UncleSuru:Have you been celibate? If not you shouldn't be looking for a virgin. You'd be undeserving of one. |
udomonday:Grammar you mean. Anyway this is ₦800 for a dozen in my side of Lagos. |
It was a dream. I was flying to everywhere and anywhere I wanted to go but I found out I wasn't landing well, like when a gymnast at the Olympics missed her legs. Then I questioned this still in the dream, then I flew again and my landing was much better, though not as perfect as I would've wanted it |
Everything is totally me. I'm amused even about how I dodge people on the street just because I don't want to talk or they'd call out to me I'd pretend not to have heard them ![]() The only thing that's not true is some part of number 4, I'd cheated a couple of times. |
Awọn èèyàn òfò 😖 Like Manchester teacher, like Manchester United Osunmo Man U, O jinna si EPL Cup Predator Tiṣa. Rádaràda! |
Obakoolex:. Thank you for this comment. Some people take absolute delight in rubbishing people's efforts without being anywhere near useful themselves, Aaaarrrgh! |
Adewale1603:How many of his movies have you seen? It's not an exaggeration that Buọda Femi is a fine actor who knows his onions. There aren't many young actors within his frequency...maybe Ibrahim Chatta, Yomi Fash-lanso and probably Funsho Adeolu. He's a phenomenal artiste no doubt. His works can attest to that. I have seen several of his works and he still surprises each time. I would've referred you to go watch some but unfortunately, I don't keep the names. This win is a sweet win. One down, many more usurpers to go! |
I remember walking jẹjẹly on my own one day on the streets of Lagos. Actually I was going to the market to get foodstuff for the house. I was with Oga's ATM, he is Mr. Cashless most times. Tha was when this egungun approached me and was murmuring mumbojumbo in my ears, he was begging for money actually. I no answer and kept a straight face. He was persistent, he was hyping me and all. I was almost getting to where I wanted to buy stuff, egungun refuse to go. I needed to do ATM so I walked to the nearest one, na so Egungun follow me o, dey wait by the side. In his mind I will go and collect money and give him abi? Na that day I know say truly there are many mad people in our society, only few are roaming. Ah! This egungun dey craze! He still followed me ooooo till he got tired and left. Me that I was ready for him if he try nonsense with that his cane. I will give him a factory resetting slap he'd think na thunder strike am. They should ban them nonentity from Enugu and environs. Imagine assaulting a nurse wey dey go her own jẹjẹ. Radarada! |

There are quite a handful of such words. In phonetics, we call them sight words because they don't sound anything like they look. You can't apply the principle of the sound of the letters to pronounce them. They will 'fall your hands" Many times, there are silent letters that you don't get to pronounce at all. Again, you need to be familiar with the words to be able to pronounce them correctly. There are tools to help you with this. Acquiesce Chaos Receipt Gobbledegook Miniscule Conscientious Weird Playwright Nauseous Chiaroscurist Tortoise Wednesday Annihilation Jewelry Liaison Choir Jeopardy Indict Asthma Defiant Knead Lieutenant Colonel Awry Psyche Façade Leopard Bankruptcy Chocolate etc. |

Marriage is marriage ok? Forget that lie about it's just a paper thing. It's all the more binding. He gets abroad now, he gets a soft landing, things are falling in place, he's peaceful and all...the way he's settling in is the same way your love (if there's ever anything like that) is gradually trickling away from his heart...He's gonna f√ck the other girl, they're gonna make babies...He is at peace... There's nothing to fight for anymore....ki la ń bá ka mode will set in. He's never coming back for you! Age 30 is getting a bit up there to settle down. Please, don't waste any more time or emotions on somebody who will not reciprocate. Don't go running blindly into the arms of another deceiver, Nairaland doesn't run Agony Aunt services. Be intentional with your next moves as regards your career and a choice of man. We should listen to our parents too. Sometimes, their fears are valid. I wish you well ọmọ ìyà. Goodluck finding the one! |
Nigerians don't know what they want.... that's the tall and short of this thread. People are selfish, irrational, crude and atrocious. They're coming from a deep place of intense hatred and bigotry. It has eaten so profoundly into them that they are now bereft of any sense of reasoning. We're like if e can spoil, make e spoil. What I know is if heaven wanna fall; a ta bá ara ile, a ta bá ara oko. Ẹ mu ra sí! |
influenz:David of course. I like to praise just like David. |
God please 🙏🙏🙏🙏 A win is what we want. |
Racoon:This is out of context if it's been renovated. Next! |
RickyJesus:Do you know I don't even know how to use it cause it seems somehow to me. But I now discover, just recently, that some people who are semi-illiterates find it easier to use it. You know spelling is a challenge to some people. My tailors, 2 of them will quickly change to VN whenever we're chatting. Some people don't just like to type, VN is a lazy man's way out. I might just learn how to use it so I can deal better with the electrician and my laundry woman. Anytime I'm chatting with them, my husband will collect my phone, check and say: "Oyinbo ẹ ti pọju, oya delete this one." ![]() We may not appreciate that technology but those set of people that will, will really be grateful they can have that option. Different strokes for different folks. |
Nature129:This reminds me of how T.Bag in Prison Break went back to his ex's house and finished her there. Nigeria and weird news. Dem take am do us! |
Onyeka90210:I love this movie. Still watched it recently. |
dominique:My thinking exactly. I'm finally done! How much I buy decoder sef? I dey use times 3 of it for ordinary sub now. This doesn't make sense anymore. I'm out! |

Caleycash:No you didn't get it. That arrogance Ehn, I mean when you are still struggling to make it, don't be too proud to do any kind of job within the ambience of the law, don't see any job as beneath you, you never can tell. I used to hawk wares, I used to serve food at parties and wash the plates afterwards, I used to do laundry service before (Local Alagbafọ) I used to do background vocalists for musicians. Those things don't deter me, I know where I'm going. I'm still going o. I believe in my own hands. If anyone gives me fine, if not, it's also fine. That's why I always say even if I marry a Dangote, I'll work. I can't stay idle it's a taboo. If you have made your money and you want to add a tinge of arrogance to it, it's fine but be careful. |
EreluRoz:Sleep will not even come if I have clothes on. Plus I don't need any robe to go to the bathroom. I walk there with no clothes on, even to the kitchen, l love my freedom ![]() |
It's not a good place to be. I hate to be at anybody's mercy.....Ah! You don kill me be that. For everyone struggling, keep your heads up, don't be lazy, don't be arrogant, believe in what your hands can do for you. If you receive help from elsewhere, accept it with gratitude but don't expect you'd get help. That's what keeps me up, I face my battles squarely without any expectations, it's more honourable. To ask for help is not weakness it just might not work out. I'd be damned if I show you my unclothedness and you couldn't cover me😱 Many say it's pride but I call it self esteem. |
