Leyqute:Trust me, bro if Chelsea loses, i will definitely party on here. I don dey even compile my playlist sef. But i would like them to win. |
Never knew this thread could be this sane. See people having intelligent discussion. Ramuzaki na weyrey. Apari really turned this place upside down with his stupid logic and maradonic skills. That ban abi na sabbatical go reset im brain small. No mind-numbing Hazard bashing, no amala-stirring. Long may this last. I miss my nigga, airmark though. I know you are still active. Bayern thread just dull without you. Guys just dey discuss gun control. Stay safe, bro. Rooting for your guys against Barca. |
Errm. . . errm. Am i on the right thread? It was good to see Thiago back in action. How i have missed those moves. I'm in full support of Jupp's rotation policy. Keeping the boys fresh would do us a world of good come April and May. Even Lewy is getting used to sitting out games. The team hasn't been fantastic but not bad either. I guess the guys are just waiting to hit peak form when it matters the most. Ehen, Ribery must not get that extension o, dude has been shitty. Even Robben is starting to show signs of declining with those inconsistent performances. Good today, average tomorrow. But we still fit manage am for one more season. But Ribery must go sha. |
aliondo:My man! . Those Bini names fit make person bit im tongue.Missed last night's game but that Harris game-winning buzzer beater would have made it painful. Dre's injury is one big blow. He's our best defender and probably the most important player on the team, after Russ. Speaking of Russ, i heard he shoved a fan yesterday. The NBA is looking into the issue, hopefully it's nothing more than a fine. |
Roland17:Thanks very much, boss. I knew it! His story is a touching and inspiring one. He's never been to Nigeria before and he definitely feels Greek but you know Naija, we go wan claim am as 'one of us' . |
Roland17:Quick random question, bro. Any idea where Giannis' parents hail from in Naija? I've always thought the name 'Antetokoumpo' sounded un-Nigerian. But what if it's only a Greek variant of a Nigerian name. I'm thinking it's Adetokunbo, a Yoruba name. An-te-to-koun-mpo = A-de-to-kun-bo. Both are 5 syllables long. What do you think? |
pharod:Errm. .This picture is a bit outdated and could use some editing. Airmark, shey you fit help? Replace Roma with Bournemouth . |

Hanhan! Warris dis? Oh i forgot, David Luiz is to blame for all the 3 goals conceded. Airmark, accept my condolences. E go better. Now make i run go Utd thread. |
raumdeuter:Keep my name out of that fvcking shithole you call a mouth. You don't want me spanking that alopecia-ridden head of yours, do you, Ramuzaki? Airmark, I did not watch last night's match and I'm yet to see the highlights but if Luiz really effed up like everyone is saying then he deserves to be called out. I would be surprised if he's still at Chelsea next season due to reasons not completely related to football. He seems to have fallen out with Conte and the injury did not help matters. Christensen and A zpi are nailed-on starters and I don't think Luiz will be happy competing for a third spot with Cahill and Rudiger. But there's no denying the role he played in last season's title triumph. Making the team of the year was just the icing on the cake. All these, after all the doomsday predictions by His Royal Foolishness, Gongosu Ramuzaki of Ogbomosho. The summer will be interesting, make we wait and see. |
Anyone blaming CP3 for what happened clearly didn't see the game. First it was Griffin intentionally bumping into D'Antoni on the sideline. Then there was this play where he slammed the ball on Gordon's back despite already getting the foul call. That's dangerous play, a little higher up the neck and that could have hurt the man. There's only so much shyte you can take from someone. Blake Griffin is a cvnt and has always been. |
ipledge10:Aswear that shyte had me cracking up like crazy . CP3 sure hasn't forgotten the ins and outs of the Staples Center. What I would give to see Rivers get beat up though. |
airmark:LMAO!! Airmark, I swear to God you no go kill me. Dragging tinz . |
Nihilist:OK, i don hear. But you no see Bakayoko own. This life sha. Luiz is just coming back from a knee injury and hasn't played in over 2 months. He was match-rusty and didn't have a good game but not a bad one either. I'm going to leave it here. |
Nihilist:Una don start again, na wetin dey tire me be this. Just look at the poor pass from Caballero. But nothing surprises me again, it's David Luiz, the perfect scapegoat for everything that goes wrong at Chelsea. |
barackodam:I might have overreacted though, it's just an ad. Maybe it was for dramatic effect, you know. But that look on his face was funny though. Messi be like, see these people sha, if I start too talk my own ehn. . . |
So I just watched the Adidas 'Calling All Creators' ad for their 'Here to Create' campaign. It features an assemblage of superstar athletes and pop culture icons. From James Harden, Pharrell, Beckham to Pusha T, Aaron Rodgers and Pogba. Some of the biggest names in today's sporting world all seating at a long table with no one other than Messi at the head of the table, like a boss. Everyone is sharing their views on the theme of the project, and then Messi is just seen smiling all through. Like it's some kinda joke. I was expecting him to chip in a few words towards the end but man just kept on smiling. Now I know it's no big deal but I think his inability to speak fluent English might have been the cause. Not that it makes him any less intelligent or what but you would expect a brand as big as his to at least have something in English. That could be key to breaking more markets. But then he's Messi. His football does all the talking. |
