I terms of Global sales Xiaomi is no.4 in the world,no.1 in India, and no.5 in china the same country both brands originated from

Guy i used Gionee first,then tecno,then infinix,but i can say this the redmi 7a is the best phone i have ever had,and even though it 32k if u buy it,swers u won't think of buying a more expensive phone for a while

Is there a theme that renders those icons to smaller ones? The icons are too big. Can't find the option to reduce icon size on *Redmi 7A*
N.B: I've checked where the icon size button should be. It's not there!

Go to ur home screen,Press and hold,You Will then see some options at the bottom of the screen,Press settings,After press MORE,Then scroll down till u see icon size then adjust it to how u like, I think it better to change font than icons, a better font makes the icons look smaller

That's why Xioami is the best phone, At least for me, It's the only brand so far that has so much customisation on Their phones

What people don't realize is that, these days, smaller phones may be more expensive. Why?

1. Battery Size

The larger screen means a bigger frame and therefore more space to fit in a larger battery. A lot of manufacturers for these components are designing them around larger display sizes. Therefore, if you want a smaller device, say 5" or even less, are you ready to deal with 2500mAh or 3000mAh batteries? If yes, next point.

2. Screen Resolution

With a battery capacity so small, you'll most likely have to settle for a lower screen resolution. Yes, there are older flagship devices with similarly sized batteries and QHD screens, but you'll have to realize the flagship SoCs and the display scaling tech they use in order to give the devices more screen on time and longer usage per charge. Still okay will that, well...


3. Price

Now, we've covered two major aspects where the size matters and now we're here. OEMs like Samsung can afford to make smaller devices if they want too. They have the R& team and the money to spend on making new components for these devices. That leaves you with a device that has to be expensive in order to meet all that manufacturing costs.

If Xiaomi decides to make a smaller device with a price tag of say $500, would you be willing to make a purchase? Even the iPhone SE that aimed to bring back the small form factor had to use old iPhone 8 components (4.7" display, 1821mAh battery, Single 7mp camera...etc) and changed only the SoC and battery connector clip...and all that costs $450 (64GB).

But my phone is 5.45 inches at 4000mah and the battery out-lastes phones with bigger screens at the same battery capacity,Screen is sharp at 294 dpi, To me specs determine the price and not screen size,And this phone is cheaper than other phones with bigger screen of the same specs, that being said i still prefer smaller screens because of ease of use

I'm using the 7a and am enjoying it, Imagine the camera beat the 45k+ infinix hot 8 3cameras,and has a sharper screen,my question for Xiaomi is that why can't they create small screen phones with high specs for people that like compact screens, even if i have money the only options i can see are the outdated Google pixel phones

RN8 Pro Fanboys should come and defend the SoC.

No lie the mtk processors are put in sports mode to give higher benchmarks, its not good because the performance of the g90t will be inconsistent compared to sd 720

My oga, I always argue to learn new things, from your analysis you've have shot yourself at the leg. Redmi Note 8 pro has better processor, camera, other things. So why would Note 9s cost more? Do you actually 'remember that Note 8 has better spec compared to RN7.. yet note 8 is cheaper or let me say very close. In gadget market, specifications determines the price...
