez, Sule with Benatia and Badstuber returning from their loans. Well as for Rudy, we fit manage am. Not like he is going to start sef.

Also letting Badstuber go out on loan was a big mistake. Now we have only 2 fit centerbacks. I'm not a fan of Kimmich and especially Alaba as CBs.

As expected, the Flying Dutchman stays with us for another one year. Delightful news. Clearly our best player when fit.

2016 is almost over. It has been a mixed year for me as a fan with the highs and lows. My happiest moment this year was the club clinching a record 4th straight title. That comeback win against Juve takes second. I could barely sleep after that match. So much tension and adrenaline, I pray I don't go through such again. My saddest has to be when Atletico knocked us out in the CL. It was very painful. Third time in three years we've been eliminated in front of our fans. The boys gave absolutely everything. The first half performance was the best under Pep. But football, as we know is a cruel game .

2017 beckons. Hope it brings loads of trophies and titles

The closest of pkasso allies are the rabid anti Bayern. We know what your intentions are here. Its to sabotage from within we can clearly see through you

I have had many disagreements with even A40 here ranging from our opinion on Pep, Gotze etc. But pkasso goes from Barca to Milan to Bayern

So tell us how many other clubs do you actively support

When rival fans always see an ally in a so called Bayern fan against his own club no one needs to tell us he is an enemy agent

Go back to supporting Barca, Milan or any other club that catches your fancy this week

If an anti Bayern poster his coming here, the first internal support they look for is pkasso and in most cases he agrees with them because their intentions are similar
They say people get wiser with age.Yours is purely the reverse. I don't need your consent or approval to be a Bayern fan. It's certainly not my fault that we all happen to agree on your blinding stupidity and Boateng's uselessness.

Bros, you dey mind Ramuzaki. The geezer went digging up an ancient post on a match thread I don't even remember posting on. Just because I was rooting for Milan against Inter does not make a Milan fan. Ever heard of bad belle? You are a Rossoneri yourself, have we ever crossed paths before? Tell the agbaya to drop any of my posts on the Milan thread. That was how he and his boy-boy claimed I used to be a Gunner.

The Barca bit is clear. I was once a Cule and I have never denied it. I stopped supporting Barca, the best team in the world for reasons best known to me. Bayern weren't even this dominant, at least in Europe when I became a fan. Show me another fan who would swap the best team in the world for a sleeping giant.

Dayo is a hypocrite. The same man said he used to support Ajax and Juventus in the 90's. Obviously, you outsiders don't know much about what goes on here. History plenty. Most people here don't know me and A40 used to be cool back in the day. Raumdeuter makes enemies with those who have opinions contrary to his. Toba is a classic example. They both were the only Bayern fans on the forum when I joined. The details are a bit fuzzy now but I think it was after that painful Cl final loss to Chelsea. They had different opinions. Things changed between them.Raumdeuter antagonized the guy right until he deactivated. Toba and I had arguments. Things got heated sometimes but we found a way to settle it. I've got some respect for DK but it's diminishing by the second. Merry Christmas, bro.

Micheal Owen needs to take a big break from anything football related. As a pundit and a legend of the game, I expect him to hold top notch footie views but sadly, the man keeps doing a big disservice to punditry by only predicting outcome of matches and alas, his predictions has a way of going wrong every given time.

Some footballers retire from the game and take to other endeavors. Owen should borrow a leaf and consider running a betting shop or something, cos it quits seems he is responding to a call.
On point. I thought I was the only one who felt that way. Alan Shearer is even worse. Graeme Souness, Jaime Redknapp, Carragher. These guys ehn. The only ones I can stand are the Neville brothers and one of them has had a failed coaching career. Henry dey try small small. For Naija here, Victor Ikpeba and im perpetual gbagauns fit make person off TV. Being an ex-footballer doesn't mean you will make a good football analyst. Those media houses really need to rethink their pundit choices.

The boys really put Liepzig in their place. First 30 minutes was the best I've seen this season. Special mention to Thiago. 6 consecutive wins. 4 straight clean sheets without Alago in the side. I don talk am. The defence is much better when BoaTHONG is missing.

It's been a mixed first half of the season. Now that the winter break is here, the boys get to recharge their batteries and come back stronger. I'm sure Muller will be working very hard to get to his best.

Over-reliance on stats na im dey worry una. Not everything that counts can be counted. The emphasis on quantitative data in sports punditry these days is just too much. Whatever happened to the old, intuitive observational scouting skills. It's the age of Opta, Squakwa and Whoscored. We all didn't need the number crunchers at Opta to tell us what a great footballer Zidane was. Numbers don't do justice to Iniesta's abilities as a footballer. He is in my opinion the third best player in the world after Messi and CR7. All this talk of Creativity and productivity by Ibime is just pure sophistry.