Wondering what the future holds for Renato Sanches at Bayern. With Goretzka coming in over the summer and Vidal and Tolisso still on the books, there is not much space for another box-to-box midfielder . His loan spell at Swansea has been disastrous. I think the club made a mistake sending him to England. The kid was still having trouble settling into a new country, language and culture, and then you loan to him to another country to start the adaptation process all over again. A loan deal to one of the BuLi's mid table sides, preferably Hoffenheim would have been better. At least, an extra year in Germany would have afforded the boy the much needed stability. Clement has since been sacked and Carvahal, a Portuguese has been appointed, so maybe all hope is not lost. But seeing how Renato has been exposed to all those unfair criticism breaks my heart . Swansea are a shyte team but people expect him to perform magic. He has not been fantastic, but the team itself is a mess. I just hope there is a plan in place for the boy. A good player doesn't turn to a bad one overnight. |
Quick random question, any Imagine Dragons fans here? I've been listening to their latest project, the Evolve album and damn, those guys are just too good! |
Decale:No mind me jare . Na mistake. When you spend too much time reading articles on Listverse, everything na Top 10.But yeah, Melo is now up to 21 on the all-time highest scorers list. Just leapfrogged the legendary backboard shooter, Patrick Ewing. I still don't know how I had Melo in the Top 10. WTF!!! ![]() |
We own the Staples Center, man. Back to back wins in LA. Homecoming boy PG with the dagger. Our 3-point shooting looked good today. And what else, Russ dropped his customary triple-double and Melo is now in the top 10 for most points scored in NBA history. |
airmark:Ramota na fraud, walahi. My grandma would have converted at least one of those chances. 3 big chances! Yet some people will be insulting you for saying the truth. No worry, dem go soon see the light. Loool. You mean, there is someone who's blaming Hazard for what happened yesterday?!! Hatred, or should I say stupidity won't be the death of some people. |
aliondo:Happy New Year, bro. I no forget you o!! I've just been busy these days. A lot has happened since, the team went on a winning streak and we are learning to close games. The Big 3 have looked solid. Russ and PG are shooting better, Melo has sort of taken a backseat but has proven unselfish sacrificing his ego for the betterment of the team. Shout-out to Adams and Fly Dre too. The last few games haven't gone too well though. The loss to the Bucks was painful. I'm sick and tired of the level of officiating in the league this season. The refs then come up with stupid apologies when the deed is already done. Hoping for a good 2018. Obviously we've got to make the playoffs and then w'll see what happens. |
Nihilist:LMAO. I couldn't help but burst into laughter looking at your team. That team be looking like a hospital . Na the zeros dey scatter my belle pass. I don't know how you manage to get by, if na me I for don WC since. You are still holding down that top 10 spot, so good job. I no even understand my own case. E be like say person hex my team. MaziOmenuko, I dey suspect you. I've just been falling like a shooting star. From top 6 to barely hanging in the top 30. I can't even remember the last time I had a green arrow. Na Wildcard sure pass. |
sod09:Just saw this. You do well, Nihilist will be so pleased he will finally agree to that internship program. I'm still collecting my agent fees though. sod09:No be my fault. Na traffic catch me for road. Happy New Year to you. May your club reclaim its rightful 4th spot this year. Oya say Amin! |
Nihilist:LOL. Happy Birthday, bruv. Wishing you many more years, in good health and wealth. Just take it easy. You don dey old small small. Sod09, you no go come wish your 'mentor' happy B-Day. |
lordhugo:Yes o. We need differential captain options. Enough of the same every week. My team has been dropping down the standings these past few weeks due to poor captain choices and mostly bad luck. This Salah injury might just change things for me. You get mind captaining defenders and GKs. I just don't have the heart for it. One goal conceded and it goes pffft. Though it can be profitable at times with explosive defenders like Alonso, Azpilicueta. Best of luck. |
Am I the only one who's happy Salah is injured? He's been the default captain choice for most people and his consistent explosive returns has just taken the fun out of the game with everyone putting the armband on him. Now with him out, peeps would have to consider other less productive players. Bring on the captain fails! . PS: Harry Kane can also join him on the sidelines after this GW. |
airmark:Happy New Year, bro. Wishing you all the good things in 2018 and more. |
Chai. . I don miss rapture 5000. Remember me, o Lord! |
Well, City's winning streak wasn't going to last forever. On the plus side, I/We /Us/FC Bayern get to keep the record for the most consecutive league wins. So, yeah. .Who would have thought that that shambolic Palace defence from earlier this season would be the first to stop City from scoring in a league match this season. The way you guys dey celebrate City drawing this game na WA o. They are still 14 points clear of their nearest challengers, Chelsea who happen to face Arsenal next. |
